  • Patent number: 6264164
Abstract: A ring-shaped elastomer body is defined by an outer wall and an inner wall and includes two diametrically opposed suspension poles and two equatorial zones. The suspension poles and the equatorial zones are arranged such that the suspension poles move away from each other and the equatorial zones approach each other when the suspension lug is subjected to tensile loading. A flexible insert is embedded in the elastomer body such that the insert transmits tensile forces from one of the suspension poles to the other of the suspension poles through the equatorial zones when the suspension lug is subjected to tensile loading. The distance of the insert from the inner wall of the elastomer body decreases steadily from the suspension poles to the equatorial zones. As a result, no harmful tensile stress can occur anywhere in the elastomer body when the suspension lug is subjected to tensile loading.

  • Patent number: 6254043
Abstract: A lockable stand in order to be able to transport the stand. A central leg (2) is provided with a first support plate (26) and the other stand legs (3, 4) are provided with respective further support plates (36, 46) which are placed on the first support plate (26) of the central leg (2). Locking consist of pegs for locking the legs together are arranged on the support plates and coordinated holes or a strap of the central leg (2), in which the strap is fastened to a clamp fitting (25), engage one another. Locking of the legs in a retracted position is produced by means of a lock (27) arranged on the central leg (2). A manipulation of the stand by an operator can be performed in the upright position.

  • Patent number: 6244555
Abstract: A copy holder adaptable to independently stand free of a computer monitor and upright laptop configuration. The copy holder comprises a pedestal frame around the base of computer monitor and upright laptop configuration, two vertical pole members to which couple a vertical frame structure, a pair of vertical axial sleeves interconnects by a horizontal shelf member and an upright plate member. Each vertical pole member has a spring-powered peg. Each vertical axial sleeve has a spring-powered bolt. The vertical frame structure has a plurality of holes. The vertical axial sleeves adjustably move and reversibly fix to a position along the vertical frame structure using two spring-powered bolts to reversibly engage the aforementioned plurality of holes. A plurality of reels, cords and cleats are provided to fasten copy to the copy holder.

  • Patent number: 6237883
Abstract: A sign attachment bracket assembly for holding and securing a sign panel on an upright member of a sign stand. The assembly includes a spring member having a tab extending through an aperture on the surface of the upright member. The tab is releasably positionable between a locked position and an unlocked position. A first bracket member is slidably mounted on the upright member and supported by the tab. The first bracket member includes a slot adapted to receive a horizontally oriented cross-brace of the sign assembly. A second bracket member is movable relative to the first bracket member and encloses the slot of the first bracket member, thereby securing the cross-brace in the slot.

  • Patent number: 6234445
Abstract: A pump motor mounting arrangement includes a vehicle frame and a motor bracket fixedly secured to a side of the pump motor, the motor bracket having an upper extension and a lower extension to which a bottom positioning bolt is removably attached. A support ledge is affixed to the vehicle frame for supporting the lower extension of the motor bracket. The support ledge has a slot extending generally in parallel to the vehicle frame and receiving the head of the bottom positioning bolt. The pump motor mounting arrangement further includes a top fixture plate for, when tightened, depressing the upper extension of the motor bracket against the vehicle frame to keep the pump in place and for, when loosened, allowing the pump motor to be slidingly moved on the support ledge into a temporary maintenance position.

  • Patent number: 6227514
Abstract: A bracket having a wedge-shaped lower body and an upper body. The upper body has an end formed at a right angle with respect to the faces of the upper body and an opposite end which is formed at a selected angle with respect to the faces of the upper body. The first end of the lower body is attached to a selected end of the upper body wherein the upper body is coplanar with the lower body or the lower body is at a selected angle with respect to the upper body. The bracket is mounted, preferably on an upright surface, with the upper body serving as a support to which selected objects may be removably connected.

  • Patent number: 6227502
Abstract: A gripper device made of rigid material and having only two members. The two members are basically shaped alike, each having a single, longitudinal axis edge that faces and interlocks slidingly with the other. One of the members has a number of cord or cable retaining cut-outs cut through an axis perpendicular to the sliding axis of the facing members. Provision is made for preventing the relative sliding of the members when cords or cables are being retained by the device, which can be secured by a single lock. The gripper device is small, easy to use and economic to produce.
