Abstract: A computer-implemented method for facilitating large data transfers from a first data management system to a second data management system is disclosed. The method comprises receiving data from the first data management system by a first buffer component, rerouting, upon the first buffer component reaching a predefined fill-level, dynamically the received data to a second buffer component, wherein the second buffer component is adapted to process the rerouted received data, forwarding, by the second buffer component, the rerouted data once the first buffer component is again ready for receiving the rerouted data from the second buffer component, and sending, by a sending component, the data buffered in the first component to the second data management system.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing off-chain functionality for data contained in blocks of blockchain. In various embodiments, a computing system might assemble data extracted from each block of a first block(s) of a first instance of a blockchain in a generated first file(s), the assembled data being organized to mirror how the data is organized and stored in the first block(s); might store, in a secure database, the first file(s), the first file(s) being configured to be content-searchable, content-sortable, and/or content-filterable; might generate a second instance of the blockchain, which contains one or more second blocks, the one or more second blocks each containing the hash value of each corresponding first block(s), without containing the data contained in each block of the first block(s); and might store, in a distributed peer data storage system of the blockchain system, the generated second instance of the blockchain.

Abstract: A transfer segment group task processing module of a database system is operable to send a first begin segment group transfer instruction to a first storage cluster based on a determination to transfer a set of segments stored via the first storage cluster to a second storage cluster. A target first ownership sequence number is received from the first storage cluster. A second begin segment group transfer instruction to the second storage cluster. A transfer complete notification is received from the second storage cluster. A complete storage instruction is sent to the second storage cluster. An updated second ownership sequence number is received from the second storage cluster indicating updating of second data ownership information of the second storage cluster. A commit transfer instruction is sent to the first storage cluster based on updated second ownership sequence number received from the second storage cluster.

Abstract: Data selection systems and techniques are described. For instance, a system receives a data set with a plurality of data elements. The system generates a plurality of random values. The system generates a ranking of the plurality of random values. The system selects a subset of the plurality of data elements based on a comparison between the ranking and a predetermined threshold. The predetermined threshold is based on a predetermined proportion of the plurality of data elements to be included in the subset. The system outputs a randomization scheme that includes the ranking and the predetermined proportion, wherein a second selection of a second subset of the plurality of data elements is based on the randomization scheme. The system output an indication of the subset and the second subset.

Abstract: A system and method for managing raw files are disclosed. A plurality of image files associated with one or more raw files that include respective metadata are evaluated. A set of one or more of the images files are grouped together based on matching the respective metadata. An asset file corresponding to the raw file and the grouped set of the image files are generated. The asset file are retrieved in response to a request from a user device. At least one of the image files in the grouped set are selected and a display of the selected image file is generated for rendering.

Abstract: A system and method of automated data collection which adjusts and reacts to expected availability of update data as well as adjusts and reacts to security restrictions in order to obtain update data as soon as reasonably possible without triggering security lockouts or other restrictions which require excessive amounts of manual intervention. The system and methods provide for efficient and timely collection of invoice data for timely processing, auditing and action.

Abstract: Managing access to usage data on a cloud-based data warehouse including storing, by a table manager, usage data for a plurality of organizations in a table within a cloud-base data warehouse; receiving, by the table manager from a first client, a request for usage data for a first organization of the plurality of organizations, wherein the first client is associated with the first organization; and retrieving, by the table manager, the requested usage data for the first organization using a parameterized connection to the cloud-based data warehouse, wherein the parameterized connection provides access to the usage data for the first organization and blocks access to usage data for each other organization in the plurality of organizations.

Abstract: In one implementation, a method includes identifying a first content-dependent feature associated with a data sector. The method further includes determining a baseline data sector associated with the data sector. The method further includes determining, by a processing device, a content-dependent delta between the first content-dependent feature and a second content-dependent feature of the baseline data sector. The method further includes providing the content-dependent delta and an indicator to the baseline data sector for storage on a plurality of storage devices.

