  • Patent number: 11740740
Abstract: A touch field is created around a touchscreen display, the field is in front of a touch surface of the display and the field maps to locations on the display. An operator of a terminal during a transaction is presented with transaction interface screens that are visually rendered on the display. The operator makes interface options selections, performs screen navigation, and provides date entry field inputs by placing the operator's hand within the field without touching the touch surface of the display and making hand poses, hand movements, and/or hand gestures. The poses, movements, and/or gestures are translated into touch actions and touch inputs recognized by the transaction interface and processed as operator-provided input during the transaction.

  • Patent number: 11741385
Abstract: To simplify assisting a user in their day-to-day activities, a communication for performing an action may be sent to a user in the form of a query, where the query includes the most likely set of choices for the action arranged in a group of dichotomous (e.g., yes/no) or multiple choice answers. In this manner, a user may respond to the query by simply selecting one of the dichotomous or multiple choice answers. Historical logs of past actions, responses, queries, and so forth, may be used to predict future user actions or needs, and to formulate future queries for sending to the user. These techniques may be implemented, for example, through a remote coordination server or directly through a user's personal electronics device.

  • Patent number: 11698535
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for superimposing a virtual image on a real-time image. A system for superimposing a virtual image on a real-time image comprises a real-time image module and a virtual image module. The real-time image module comprises a magnification assembly to generate a real-time image of an object at a first location and a first depth, with a predetermined magnification. The virtual image module generates a virtual image by respectively projecting a right light signal to a viewer's right eye and a corresponding left light signal to a viewer's left eye. The right light signal and the corresponding left light signal are perceived by the viewer to display the virtual image at a second location and a second depth. The second depth is related to an angle between the right light signal and the corresponding left light signal projected to the viewer's eyes. • Patent number: 11698439
Abstract: Various embodiments wirelessly detect micro gestures using multiple antenna of a gesture sensor device. At times, the gesture sensor device transmits multiple outgoing radio frequency (RF) signals, each outgoing RF signal transmitted via a respective antenna of the gesture sensor device. The outgoing RF signals are configured to help capture information that can be used to identify micro-gestures performed by a hand. The gesture sensor device captures incoming RF signals generated by the outgoing RF signals reflecting off of the hand, and then analyzes the incoming RF signals to identify the micro-gesture.

  • Patent number: 11656689
Abstract: A method for single-handed microgesture input comprises receiving hand tracking data for a hand of a user. A set of microgesture targets that include software functions are assigned to positions along a length of a first finger. The received hand tracking data is analyzed by a gesture recognition machine. A location of a thumbtip of the hand of the user is determined relative to the positions along the first finger. Responsive to determining that the thumbtip is within a threshold distance of the first finger at a first position along the length of the first finger, a corresponding first microgesture target is designated for selection. Selection of the first microgesture target is enabled based on a duration the thumbtip is at the first position. Responsive to detecting a confirmation action, the corresponding microgesture target executes.
