  • Patent number: 11960509
Abstract: Media content may be recommended based on feedback weightings. Input data describing the presentation of a media content items in association with content management accounts may be represented as data points. Each data point may identify feedback data for a media content item previously recommended for presentation in association with a content management account. The feedback data may identify a viewer reaction to the recommended media content item. A weighting factor based on the feedback data for the media content item presented in association with the content management account may be applied to produce a recommendation.

  • Patent number: 11954373
Abstract: The instant disclosure provides a data structure store system and a method of managing data in the store. The method includes receiving, by a data structure store management system, a request for storing data from a client. In the created data structure, each data element includes a portion of the data. On receiving a read request for at least part of the data, the data structure store management system provides at least part of the data to a recipient device. The data elements are stored in persistent memory in the form of one or more non-volatile random access devices, wherein during a time interval between receiving the storing request and providing the at least part of the data by the data structure store management system to the recipient device, the data structure store management system provides no portion of the data for writing to a hard disk drive.

  • Patent number: 11914552
Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards managing and tracking item identification of a plurality of items to determine if an item is a new or existing item, where an existing item has been previously processed. In some embodiments, two or more item identifiers may be generated. In one embodiment, generating the two or more item identifiers may include analyzing the item using a small item size characteristic, a compressed item, or for an identifier collision. The two or more item identifiers may be employed to determine if the item is a new or existing item. In one embodiment, the two or more item identifiers may be compared to a record about an existing item to determine if the item is a new or existing item. If the item is an existing item, then the item may be further processed to determine if the existing item has actually changed.

  • Patent number: 11907255
Abstract: In an embodiment, multiple computers cooperate to retrieve content from tables in a relational database. Each table contains respective rows. Each row contains a vertex of a graph. Many high-degree vertices are identified. Each high-degree vertex is connected to respective edges in the graph. A count of the edges of each high-degree vertex exceeds a degree threshold. A central computer detects that all vertices in a high-degree subset of tables are high-degree vertices. Based on detecting the high-degree subset of tables, multiple vertices of the graph that are not in the high-degree subset of tables are replicated. Within local storage capacity limits of the computers, this degree-based replication may be supplemented with other vertex replication strategies that are schema based, content based, or workload based. This intelligent selective replication maximizes system throughput by minimizing graph data access latency based on data locality.

  • Patent number: 11899649
Abstract: In a distributed database, a transaction is to be committed at a first coordinator server and one or more participant servers 1210. The first coordinator server is configured to receive a notification that each participant server of the transaction is prepared at a respective prepared timestamp, the respective prepared timestamp being chosen within a time range for which the respective participant server obtained at least one lock 1220. The first coordinator server computes the commit timestamp for the transaction equal or greater than each of the prepared timestamps 1230, and restrict the commit timestamp such that a second coordinator server sharing at least one of the participant servers for one or more other transactions at a shared shard cannot select the same commit timestamp for any of the other transactions 1240. The transaction is committed at the commit timestamp 1250.

  • Patent number: 11899680
Abstract: The present embodiments relate to metadata value-based mapping during a data load in a data integration job. A computing device can receive a first data set from a source system and computer-readable instructions to load data into a target system. The device can receive a first metadata set from the target system that describe destinations. The computing device can identify a first data value of the first data set that matches a metadata value of the first metadata set. The device can receive a data integration mapping of the second data value of the first data set to a data field associated with the matching metadata value of the first metadata set. The device can load the second data value of the first data set from the source system into the target system pursuant to the mapping and the computer-readable instructions.
