Abstract: A portable telephone has a positional information system unit employed to use a positional information system function for acquiring positional information, and a communication unit for transmitting/receiving the positional information to/from another terminal. The portable telephone has an address book function capable of registering telephone numbers into a storage unit by an input operation; and a control unit which operates in a manner that when a telephone communication is received, in the case that a telephone number is not notified from a telephone of a caller, or a telephone number notified from a telephone of a caller does not correspond to a telephone number registered in the storage unit, even if a signal for requesting the positional information from the telephone of the caller is received during the telephone communication, the control unit does not send the positional information.
Abstract: A network element may provide a plurality of user equipments with a dedicated pilot sequence for uplink reference signal transmission. A user equipment may, after receipt of a dedicated pilot sequence, spread the pilot sequences using a block spreading method.
Abstract: A Bluetooth earphone and an ear-hook device thereof are provided. The Bluetooth earphone includes an earphone body and an ear-hook device. The ear-hook device includes a hinge assembly and an ear hook. The hinge assembly is rotatably disposed on the earphone body. The ear hook is rotatably disposed on the hinge assembly. As a result, the ear hook is able to rotate around the earphone body on two different axes via the hinge assembly, such that a user can selectively wear the Bluetooth earphone on his or her left ear or right ear.
Abstract: Stations like mobile terminals, bases stations and network nodes comprising rake receivers with fingers require relatively many calculations to be performed for despreading a symbol. By replacing despreading multipliers, integrators and dumpers in the fingers by Hadamard transformers (62), chips of several symbols with orthogonal channelization codes can be despreaded simultaneously, and the station and the rake receiver have become more efficient. The despreading section (60 of the finger (34) comprises the Hadamard transformer (62) and a serial-to-parallel converter (61) comprising downsamplers (71-73). The station is a high-speed downlink packet access station (HSDPA) in a universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS), with a number of de-channelization codes used being at least ten percent of a despreading factor used.
