  • Patent number: 11954190
Abstract: Biometric information is obtained from a user. A determination is made that the obtained biometric information matches at least one entry in a biometric database. In response to determining that the obtained biometric information matches the at least one entry in the biometric database, non-biometric verification information is obtained. A determination is made as to whether at least a portion of the non-biometric verification information matches at least a portion of preset non-biometric verification information associated with the user. In response to determining that the at least a portion of the non-biometric verification information matches, a determination is made that an identity of the user is verified. In response to determining that the at least a portion of the non-biometric verification information does not match, a determination is made that the identity of the user is not verified.

  • Patent number: 11893634
Abstract: A method and system may detect and correct errors in consumer reporting. A secure data file such as a Metro 2® formatted file may be obtained for a consumer that includes the consumer's credit information. A consumer reporting server may generate a non-sensitive private information (non-SPI) consumer identifier that references non-SPI consumer credit information included in the Metro 2® formatted file. Then a member of the organization may access the non-SPI consumer credit information to review the non-SPI consumer credit information and detect and correct errors. Errors may be detected by training a machine learning model using a first set of non-sensitive private information (non-SPI) consumer credit information from statements including errors and a second set of non-SPI consumer credit information from statements that do not include errors. The non-SPI consumer credit information for the consumer may be applied to the model to identify errors.

  • Patent number: 11508012
Abstract: Pursuant to some embodiments, systems, methods, apparatus and computer program code for proactive underwriting are provided. Pursuant to some embodiments, a computer implemented processing method is provided which includes identifying, by an insurance processing platform, an action by an entity that matches at least a first trigger rule. A proactive underwriting template is selected based on the at least first trigger rule, where the proactive underwriting template defines a number of data items required to complete the proactive underwriting template. The insurance processing platform is operated to automatically collect data associated with the plurality of required data items, and to perform a proactive underwriting analysis using the collected data. An underwriting determination is then rendered based on the proactive underwriting analysis.

  • Patent number: 11107082
Abstract: A method and system are provided for authorizing an electronic transaction between two entities. The method includes receiving, at a verification module, coincidentally captured facial image data relating to both of the two entities and authenticating each of the two entities based on a comparison between the coincidentally captured facial image data and respective facial image templates relating to each of the two entities enrolled in a database. The method also includes retrieving, from the database, account data relating to each of the two entities based on the coincidentally captured facial image data, on determining that each of the two entities are positively authenticated, and generating an authorization message for authorizing the electronic transaction, where the authorization message comprises the account data relating to each of the two entities retrieved from the database.

  • Patent number: 10430845
Abstract: A purchase request system efficiently procures goods and services by recognizing purchase authority levels of users within an enterprise, division, or project team. Administrators establish authority levels to ensure that purchase requests within a user's authority level are automatically processed and submitted to vendors for fulfillment of orders, while purchase requests beyond a user's authority level are routed according to a determined protocol. Determined protocols include routing the purchase request to a designated user with a different authority level for disposition, rejection of the purchase request, or modification of the purchase request in accordance with the determined protocol. Users may select from multiple payment methods to complete a purchase transaction and may access the purchasing system in real time to determine the status of an order at any point in the life cycle of the purchase request, from submission of the request to payment for received goods and services.

  • Patent number: 10002303
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for identifying in real time duplicate financial documents processed by a financial institution or check clearinghouse. A collection of hash values representative of previously processed financial documents are maintained in a memory, such as a GPU memory. When a new financial document enters the financial institution or check clearinghouse for processing, one or more features of the financial document are captured. A hash value is generated from the one or more features of the financial document. A search is performed in the collection of hash values for a matching hash value. If a match is found, a potential fraudulent event or operational error may be indicated. If a match is not found, the hash value representative of the new financial document is added to the collection of hash values.
