Abstract: An improved query system in which registered sex offender information published in state and territory databases is obtained using an improved data scraper, merged, cleaned, and/or enriched to remove inaccuracies is described herein. Users can then perform a single search or multiple searches simultaneously (e.g., perform batch searches) and view the results in a single content page. The improved query system can use the merged and/or cleaned data to generate a more limited set of search results, reducing the amount of mismatched or inaccurate information that a user may have to navigate through. Thus, users can perform one or more searches and view accurate search results without having to navigate through many different windows or content pages or perform additional navigational steps to identify relevant information.

Abstract: An apparatus, computer-readable medium, and computer-implemented method for extracting a subset, including receiving a request comprising one or more criteria indicating one or more criteria tables in a plurality of tables of the database, storing an entity graph corresponding to a schema of the database and the one or more criteria, determining one or more top-most criteria entities in the entity graph, and generating the subset from the plurality of tables by traversing the entity graph starting at the one or more top-most criteria entities without traversing any directed edge more than once.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for performing natural language-based data integration includes causing execution of a data integration application on a remote device via a network and causing surfacing of a GUI corresponding to the data integration application on a display of the remote device. The method includes receiving, via the GUI, a natural language input representing a data integration task, generating, via an LLM, a set of ordered activities corresponding to the data integration task represented by the natural language input, and selecting, via the LLM, one or more APIs for performing each activity within the set of ordered activities. The method also includes generating a data pipeline based on the set of ordered activities and the API(s) for performing each activity, as well as back-translating the data pipeline to a desired data format for execution by the data integration application.

Individual premises can include one or more server computers executing an instance of a local file system and including one or more temporary data storage devices. Individual instances of the local file system can access files stored in objects of a primary data store. Individual objects of the primary data store can be accessed using a common identifier indicating a storage location of the individual objects in the primary data store.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products are provided for determining acoustic feature vectors of query and target items in a first vector space, and mapping the acoustic feature vectors to a second vector space having a lower dimension. The distribution of vectors in the second vector space can then be used to identify items from the same songs, and/or items that are complementary. A mapping function is trained using a machine learning algorithm, such that complementary audio items are closer in the second vector space than the first, according to a given distance metric.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for using a structured data database and for exchanging electronic files containing unstructured or partially structured data. A system stores first structured data in a database, wherein the structured data represents a property. The system generates an electronic file, including by (a) storing unstructured data in the electronic file, wherein the unstructured data causes a representation of the property to be rendered on a face of a document represented by the file and (b) storing an identifier in the electronic file indicating a location in the database at which the first structured data is stored. The file is transmitted outside the system. Upon receipt of a copy of the file, the system reads the identifier from the copy of the received file and accesses the database location indicated by the identifier read from the received file.

Abstract: Database systems and related customization methods are provided. One exemplary method of modifying a database to support a new functionality involves receiving user input indicative of the new functionality from a client device coupled to a network, identifying existing customizations associated with a user of the client device in the database, determining a plurality of different solutions for implementing the new functionality based at least in part on the existing customizations associated with the user, providing a graphical user interface display at the client device including graphical indicia of the plurality of different solutions for implementing the new functionality, and in response to receiving indication of a selected solution of the plurality of different solutions from the client device, automatically instantiating a new customization corresponding to the selected solution in the database.

Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to determine tags for unknown media using multiple media features. Disclosed examples extract features from portions of the unknown media. Disclosed examples weight the features based at least partially on respective recognition technologies used to extract the features to determine corresponding weighted features. Disclosed examples search a database of pre-tagged media with a combination of the weighted features to generate a list of suggested tags for the unknown media, the list of suggested tags including relevancy scores for respective ones of the tags in the list. Disclosed examples assign a tag from the list of suggested tags to the unknown media based on a comparison of the relevancy score for the tag to a threshold.

In various embodiments, a computing system might assemble data extracted from each block of a first block(s) of a first instance of a blockchain in a generated first file(s), the assembled data being organized to mirror how the data is organized and stored in the first block(s); might store, in a secure database, the first file(s), the first file(s) being configured to be content-searchable, content-sortable, and/or content-filterable; might generate a second instance of the blockchain, which contains one or more second blocks, the one or more second blocks each containing the hash value of each corresponding first block(s), without containing the data contained in each block of the first block(s); and might store, in a distributed peer data storage system of the blockchain system, the generated second instance of the blockchain.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for facilitating large data transfers from a first data management system to a second data management system is disclosed. The method comprises receiving data from the first data management system by a first buffer component, rerouting, upon the first buffer component reaching a predefined fill-level, dynamically the received data to a second buffer component, wherein the second buffer component is adapted to process the rerouted received data, forwarding, by the second buffer component, the rerouted data once the first buffer component is again ready for receiving the rerouted data from the second buffer component, and sending, by a sending component, the data buffered in the first component to the second data management system.

Abstract: Data selection systems and techniques are described. For instance, a system receives a data set with a plurality of data elements. The system generates a plurality of random values. The system generates a ranking of the plurality of random values. The system selects a subset of the plurality of data elements based on a comparison between the ranking and a predetermined threshold. The predetermined threshold is based on a predetermined proportion of the plurality of data elements to be included in the subset. The system outputs a randomization scheme that includes the ranking and the predetermined proportion, wherein a second selection of a second subset of the plurality of data elements is based on the randomization scheme. The system output an indication of the subset and the second subset.

Abstract: A system and method for managing raw files are disclosed. A plurality of image files associated with one or more raw files that include respective metadata are evaluated. A set of one or more of the images files are grouped together based on matching the respective metadata. An asset file corresponding to the raw file and the grouped set of the image files are generated. The asset file are retrieved in response to a request from a user device. At least one of the image files in the grouped set are selected and a display of the selected image file is generated for rendering.

The method further includes determining a baseline data sector associated with the data sector. The method further includes determining, by a processing device, a content-dependent delta between the first content-dependent feature and a second content-dependent feature of the baseline data sector. The method further includes providing the content-dependent delta and an indicator to the baseline data sector for storage on a plurality of storage devices.

Abstract: A technique leverages a machine-trained pattern-completion engine to successively extract items-of-interest from unstructured data, categorize the items-of-interest, and identify relations in the unstructured data. The technique then generates a structured database based on the information it has identified. In some cases, the items-of-interest represent facts expressed by the unstructured data. The technique also leverages the structured database to perform various application tasks. In one approach, in the course of answering a query, the technique extracts supplemental information from the structured database. The technique then feeds the query and the supplemental information to the pattern-completion engine, and, in response thereto, receives output information that addresses the query. In some cases, the query is part of lengthy prompt information.

Abstract: A method and system, performed in a processor of a server computing device, of engaging a transitory sentiment community. The method comprises identifying, responsive to monitoring generation of the transitory sentiment community, a critical engagement juncture being reached, the transitory sentiment community including a collective of content consumers, the collective of content consumers providing a sentiment expressive usage associated with a subject of interest, the sentiment expressive usage characterized in accordance with a sentiment intensity rating, and initiating, responsive to the critical engagement juncture being reached, an engagement action directed to at least a subset of the collective of content consumers.

Abstract: Example solutions read compressed data from a file in persistent storage, directly into an in-memory store without decompression. Some examples transcode the compression scheme used by the file into the compression scheme used by the in-memory store whereas, in other examples, the in-memory store is compatible with the compression scheme used by the file. In some examples that use transcoding, radix clustering is used to speed up compression dictionary transcoding. The radix clustering minimizes cache misses, thereby increasing the efficiency of memory access. These approaches significantly improve cold start times when responding to queries.
