Abstract: A dispensing mechanism dispenses even doses of a substance, and comprises a base, a leverable surface, a stepper mechanism; and a space for an application substance. The levered surface is hinged at one end or is collapsible and is pressed downwards towards the base to squeeze the space to force the substance out of the cartridge. The stepper mechanism is located at the far end of the leverable surface to halt pressing at intervals corresponding to even doses of the substance. A carrier for a cartridge incorporating the dispensing mechanism comprises a housing which may be pressed to squeeze the cartridge and dispense the substance, an insertion opening through which the dispensing cartridge is inserted and a dispensing opening which lines up with a spout on the cartridge and through which the liquid is dispensed. The carrier may be attached to the wrist or to bicycle handlebars and the like.
Abstract: The present invention provides devices, systems, and methods for refilling a refillable fluid applicator, such as but not limited to a refillable dry erase marker. The devices, systems, and methods of the present invention advantageously allow the fluid applicator to be refilled quickly, easily, and inexpensively, and provide the benefit of significantly reducing the quantity of solid plastic waste associated with conventional disposable dry erase markers and other fluid applicators.
Abstract: A swimming pool assembly, including a pool body defining a top edge and an bottom connected by a wall, an access port positioned through the bottom, a first conduit connected to the access port and extending away from the body, a valve connected with the first conduit, a second conduit connected with the first conduit and extending toward the top edge, wherein the second conduit is water permeable. An actuator is positioned in the second conduit and connected to the valve. First and second water level sensors are positioned to measure ground water level and pool water level. A microprocessor is operationally connected to the water level sensors and to the actuator, wherein when the ground water level exceeds the pool water level by a predetermined amount, the microprocessor sends a signal to the actuator to open the valve.

Abstract: The present invention is an aerosol container with an easy-to-operate push button which requires minimal strength to operate push button and hence operable by children and people having less strength. Aerosol container includes a main body, a nozzle, a pipe and an actuating mechanism. Actuating mechanism includes a valve operable by a push button and a release spring. Valve is in connection with an internal body portion of pipe and selectively permits flow of aerosol from main body to nozzle upon actuation of push button disposed in-line with valve, transverse to pipe and externally of main body. As push button is disposed centrally of main body, children or people with less strength or suffering from illness like Parkinson are easily able to push the push button.
