Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a containment of pulp material that reduces reliance on adhesives and polymers. The containment is of two preformed semi-cylinders that linked together by using a preformed raised ridge that slots into a trough on the opposing half. The containment may optionally include a biopolymer based internal layer to provide a sealed containment. The present disclosure also concerns a cap for the containment with a narrowed wall and a recess to retain a lid liner with notched walls that allow for expansion at the closed end.

Abstract: An embodiment provides a device for covering a food product during cooking, including: a main body including a flexible material and having a thickness dimension, wherein the thickness dimension is less than ten millimeters, wherein the flexible material includes silicon; at least one protrusion on the main body protruding in a parallel direction with the thickness dimension of the main body, wherein the at least one protrusion includes a ball portion and a stem portion, wherein the ball portion is located on top of the stem portion and wherein the ball portion has a greater diameter than the stem portion; at least one receiving portion within the main body for receiving the at least one protrusion and having a diameter at least equal to the diameter of the stem portion of the protrusion; and at least one opening within the main body.

Abstract: The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to a modular light, fixture body, junction box and sub assembly. The light has a central housing and can be adapted to fit with existing sockets. Further additional twist and lock components are provided, including a twist and lock luminaire body. The light can be installed without tools, and can be easily replaced, and prevents the accumulation of water within the light.

Abstract: A preform, a synthetic resin container, and a method for manufacturing a synthetic resin container in which an air passage leading from an ambient air introduction hole to a trunk can be easily preserved. In the mouth, the inner body includes a large-diameter portion provided at an upper end thereof, and a small-diameter portion continuously extending below the large-diameter portion via a connecting portion. In the mouth, the outer body is provided with an ambient air introduction hole passing through the outer body, and a neck ring positioned within a height range of the small-diameter portion. The inner body is made of a crystalline resin, and a crystallized region is formed in part of the inner body, the crystallized region having a higher degree of crystallization than other regions.

The annular cassette body defines a receptacle extending around the central opening. The receptacle has an annular opening at the top end of the annular cassette body. The receptacle has a registration wall extending along a periphery of the central opening, the registration wall having a downwardly facing surface having a relief defining a pattern of protrusions and recesses having a curved outline along the periphery of the central opening. The protrusions have respective crest lines extending obliquely relative to the central axis.

Abstract: A segmented shortwise container volume apparatus that includes a primary base, a primary surrounding sidewall with an interior, a primary cap with an aperture and a sealing plug, a secondary base, a secondary surrounding sidewall with an interior, a secondary cap with an aperture and a sealing plug, and a sleeve element having a first end portion and an opposing second end portion, the sleeve element having a sleeve outer surface and an opposing sleeve inner surface, wherein the sleeve inner surface is slid over the primary and secondary surrounding sidewalls to hold the primary and secondary bases adjacent to one another, creating a single container with two separate interiors, being the primary and secondary interiors.

Abstract: A door of a reticle pod includes a window having a lens, sidewall, and a ledge. The window may be positioned or affixed internally in a door between the housing and a cover. A compressive seal may be used in conjunction with the window. The sidewalls, the ledge and the compressive seal work together to enable a compression fit in the door while maintained the desired level of protection from external contaminants.

Abstract: A resource collection apparatus is an apparatus for collecting waste reusable as a resource. The resource collection apparatus includes an opening associated with a predetermined sorting type, an opening/closing unit configured to open and close the opening, a first detector configured to perform an operation to detect a target waste belonging to a user, and a controller configured to specify a sorting type into which the target waste is to be sorted, by using a result of the detection by the first detector. The controller switches the opening/closing unit from a closed state to an open state when the specified sorting type matches the sorting type associated with the opening.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to various packaging devices or arrangements and the blanks configured to form the inner and outer packages that make up the devices. The blanks typically include a plurality of panels that are folded and bonded together to define a compartment when formed into a package. The compartment may be employed to store a consumable product, such as cartridges for an aerosol delivery device. Related methods for forming the blanks into the packages are also provided.

Abstract: There is provided a system for storing and processing herbs including a container having a base and one or more sidewalls defining a volume, an aperture defined by the upper end of the one or more sidewalls, and a lid removably attached to the upper end of the container, the lid covering the aperture when the container is in a closed configuration. The lid includes an inner portion including a working surface. The working surface includes a bowl having a concave transition from a base of the bowl to a lip of the bowl, the lip of the bowl has a convex transition between the bowl and a bowl rim, and the bowl rim defines an intersection between the working surface and the external surface. The working surface also includes a channel for guiding a processed granular material out of the bowl in a focused distribution stream.

Abstract: An example lid assembly may include a lid and a slider. The lid may further include a guide channel configured to receive the slider, and the channel may limit the lateral movement of the slider. The guide channel may further include a pair of air vents. The slider may be configured to slide along the lid, from a closed position where the slider covers the opening and to an opened position in which the slider uncovers the opening such that the contents of the container may be released. The slider may be configured to lock into place in both the closed position and the opened position.

Abstract: A foam packaging assembly for protecting an article includes one or more pads including at least one corner pad and at least one side pad disposed between the corner pads, a packaging container configured to receive the article or an inner box storing the article, and a configurator determining one or more dimensions of the container based on at least one input variable of the article or the inner box. The configurator further determines a number of the pads for placement inside the container such that the article with the pads is protected during storage or transport. Further, the foam packaging assembly includes at least one insert board configured for placement over the article inside the container, and the configurator determines one or more dimensions of the insert board when the insert board is selected to be disposed inside the container.

Abstract: A wine bottle is provided with a punt at a lower end which includes a cork retainer therein. A cork can thus be stored within the cork retainer. In one embodiment, the cork retainer includes two retainer surfaces which are opposing each other horizontally, and spaced apart by a length similar to opposing portions of the cork to allow the cork to fit tightly between these retainer surfaces. Space above the retainer surfaces can hold a foil wrap with the cork within the cork retainer and holding the foil wrap in place. Full re-use of the bottle is thus facilitated. In one embodiment, the bottle has an octagonal shape so that multiple bottles can be shipped together and placed adjacent each other with flat surfaces distributing loads therebetween, without forces concentrated at points thereof, and to keep the bottles in good shape for washing, re-filling and re-use.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a composite material applied to cookware, a method for preparing the same, and a cookware thereof. The composite material includes hard granular material, silicon-containing cladding material and metallic cladding material: wherein the hard granular material is clad in the silicon-containing cladding material; the silicon-containing cladding material is clad in the metallic cladding material, and the silicon-containing cladding material includes main compositions one or more selected from the group consisting of silane, siloxane, silane polymer, and siloxane polymer. There is no toxic gas prepared after the composite material is decomposed at a high temperature. The cookware with a protective layer applied with the composite material has high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and durable cleanability, as well as safety and non-toxicity.

Abstract: The invention provides a tank feasible for cryogenic service and a method of building the tank. The tank comprises: an inner tank, thermal insulation, and an outer shell that is airtight, wherein the thermal insulation is arranged outside the inner tank and the outer shell is arranged outside the thermal insulation, further comprising a coupling through the outer shell, wherein a vacuum pump outside the tank can be coupled for suction of air and gas from the volume between the inner pressure tank and the outer shell, and further comprising an opening from outside the tank to inside the inner tank for loading and unloading of fluid, wherein the inner tank in operation contains fluid and the volume between the inner tank and the outer shell is at vacuum.