Abstract: A technique leverages a machine-trained pattern-completion engine to successively extract items-of-interest from unstructured data, categorize the items-of-interest, and identify relations in the unstructured data. The technique then generates a structured database based on the information it has identified. In some cases, the items-of-interest represent facts expressed by the unstructured data. The technique also leverages the structured database to perform various application tasks. In one approach, in the course of answering a query, the technique extracts supplemental information from the structured database. The technique then feeds the query and the supplemental information to the pattern-completion engine, and, in response thereto, receives output information that addresses the query. In some cases, the query is part of lengthy prompt information.

Abstract: A method and system, performed in a processor of a server computing device, of engaging a transitory sentiment community. The method comprises identifying, responsive to monitoring generation of the transitory sentiment community, a critical engagement juncture being reached, the transitory sentiment community including a collective of content consumers, the collective of content consumers providing a sentiment expressive usage associated with a subject of interest, the sentiment expressive usage characterized in accordance with a sentiment intensity rating, and initiating, responsive to the critical engagement juncture being reached, an engagement action directed to at least a subset of the collective of content consumers.

Abstract: Example solutions read compressed data from a file in persistent storage, directly into an in-memory store without decompression. Some examples transcode the compression scheme used by the file into the compression scheme used by the in-memory store whereas, in other examples, the in-memory store is compatible with the compression scheme used by the file. In some examples that use transcoding, radix clustering is used to speed up compression dictionary transcoding. The radix clustering minimizes cache misses, thereby increasing the efficiency of memory access. These approaches significantly improve cold start times when responding to queries.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating analytical data based on captured audit trails are described. An exemplary method includes generating a natural language preference for the natural language of a document based on an opening action performed by an end user using a client device associated with the end user during a user session; generating a unique transaction key in response to the opening action; correlating subsequent actions relative to the document via the unique transaction key; generating content rich analytical data from an audit trail generated during the user session; obtaining informational content for the end user from informational content stored in a database; translating the obtained informational content; reformatting a native extensible markup language format of the obtained informational content obtained from the database; and providing the translated and formatted informational content to the end user.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods customizing electronic communications. A future event associated with a first user may be determined, and a second user that is associated with the first user may be identified. A plurality of communications involving the first user and the second user may be analyzed. A selection rule may be applied based on the analyzed plurality of communications, the selection rule identifying content from the database. Content from the database may be selected based on the application of the selection rule. An electronic message may be provided to the first user identifying the future event, and the selected content may be provided to the first user.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to systems and methods for automatically generating content, generating API requests and/or request bodies, structuring user-generated content, and/or generating structured content in collaboration platforms, such as documentation systems, issue tracking systems, project management platforms, and other platforms. The systems and methods described use a network architecture that includes a prompt generation service and a set of one or more purpose-configured large language model instances (LLMs) and/or other trained classifiers or natural language processors used to provide generative responses for content collaboration platforms.

Abstract: A current set of context features for a database query that is associated with a string is identified. The database query includes a sequence of tokens of a database syntax, and the current set of context features includes words from the string and tokens from the database query. An inference record is selected from an inference store based on a comparison of the current set of context features to context features of inference records in the inference store. The database query is modified using a resolution of the inference record to obtain an inferred database query. The resolution includes one or more tokens of the database syntax. A search of a database is invoked using a query based on the inferred database query to obtain search results.

Abstract: The present technology relates to a file processing device, a file processing method, and a program that enable efficient reproduction of a HEIF file. A high efficiency image file format (HEIF) file in which a related image associated with an image in the HEIF file is arranged in a top part of an mdat box is generated. Additionally, a top part of such a HEIF file is read. The present technology can be applied to generation and reproduction of a HEIF file.

Abstract: Aspects of the invention include techniques for providing a schema evolution on a live database system without an outage. A non-limiting example method includes initiating a schema change on a live database system. The schema change includes an attribute for a database object. A first application package having a user application that is dependent on the database object and that is bound with a release(deallocate) option is identified. Existing threads and new threads executing the first application package are routed to execute the first application package with a release(commit) option and the schema change on the live database system is completed. One or more additional threads concurrently executing one or more additional application packages remain executing with the release(deallocate) option.
