Abstract: A disclosed system, method and computer readable storage medium includes mechanism for controlling cascade price movements in an electronic trading system. Price limits control the prices at which traders can place orders. An upper price limit prevents traders from placing orders above the upper limit and a lower price limit prevents traders from placing orders below the lower limit. The gap between the upper limit and the indicative marked price as well as the gap between lower limit and the indicative market price is controlled so as to cause a breaking effect on very rapidly changing market price.

Abstract: A verification method comprises: by a target base station, receiving a verification request packet sent by an application if a mobile phone number verification succeeds, verifying validity of the stored mobile phone number according to the verification request packet, and sending the verification request packet to an operator server if the validity of the stored mobile phone number is verified. The application is configured to: perform an account verification on account information of a to-be-verified user; perform a mobile phone number verification on a user terminal in which the application is located; send an identification code of the application and the stored mobile phone number to a back-end server of the application, and send a verification request packet to the target base station; receive the verification notification returned by the back-end server, and determine, whether the verification of the to-be-verified user succeeds; and perform a fast payment signing process.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing physical input at an automated device are described. An automated device provides a sequence of interfaces. The automated device communicates with a server to exchange data, which is used to dynamically populate one or more of the interfaces in the sequence. The interface sequences includes: a home interface providing options for performing an action using the automated device; a destination selection interface for selecting a destination account for a data transfer; a source selection interface for selecting a source account for the data transfer; a data value selection interface for receiving a data value for the data transfer; a data transfer processing interface indicating processing of the data transfer; an acknowledgement interface indicating completion of the data transfer; and a record preview interface providing a preview of a session record.

Abstract: A machine learning engine for fraud detection related to cross-location online transaction processing may be trained using artificial intelligence techniques and used according to techniques discussed herein. An account may be used to electronically process a transaction for an item in a foreign location, such as a new city or country. The transaction may be identified as potentially fraudulent based on the item and/or location of purchase. A service provider may identify a vertical, such as an item type, for the transaction, and may determine the account's propensity to purchase within that vertical in the new location and the merchant's propensity to sell within that vertical to the account's location or shipping address. Based on the propensities, the service provider may utilize one or more risk rules with a risk assessment engine to determine transaction processing risk and whether to proceed with transaction processing.

Abstract: A systems of servers and algorithms allows merchants to refund value, for example, for refunds on returned goods or for other customer satisfaction reasons. The system receives the request for credit from a merchant refund session as well as a target financial instrument associated with the customer receiving the credit. The system then creates a specialized monitor for the customer's transactions to identify transactions made with that merchant and applies the previously credited funds for purchases made at the merchant. These credits may be made in real time at the register during a purchase or via a statement credit. The credit may also be applied to partner brands associated with the merchant by expanding the scope of the monitor.

Abstract: Techniques are described for performing forensic assisting and tracing of transaction data from an automated teller machine (ATM) to detect suspicious activity and potential security threats. The techniques include a forensic assisting and tracing (FAST) ATM configured to intercept data packets including transaction data generated by the ATM; map, store, and index the transaction data; and analyze metadata for the transaction data to generate reports on the operation of the ATM for a higher-level hub server. In some examples, a plurality of FAST ATMs may be networked to the hub server such that the hub server receives reports from each of the individual FAST ATMs and analyzes the reports to identify larger, global trends of suspicious activity and potential security threats.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for interacting with smart contracts stored on a blockchain to control vehicle related activity. The systems and methods may include (1) receiving one or more transactions from one or more computing devices, the transactions associated with a particular vehicle and include a VIN for the vehicle and indicative of at least one of a trigger condition associated with the vehicle; (2) compiling the one or more transactions into a block of transactions; (3) distributing the block to a plurality of validation entities to form a consensus on an update to the distributed ledger; (4) routing the one or more transactions within the block to respective smart contracts associated with the VIN; and/or (5) automatically executing an action the particular smart contract directs should be performed in response to the particular trigger condition.

Abstract: A system and method of confirming trades of financial instruments such as OTC derivatives is disclosed. The system includes a data interface which accepts data relating to a trade from both the trader and counter party. The data includes different data fields of differing importance. The system includes a matching engine which compares the submitted data and assigns the trade a status depending on which of the data fields match. The system allows a user to filter trades on their status and display the details relating to that trade. The system also allows a user to display the data fields and change the data fields in order to change the status of the trades. The system thus allows a user to electronically confirm a trade and also identify unmatched trades and the information necessary to reconcile such unmatched trades.

Abstract: A method for managing payment vehicle data based on location information is provided. The method includes receiving at least one payment vehicle attribute of at least one payment vehicle, receiving location information specifying a geographical location for use of the at least one payment vehicle, retrieving payment vehicle data from one or more databases based on the at least one payment vehicle attribute, filtering the payment vehicle data using the location information, to exclude data that is not applicable to the geographical location, and displaying the filtered payment vehicle data to the user.

Abstract: The present embodiments are provided to facilitate the automatic trading of spreads in a fast and accurate manner. One or more market data feeds that contain market information for tradeable objects are received at an exchange. A spread data feed is generated in response to the market data feeds and from one or more spread setting parameters, which can be entered by a user. The spread data feed is preferably displayed in a spread window as bid and ask quantities associated with an axis or scale of prices. The user can enter orders in the spread window and the legs will be automatically worked to achieve, or attempt to achieve, the spread. In addition, other tools disclosed herein may be utilized to assist the user in making such trades.

Abstract: A method includes acquiring blockchain data that includes transactions between a plurality of blockchain addresses. The method includes labeling a set of the blockchain addresses as fraudulent and generating a graph data structure based on the blockchain data. The method includes calculating a set of scoring features for each blockchain address, where each set of scoring features includes a graph-based scoring feature. Calculating the graph-based scoring feature includes calculating a number of transactions associated with the blockchain address in the graph data structure. The method includes generating a scoring model using sets of scoring features for the blockchain addresses that are labeled as fraudulent and generating a trust score for each blockchain address using the scoring features and the scoring model. The trust score indicates a likelihood that the blockchain address is involved in fraudulent activity. Additionally, the method includes sending a requested trust score to a requesting device.
