  • Patent number: 11990218
Abstract: A system and associated method are provided for fulfillment of medication requisitions corresponding to contained medication units. Requisition fulfillment logic may be included to provide decision data to a patient care provider for use in selecting one of a plurality of different fulfillment sites to fill a given medication requisition. A requisition router may route the medication requisition to a selected one of the plurality of fulfillment sites. The fulfillment sites may provide medication requisition metadata (e.g., data relating to the preparation and handling of medication units) to a medication requisition database in corresponding relation to the corresponding medication requisitions fulfilled by the fulfillment sites. The medication requisition metadata may be stored in the medication requisition database and accessed to facilitate enhanced management functionalities in relation to medication units dispensed by patient care providers.

  • Patent number: 11960456
Abstract: A graph-based clinical concept mapping algorithm maps ICD-9 (International Classification of Disease, Revision 9) and ICD-10 (International Classification of Disease, Revision 10) codes to unified Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine (SNOMED) clinical concepts to normalize longitudinal healthcare data to thereby improve tracking and the use of such data for research and commercial purposes. The graph-based clinical concept mapping algorithm advantageously combines a novel graph-based search algorithm and natural language processing to map orphan ICD codes (those without equivalents across codebases) by finding optimally relevant shared SNOMED concepts. The graph-based clinical concept mapping algorithm is further advantageously utilized to group ICD-9/10 codes into higher order, more prevalent SNOMED concepts to support clinical interpretation.

  • Patent number: 11948670
Abstract: A method and system may provide an automated pharmacy processing system which automatically processes an electronic prescription by converting the electronic prescription into a pharmacy prescription record. In this way, an electronic prescription can be filled by a pharmacist without manual data entry. The system receives an electronic prescription and compares data from the electronic prescription with entries in one or more pharmacy database(s). When there is a match between the electronic prescription data and an entry in the one or more pharmacy database(s), the system populates the pharmacy prescription record with data from the matching pharmacy database entry. If all of the data fields from the pharmacy prescription record have been populated the pharmacist can fill the electronic prescription.

  • Patent number: 11923081
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to the determination of local environmental air quality by processing data from a local device sensing a user's respiration-vocalization. In an illustrative example, respiration-vocalization for a CPAP user may be sensed by an airflow and/or air pressure sensor. Respiratory disturbance events, such as coughing, for example, may be detected. The sensed events, converted to respiration-vocalization data, may be collected to estimate the environmental air quality and/or particle density around the user. Some examples may estimate specific allergen concentrations by correlating user respiration-vocalization data with the respiration-vocalization data from users/patients with known airborne particle sensitivities. In some embodiments, regional environmental air quality data may be compared with respiration-vocalization data to produce local environmental air quality results.

  • Patent number: 11923075
Abstract: A system associated with determining physician attribution related to in-patient care based at least on prediction of attribution values associated with patient-physician attribution is disclosed. The system extracts clinical data associated with a patient from a first database, with the extracted clinical data comprising clinical information related to the patient and the clinical information including vector values indicative of clinical progress of the patient at various stages of treatment. The system stores the extracted clinical data in a second database and determines attribution values using the attribution manager with the attribution values being based on a predictive analysis using predetermined weights associated with the vector values. A training data set is generated based on learned weight values associated with the clinical progress of the patient. The system iteratively updates the vector values of the patient at least using a predictive analysis associated with the training data set.
