Abstract: A method for determining, from a document, an answer to a query using a query answering system, comprising: (i) encoding, using an encoder, one or more documents; (ii) encoding a received query; (iii) generating, using an attention mechanism, a query-aware document representation comprising alignment between one or more words in one of the plurality of documents and one or more words in the query; (iv) generating, using a hierarchical self-attention mechanism, a word-to-sentence alignment of the query-aware document representation; (v) labeling, using a conditional random field classifier, each of a plurality of words in the word-to-sentence alignment with one of a one of a plurality of different sequence identifiers, resulting in possible labeled answering spans; and (vi) generating, from the one or more possible labeled answering spans, a response to the query.

Abstract: In a method for configuring documents for circulation, a document template and a plurality of field templates are created. The document template and the field templates are integrated to obtain an integrated document template. A workflow template is generated according to the integrated document template. A document entity is generated according to the integrated document template in response to a first user operation. The document entity is operated by a second user operation. A workflow entity derives from to the workflow template, the workflow entity including a plurality of node entities, and the node entities include a start node entity and an end node entity. The document entity is transferred from the start node entity to the end node entity according to the workflow entity. The method meets the requirements for general circulation of documents generated by a business with ever-increasing complexity.

Abstract: A collaborative content management system is disclosed herein for receiving a command to add an annotation object following a character input into a line of a collaborative content item. The system inserts an annotation object onto the line following the character, detects a selection of the annotation object, and displays a secondary collaborative content item in visual association with the character. The system detects textual content that corresponds to a citation within the secondary collaborative content item, and responsive to detecting the textual content, generates for display a template for inputting fields of a citation. The system receives text entered into one or more of the fields, generates a citation based on the text, and inputs the citation into the secondary collaborative content item.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for creating a layout of digital assets are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: presenting a layout of digital assets, wherein the layout of digital assets includes a plurality of elements; receiving a selection of a digital asset from a group of available digital assets to be included in the layout of digital assets; in response to receiving the selection of the digital asset, causing a representation of the digital asset to be presented in the layout of digital assets; causing an image that represents the layout of digital assets to be created, wherein the image is associated with a Uniform Resource Locator (URL); and in response to determining that the URL has been selected, causing the image to be presented.

Abstract: A system and method of producing a web page by at least one processor may include: receiving at least one web page component (WPC), associated with one or more WPC attributes; producing at least one first scheme, comprising a representation of the at least one WPC, in a unified scheme format; interpreting the at least one scheme to produce at least one second scheme, comprising a representation of one or more instantiations of WPCs in an interpreted format; and producing a web page comprising one or more instantiations of WPCs of the at least one second scheme.

Abstract: At least one processing device, operating upon a body of text in a document, identifies occurrences of at least one content type in the body of text. The at least one processing device thereafter generates a user interface that includes portions of text from the body of text that are representative of at least some of the occurrences of the at least one content type in the document. For each content type, the occurrences corresponding to that content type can be grouped together to provide grouped content type occurrences that are subsequently collocated in the user interface. Those portions of text corresponding to the grouped content type occurrences may be arranged in alphanumeric order. The user interface may comprise at least a portion of the body of text as well as indicia indicating instances of the occurrences within the portion of the body of text.

Abstract: The system provides a method and apparatus for generating a profile of a first user, where the profile comprises interaction parameters associated with the user. The system can generate a profile of a second user, also comprising interaction parameters of the second user. The system can then provide suggestions to either or both the first and second user for interacting with each other.

Abstract: A computer system conditionally processes a template document to produce one or more finished documents. Annotations in the template document are identified, each annotation indicating an instruction name and a portion of the template document to which the annotation is applied. The template document is processed using one or more structured data feeds that indicate, for each annotation, instructions for transforming the portion of the template document associated with the annotation, wherein the instructions are indicated by the instruction name of the annotation. Finished documents are generated by executing the instructions to transform the template document into each finished document, wherein transforming includes: replacing data in the template document, adding data to the template document, and removing data from the template document.

