  • Patent number: 9395528
Abstract: The present invention relates to a photographing control device, microscope and program that can simply confirm whether time lapse photography is being executed normally or not. A number of a display target round, time required for processing of the round, and the operation state of each device of an inverted microscope and a camera in the round, are displayed in a window 431 on a photographed result display screen 421 that displays the photographed result of the time lapse photography. The individual operation time of the each device of the inverted microscope and the camera from the start of the processing of a photographing point selected in a list box 433 to the completion of the photographing of a channel selected in a list box 434, is displayed in a window 435. When an image button is pressed, the image of a photographed sample is displayed. The present invention can be applied to software for controlling time lapse photography using a microscope, for example.

  • Patent number: 9361354
Abstract: Systems and methods of classifying structured and/or unstructured data. Hierarchical categorization is used when evaluating and providing data services. For instance, service level objectives may contain sub-levels associated with additional service level objectives. This hierarchal system enables an entity to create a more efficient structure for managing and mapping service level objectives to the various services offered by a data center or by service providers associated with a network. Higher service level objectives are groupings of sub service level objectives. Decisions for each data object can be made independently and the hierarchical arrangement enables conflicting service levels to be resolved. An entity can adequately categorize its data, thereby allowing the entity to better maintain and service the data according to its needs using an information management system.

  • Patent number: 9331955
Abstract: The embodiments described herein generally relate to a protocol for implementing data operations, e.g., a version of SMB, atop RDMA transports. In embodiments, systems and methods use the protocol definition, which specifies new messages for negotiating an RDMA connection and for transferring SMB2 data using the negotiated communication. A new protocol message may include new header information to determine message size, number of messages, and other information for sending the SMB2 data over RDMA. The header information is used to accommodate differences in message size requirements between RDMA and SMB2. The SMB Direct protocol allows SMB2 data to be fragmented into multiple individual RDMA messages that a receiver may then logically concatenate into a single SMB2 request or SMB2 response. The SMB Direct protocol also may allow SMB2 to transfer application data via efficient RDMA direct placement and to signal the application data's availability when the transfer is complete.

  • Patent number: 9307036
Abstract: A method and system for web access using a cross-domain cookie that uses a cookie server to generate a public cookie which uniquely identifies a client and is adapted for the client to access multiple operator servers that are recognized by the public cookie. When an operator server receives an access request from the client without a valid public cookie recognizing the operator server, it redirects the access request to the cookie server, which generates a public cookie, redirects the access request back to the operator server and passes along the public cookie. The operator server then writes the public cookie into the client and binds itself with the public cookie. A public cookie may include a group of related cookies identifying the common client that are generated this way to allow the same client's activities to be tracked by different operator servers having different domain names over the Internet.

  • Patent number: 9188850
Abstract: A display system is provided to surround a user with an out-the window scene. The system includes a screen structure that is a facetted back-projection dome made up of a polygonal polar top facet surrounded by trapezoidal facets angulated downward from it in an upper facet row. A middle row of facets extends angulated downward therefrom, and a lower row of trapezoidal facets extends down from them. Each facet has video projected thereon by a high definition projector, and to maximize resolution and efficiently use the projector output, the vertical height of each facet makes use of the full vertical field of pixels available from the associated projector. The facets are all tangent to a sphere about a design eyepoint of the dome. The projector resolutions and the size, position and material of the facets are such that the imagery visible on the inside of the dome on the facets is at resolution corresponding to a visual acuity of 20/50 or higher, preferably 20/20, and at or near eye-limiting resolution.

  • Patent number: 9137139
Abstract: A network device receives packets sent over a network from another network device. Each packet contains a source identifier that identifies a device that is the source of the packet, a destination identifier that identifies a device that is the intended destination of the packet, a sender identifier that identifies a network device that encrypted and sent the packet and a sequence number associated with the packet. The network device stores data indicating source identifier, destination identifier, sender identifier and sequence number for packets received over time. The network device rejects a newly received packet when it is determined that the sequence number of the newly received packet is less than the last sequence number stored for a matching packet flow (same source identifier, destination identifier and sender identifier) and falls outside of the counter-based window with respect to the last sequence number stored for the matching packet flow.

  • Patent number: 9126533
Abstract: A driving support device uses a camera mounted on a vehicle for imaging a blind spot area created by a pillar of the vehicle and displays an image taken by the camera on the interior surface of the pillar. A virtual plane passing through boundaries of the blind spot area is set, and an image plane of the camera is set at a predetermined position where a non-displayed area or an excess area, created by deviation between the virtual plane and the image plane of the camera, is reduced. Image data input from the camera is subjected to coordinate transformation on the virtual plane, and an image corresponding to the blind spot area created by the pillar is displayed on the interior surface of the pillar, based on the image data subjected to coordinate transformation on the virtual plane.

  • Patent number: 9112724
Abstract: In one embodiment, a first multiple spanning tree (MST) region configuration for an MST process may be maintained at a switch in a computer network, where the first configuration has a virtual local area network (VLAN)-to-instance (VI) mapping that maps each of one or more VLANs to one of one or more MST instances in the MST region. The switch may subsequently receive a second MST region configuration that has a different VI mapping than the first configuration, and may determine one or more VLANs of the second configuration that have a different VI mapping from the first configuration (“affected VLANs”). Accordingly, in response to a trigger to apply the second configuration at the switch, the affected VLANs are blocked for a delay, and the second configuration may be applied at the switch without restarting the MST process.
