  • Patent number: 10122940
Abstract: Techniques and devices for creating an AutoLoop output video include performing postgate operations. The AutoLoop output video is created from a set of frames. After generating the AutoLoop output video based on a plurality of loop parameters and at least a portion of the frames, postgate operations determine one or more dynamism metrics based on a variability metric and a dynamic range metric for a plurality of pixels within the video loop. Postgate operations compare the dynamism metrics to one or more postgate threshold values and reject the video loop based on the comparison of the dynamism metrics to the postgate threshold values.

  • Patent number: 10032432
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosures provide a method, system and apparatus for transmitting intelligent information. When one frame of video data x is to be transmitted, a SDI sending terminal determines whether there is intelligent information satisfying a transmission condition; the transmission condition comprising that intelligent information is not transmitted and transmission of a frame of video data corresponding to the intelligent information is finished. If there is the intelligent information satisfying the transmission condition, the SDI sending terminal adds intelligent information y being one item of the intelligent information satisfying the transmission condition into a preset position of the video data x; and transmits the video data x having the intelligent information y. By using the solutions of the present disclosures, implementation costs are reduced and security is improved.

  • Patent number: 9819839
Abstract: Audio decoding (108) is carried out in a video display device (10), and a frame number (AC) of the decoded audio is wirelessly transmitted, together with audio data, to an audio output device (20). An audio frame number (RC) is returned from the audio output device (20) to the video display device (10). The timing of video decoding (106) is controlled such that the frame number (VC) of the video decoded in the video display device (10) matches the returned audio frame number (RC). Even if it is not possible to predict the delays such as those involved with transmission from the video display device to the audio output device, and even if the delays fluctuate, it is possible to synchronize the video display with the audio output.

  • Patent number: 9774793
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for segmenting an image frame of a live camera feed. A biasing scheme can be used to initially localize pixels within the image that are likely to contain the object being segmented. An optimization algorithm for an energy optimization function, such as a graph cut algorithm, can be used with a non-localized neighborhood graph structure and the initial location bias for localizing pixels in the image frame representing the object. Subsequently, a matting algorithm can be used to define a pixel mask surrounding at least a portion of the object boundary. The bias and the pixel mask can be continuously updated and refined as the image frame changes with the live camera feed.