Abstract: An electronic device, when in a first tilted state, displays a content page in a sketch mode, which includes displaying a zoomed view of a portion of the content page, and configuring the zoomed view of the portion of the content page to accept user inputs modifying content in the first portion of the content page. While displaying the content page in the sketch mode, the device detects that it is tilted from the first tilted state to a distinct second tilted state, and in response, displays the content page in an overview mode, which includes zooming out to display an overview of the content page. Optionally, displaying the content page in the overview mode includes displaying an input position indicator over the overview of the content page to indicate the portion of the content page previously displayed in the zoomed view.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for abstractive summarization of text by viewing sequence transduction as a language modeling problem. One method comprises an operation for training a machine-learning program to create a machine-learning model that estimates a word to be added to a running summary for the text being summarized. The method further comprises operations for detecting the text to be summarized, initializing the running summary, and performing a plurality of iterations. Each iteration comprises providing, to the machine-learning model, the source text and the running summary, and adding, using the machine-learning model, a new word to the running summary. Further, the method comprises an operation for storing, on a memory, the running summary as the summary of the text.

Abstract: A computer implemented method includes recording data representative of a user experience sensed by a mixed reality device during a mixed reality experience of a user in a space, processing the recorded data to infer one or more actions performed by the user in the space during the mixed reality experience, and creating an augmented replay of the mixed reality experience based on the recorded data and inferred actions performed by the user during the mixed reality experience.

Abstract: Self-executing document revision includes creating a current version of an electronic rendering of a collaborative document based on input received from a user via a communicative coupling with a data communications network. The current version's relevancy is determined by a self-executing document revisor and compared with the relevancy of a prior version of the collaborative document. In response to determining the relevancy of the current version is less than the relevancy of the prior version, one or more segments of one or more electronically stored versions of the collaborative document are selected based on a relevancy of each of the one or more segments, the relevancy of each determined by the self-executing document revisor. The self-executing document revisor generates a graphical representation of a revised version of the collaborative document by merging the one or more segments selected with the current version of the collaborative document.

Abstract: A system for generating and using templates is described. In an example embodiment, a system may receive a template list and previews of templates in the template list and display the previews to a user via a graphical interface. In some instances, the system may receive an input selecting a certain template from among the templates from the user via the graphical interface, retrieve a template file describing the certain template, and display a content item of the user integrated into the certain template based on the template file. In some embodiments, the system may facilitate unlocking or providing access to templates, the template file may be associated with an asset package including files used when applying the template file to content, or the template may include multiple template pages into which content elements may be inserted to create an arrangement or sequence of content.

The computing system interfaces with the third party server to retrieve data associated with the worksheet. The computing system infers attributes of the worksheet from the retrieved data. The attributes correspond to a type of data represented in the worksheet. The computing system generates a narrative template for the one or more narrative frameworks. The computing system generates one or more data variables for the one or more narrative frameworks based on the generated narrative template. The computing system constructs the one or more narrative frameworks by selectively retrieving data from the worksheet for each data variable of the one or more data variables in the narrative framework.

Abstract: The system receives a message having a sender and a recipient. The system identifies entities associated with the message and associated with any content that is associated with the message. The system determines whether to, and how to, modify the message based on relationship information among the sender, the recipient, and any entities identified in the message or components of the message. A relationship between a sender and recipient may be determined using, for example, a database of relationship information. The system modifies, for example, text, images, or video of the message to generate the personalized message. The personalized message include the original message along with context information to help indicate the relevance of the message to the recipient. The context information can include text, images, video, or other information. To illustrate, the context information can include keywords or identifiers that indicate entities associated with the message.

The method includes: (101) receiving current input content in a document region on an online document page; (102) displaying, in response to identifying that the current input content is a link address, a selection box on the online document page; and (104) in response to determining that a display mode selected by a user from the selection box is a non-link display mode, obtaining, based on the non-link display mode selected by the user, corresponding content from a page of the link address, and displaying the corresponding content of the page linked with the link address in the document region.
