Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a printer driver, a reception unit, a first and second determination unit, a transmission unit, and a change unit to instruct, via the printer driver, a printer to execute printing. The reception unit receives print data including setting data having setting values for print setting items. The first determination unit determines whether setting values cause an inconsistency. The second determination unit determines whether the client apparatus or the information processing apparatus is to resolve an inconsistency. The transmission unit transmits, in response to determining that the setting values cause an inconsistency and that the client apparatus is to resolve the inconsistency, an instruction for resolving the inconsistency to the client apparatus.

Abstract: A communication relaying method, which is used in an information processing apparatus that is communicated to an image processing apparatus through a first communication interface, the method comprising: processes data, which is transmitted to and received from the image processing apparatus by execution of an application program, according to a particular protocol in accordance with transmission/reception through a second communication interface different from the first communication interface; registering a predetermined own-device address to feed transmission data according to the protocol, back to the information processing apparatus; and transmitting, in a case where the transmission destination address of transmission data processed by the processing is the own-device address transmit the transmission data through the first communication interface.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus capable of synthesizing a form image with an aggregate image created by aggregating images on one page. A CPU determines whether an operator performed on a touch panel a first operation for changing an image with which the form image is to be synthesized from an image as an operation target to one of the images of the aggregate image or the whole aggregate image, or a second operation for rotating the form image synthesized with the operation target image. When the first operation is performed, the CPU synthesizes the form image with the changed image after scaling the form image to the size of the changed image. When the second operation is performed, the CPU synthesizes the form image with the operation target image after rotating the form image and scaling the same to the size of the operation target image.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a frequency band (FB) determination method of a wireless access device which provides an access point to enable one or more terminals to wirelessly access a network. The method may comprise the steps of receiving database-related information from database servers which have database related to unused FBs of a television broadcasting band (TVBB), determining a database server to be accessed among the database servers on the basis of the database-related information, requesting the determined database server and receiving information on available FBs, and determining FBs, among the received operating FBs, for the one or more terminals. The operating FBs are determined by the database server so that the wireless access device can coexist with a neighboring homogeneous or heterogeneous wireless access device without mutual interference within the TVBB.

Based on the stored information, a printer driver corresponding to an identifier that identifies a printing apparatus entered in the received electronic mail is identified as a printer driver to be used. Abstract: A method for creating reusable composite components from interpreted pages of rendered document during dynamic document construction involves first obtaining a list of document components from the page and identifying any non-cached components. The individual reusable document components (RDCs) are cached having been rendered to their respective bounding box dimensions. These RDCs are then permuted into combinations of RDCs and each composite RDC is cached rendered relative to each other in a bounding box of sufficient size to adequately contain the combination. Then, combining RDCs to form composite reusable underlays RULs and caching the composite RULs rendered to full-page size. Any portion of each RDC of each composite RUL falling outside the boundary of RULs full-page size is clipped. If a method renders pages having a combination of reusable components and non-cached components, the first step assesses the page for the possibility of having an underlay-overlay pair.

An image processing apparatus (MFP) receives and displays host PC names and scan setting names transmitted from host PCs on a display section. The MFP finalizes a host PC name selected by a user from the host PC names and one of scan setting names associated with the finalized host PC name, which is selected by the user. The MFP sends a scan execution instruction to the host PC to instruct the same to execute scanning using a scan setting associated with the finalized scan setting name.
