    Abstract: A deployable three dimensional structure is provided formed from at least three circumferential scissors like elements joined together and at least three radial scissors like elements joined together. The scissors like elements are formed from two rods joined to each other at a pivot. The structure is foldable into a closed compact state and deployable into an open erect state.
