Abstract: An upright massage tub can be converted into a standard bathtub. The upright massage tub is designed so as users can safely and easily enter the tub in a step/sit motion, sitting themselves upright in a natural, ergonomic position (at approximately a standard chair height). This upright design is also better for user assistants, putting them in a better ergonomic position while they assist users in bathing. This upright massage tub design also includes a vertically adjustable hub, housing a water jet that can deliver a proximity source of water-jet flow.

Abstract: Disclosed is a microspeaker for use in a microspeaker box filled with porous particles. The microspeaker includes a frame having one surface as an open surface, a magnetic circuit including a yoke coupled to the frame, a magnet attached to the yoke, and a plate attached to the magnet, a voice coil configured to vibrate by mutual electromagnetic force with the magnetic circuit, a diaphragm allowing the voice coil to be attached thereto and configured to vibrate by the voice coil to generate sound, and a mesh coupled to the open surface of the frame.

Abstract: A washstand arrangement with a fountain jet water discharge device. More particularly, a washstand device includes a washstand having a wash-bowl sink and a water discharge device, configured for discharging water in the form of a fountain jet composed of individual jets and comprising a plurality of water discharge nozzles which are arranged in the wash-bowl sink for discharging the individual jets in associated individual jet directions from the wash-bowl sink obliquely upwards and back again to the wash-bowl sink. The water discharge nozzles are arranged within a strip-type nozzle assignment region having a strip length extending in sink circumferential direction and a strip height perpendicular thereto, wherein its strip length is greater than its strip height, and its strip length extends at most across half the sink circumference.

Abstract: A toilet trainer assembly is provided, having components which compactly fit together efficiently for shipping and stowing while also providing an improved experience for a child during use. The toilet trainer features a base member, a toilet seat, and a compartment which resembles a traditional toilet tank. The base member provides a hollow interior configured to be sized and shaped to fit the compartment and the toilet seat within when stowed. A flush mechanism provided on the toilet tank is configured to produce various sounds when activated.

Abstract: A specially designed potty chair having interactive features including a timer that ensures the child will remained seated for an adequate amount of time, as well as which congratulate and reward the child upon using the facilities. The Musical Timer Training Potty may also feature an attachable activity tray that will entertain the child when seated. Design intent is to provide a simple and effective means of potty training infants and toddler children by providing positive reinforcement and entertainment that encourages the child in proper use of the potty.

A first arm may comprise a communication subassembly, allowing for the user to send radio communications. The first and second arms may pivot about its connection to the support band. A second arm comprises a shield subassembly, whereby the shield subassembly may completely cover the mouth and nose of the user to prevent the exit and entrance of airborne particles. The shield assembly may comprise a medical-grade material disposed between two layers of plastic. The shield assembly may be disposable.

Abstract: A hearing aid service system includes an Internet enabled personal communication device and one or more hearing aids provided with respective transceivers for establishing a wireless connection, whereby the personal communication device becomes a gateway for the hearing aids to a remote server. Each hearing aid includes a processor controlling the operation of the hearing aid, and a memory containing program code for at least one add-on program for the operation of the hearing aid. The server manages user accounts for a plurality of hearing aid users, including managing subscription status for the add-on program. The server creates a subscription status change event for the account upon change of the subscription status for the at least one add-on program and sends a status change instruction to the hearing aids for enabling or disabling one or more of the add-on programs by using the communication device as gateway.

Abstract: An acoustic metamaterial passive impedance matching device for use in matching the acoustic impedance of a loudspeaker is disclosed. The device includes a baffle having an upper end and a lower end, plates stacked concentrically from the upper end to the lower end, slots positioned between the plates, a side channel extending annularly around a circumference of at least one of the plates, and a spoke interconnecting the plates. Each of the plates includes a central region including perforations. Each of the slots is positioned between two adjacent plates. The side channel defines a chamber including a height greater than the height of the plates and an interior volume enclosing a predetermined volume of air. The side channels and the perforated plates generate an acoustic impedance that matches the complex conjugate acoustic impedance of the loudspeaker to deliver maximum acoustic power. The side channels may include open ends, closed ends, or both for providing an inductive or reactive capacitance.

Abstract: A spa cover constructed of layers of pliable insulation encapsulated within a weatherproof vinyl reinforced fabric or a rubber membrane which is attached to rigid square support tubes that run parallel to the short end of the spa. The encapsulated insulation is fastened to the bottom of the square support tubes with corrosion-free nylon anchors which allows the soft insulation assembly to span over the water and rest directly on the spa bartop surface sealing the heat in and keeping debris out. An arched fiberglass rod structure supports a weatherproof rainfly which is permanently affixed to the flat cover assembly to shed rain and debris. The entire assembly is held in place at each end with adjustable straps which stretch the cover from end to end keeping the rainfly taut. Removing the cover to access the spa involves undoing the straps on one end and rolling the cover assembly towards the other end until the desired amount of spa exposure is reached.

Abstract: A sewage discharge device detachably and hermetically connected to a sewage tank includes a drain pipe and a main box body. A drain control valve and a self-priming drain pump are provided inside the main box body. One end of the drain control valve is detachably and hermetically connected to the drain pipe. The other end of the drain control valve is detachably and hermetically connected to the self-priming drain pump. The self-priming drain pump is provided with a drain nozzle and a cleaning coupling. The drain nozzle is detachably and hermetically connected to a sewage pipe. The drain nozzle and the cleaning coupling protrude outside the main box body. The sewage discharge device of the present invention prevents users from contacting fecal matter and wastewater. Manual cleaning of the drain pipe is also eliminated, which is convenient to use.
