  • Patent number: 7484642
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a metered volume of a fluid product having a storage chamber for storing the fluid product, an outlet orifice through which the fluid product is dispensable from the dispenser and a metering chamber is disclosed. The metering chamber has an outlet opening which places the metering chamber in fluid communication with the outlet orifice, a transfer opening through which the fluid product is transferable between the storage and metering chambers, and a boundary wall structure which is cyclically movable between a first configuration, in which the transfer opening is opened, and a second configuration, in which the transfer opening is closed. Each cycle of movement which commences at, and ends in, the second configuration results in a metered volume of the fluid product being transferred from the storage chamber to the metering chamber via the transfer opening and dispensed from the outlet orifice via the outlet opening.

  • Patent number: 7481335
Abstract: A variably proportional mixing device is provided for automatically mixing two fluids stored in separate containers in various ratios without measuring, comprising means for selecting one of a plurality of predetermined mix ratios for the two fluids, and a means for controlling the flow of each fluid from the separate containers so as to achieve a mix ratio that corresponds to the selected ratio. In the preferred embodiment, the means for controlling comprises a trigger operated flow control cylinder which controls the flow of fluid from the first container and the second container, and a ratio cylinder including a channel therethrough having a variable cross-sectional area, the rotation of which using the selecting means varies the flow rate of the fluid from the second container into the flow of fluid from the first container. A static mixer is provided for mixing the two fluids in the spout of the device.

  • Patent number: 7464839
Abstract: One disadvantage during delivery of products such as foams, for instance shaving foam or gel, self-foaming products and other products that are applied with a pressurized system from a conventional, pressurized dispenser container with the aid of known dispenser heads that can be inserted into the delivery valve of the dispenser container is that the pressurized product remaining in the delivery channel continues to be pressed out in small amounts in an uncontrolled manner after utilization despite the fact that the delivery valve is closed. In order to eliminate said disadvantage, the dispenser head (1) is configured with an additional closing device (1?) that automatically opens the delivery hole (3) and automatically closes it after the dispensing process is completed.

  • Patent number: 7464837
Abstract: The present invention relates to personal hydration systems. The personal hydration system comprises a first chamber, a second chamber, and a delivery tube. The delivery tube is housed within the second chamber, and one end of the delivery tube is connected to the first chamber. A retraction member is connected at one end to the first or second chamber. The other end of the retraction member is connected to the delivery tube. A user accesses the fluid in the hydration system by pulling the delivery tube out of the second chamber through an opening, drinking the fluid through a mouthpiece and then releasing the delivery tube. The retraction member automatically causes the delivery tube to be retracted back into the second chamber. The system also includes a tether for preventing the delivery tube from being pulled too far.
