Abstract: A guitar control system using multiple string processing channels for developing pitch and peak signals for a multiple of string vibrations. Pitch data is multiplexed into a microprocessor along with the peak data and the programmed microprocessor outputs processed sound information on an address/data buss. Midi input/output, analog input/output and counter circuitry are interactively connected with the data buss, and final audio processing is derived from the analog output.
Abstract: A keyboard instrument is provided, comprising a keyboard housing having a top and a bottom; a handle attached to and extending from the bottom of the keyboard housing; a keyboard having a plurality of keys operatively attached to the top of the housing; a plurality of keyboard controls, mounted on the keyboard housing; a sound component housing; at least one speaker mounted in the sound component housing; a synthesizer, mounted within the sound component housing; and keyboard, sound component and communications circuitry. The instrument may include a volume expression control mounted in the handle, enabling user to control volume expression while maintaining the instrument in a horizontally oriented plane.
Abstract: In a MIDI signal processor for use with a CD player, MIDI data is extracted from predetermined subcode frame of a digital output signal of the CD player. The extracted MIDI data is rearranged into a set of bytes. A predetermined start bit is added to a head of each of the MIDI data bytes. A predetermined stop bit is added to an end of each of the MIDI data bytes. The MIDI data bytes with the start and stop bits are outputted in a serial manner.
