    Abstract: A mixer is mechanically self cleaned without using solvents. A housing defines a mixing chamber with a fluid pressurized mixer head rotatably supported within the housing. The mixer head has retractable mixing paddles. A wiper scrubs material from the mixing head and chamber walls as it is advanced through the mixing chamber during cleaning. A nozzle plunger drives material from a mixing chamber nozzle.
