Abstract: Techniques are described for managing execution of programs. In some situations, program execution is managed for multiple users using excess program execution capacity of one or more computing systems. In some such situations, excess or otherwise unused program execution capacity may be made available to execute programs on a temporary basis, such that the programs executing using the excess program execution capacity may be terminated at any time if other preferred use for the excess program execution capacity arises. The excess program execution capacity may in some situations be provided in conjunction with other dedicated program execution capacity that is allocated to particular users, such as to use unused dedicated capacity of some users as excess capacity for other users. In some situations, the techniques are used in conjunction with a fee-based program execution service that executes multiple programs on behalf of multiple users of the service.

Abstract: The Bid Solicitation System and Method according to the present invention solicits vendors involved with all aspects of construction materials, equipment, and services wishing to be alerted of construction projects of wide variety provided vendor capabilities meet certain parameters established by the Bid Solicitation System and Method. The vendor, after reviewing the detailed requirements including time of delivery or services, can choose whether it wishes to provide a bid to be considered. To be part of the process, the vendor is first required to fill out an extensive application and provide a reasonable amount of backup support documentation all of which is verified by the Bid Solicitation System and Method. The system then generates a Request for Bid and delivers the Request for Bid to applicable vendors that provide such item(s) to support a conventional or automated construction processes.

Abstract: A sales area management system includes an accounting device and a gate device. The accounting device acquires transaction information and executes accounting processing based on the transaction information. The accounting device receives the number of people associated with the transaction information and outputs payment completion information along with the associated number of people. The gate device includes receives the payment completion information and the associated number of people and detects the number of customers passing through the gate device. A notification control unit of the gate device causes a notification unit to indicate the remaining number of people corresponding to the associated number of people minus the detected number of people passing the gate. The gate device outputs error information when the detected number exceeds the associated number of people for the transaction.

Abstract: A system and method for tracking fiber along a textile supply chain aids in product tracking and can verify fiber source/origin. However, verifying the fiber origin and type in a textile product purchased at a retail location back to the bale is complicated by the nature of textile processes along the supply chain. The system as described in the present application addresses complications, such as contamination/cross-contamination, and is used to track fiber from bales of fiber processed into a textile product throughout a sequence of textile operations. The system captures, for each textile operation, a) input information, b) output information, and c) equipment information related to the equipment used in the textile operation. The output information is associated with the input information of a subsequent textile operation, thereby associating the input information and output information, for each textile operation, with the fiber information for the bales of fiber.

Abstract: A project cost module-based system according to the present invention gathers and summarizes the total cost of the project and organizes it into a detailed line-item format. The project cost module-based system matches up and confirms the quantity and types of all required materials, labor, and equipment. This project cost module-based system has the ability to understand the electronic design and basic schedule duration constraint data that is fed into it and knows, item by item, how to pinpoint required materials or equipment. This is done with its own built-in intelligence that is generated from a combination of historic data, basic logic, learned adjustments, barcoding, and other identification methods. Then, preferably by way of its own built-in intelligence/database or alternatively by way of other market databases, the project cost module-based system solicits pricing for that material.

Abstract: Rule data sets are received. These rule sets are associated with constraints controlling how records that are associated with the goods are consolidated. These goods are to be received for importing. An estimate score indicative of the risk for inspection for a first set of goods that are to be imported is generated. Based at least in part on the rule data sets and the generated estimate, a plurality of records are consolidated to a single instance for the first set of goods. Based on the consolidating, a user interface is caused to be generated that renders information associated with the consolidating.

Abstract: Real-time prevention of misappropriation and/or exposure assessment posed by a transaction at a POS terminal, especially those transactions in which it is not possible to otherwise definitively determine that a user/transactor is present at the POS terminal. AI is relied on, such as, a neural network implementing sequence modeling, to predict the likelihood that a user/transactor is present at the POS terminal. Location of a user is tracked via a designated mobile communication device and in instances in which a location of the mobile communication cannot be identified at the time of the transaction, the invention performs analysis based at least on the last-in-time location of the mobile communication device, the user's travel route leading up to the last-in-time location of the mobile communication device and other factors to predict a likelihood that the user is located at the POS terminal.

Abstract: Examples for enabling off-network transactions to be performed and securely managed are provided. An example system may include a data network, a digital ledger server, a blockchain platform, smart payment devices, and point of sale devices. Each respective point of sale device and each respective smart device may be operable to perform an off-network transaction, and store information related to the transaction in a digital ledger coupled to each respective device. When a transaction is executed between a POS device and a smart payment device, the POS device and smart payment device exchange a record of all off-network transactions that each respective device has executed since the last time a connection was made to the data network. When a network connection is established for each device, the respective information stored in the digital ledger is uploaded to the blockchain platform for storage and the digital ledger server for transaction resolution.

Abstract: Systems and method for managing airport lounges is described. In one non-limiting example, a system is configured to track a location of various client devices within a particular airport lounge based on detecting a wireless connection between the client devices and a wireless network for a predefined area of the particular airport lounge. The system estimates a stay length for each of the client devices within the particular airport lounge and determines an available capacity for the airport lounges. An access request is received from an airport lounge application executed on a client device. A subset of the plurality of airport lounges are determined to be accessible for a user of the client device. The subset of the plurality of airport lounges is communicated to the client device.

Abstract: A computerized-method for generating a dataset for a Machine Learning (ML) model for an increased accurate financial crime detection from an initiation stage of the ML model implementation. The computerized-method includes retrieval of financial transaction records from a database of financial transaction records to arrange a dataset of financial transaction records, according to preconfigured techniques. Then, processing the records in the dataset; Then, operating feature engineering on preselected anomalous related features to yield probabilistic categorical features and to yield probabilistic numerical features, and then combining the probabilistic categorical features with the probabilistic numerical features to generate a complex features dataset, and providing the probabilistic categorical features, the probabilistic numerical features and the complex features dataset to an ML model, thus, increasing accuracy of detection that is performed right from an initiation stage of the ML model implementation.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for continuously monitoring the health of a point-of-sale (POS) device, at a central location, and executing self-healing software from the malfunctioning POS device. The self-healing software may be stored locally on the POS device itself, occupying a small footprint and therefore easily be stored in and execute on both older and newer POS devices. Embodiments further describe a central server as coordinating both identification of the particular self-healing process to execute on each POS device as well as the timing of execution associated therewith.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system for transmitting receipt information using a mobile terminal. The receipt information transmitting system comprises: a merchant terminal ID provider configured to store a merchant terminal ID; a mobile terminal of a user configured to acquire the merchant terminal ID from the merchant terminal ID provider and to generate a first message for requesting receipt information including the acquired merchant terminal ID; a receipt information transmission server configured to receive the first message from the mobile terminal and to generate a second message for requesting the receipt information; and a merchant terminal configured to receive the second message from the receipt information transmission server and to transmit the receipt information to the receipt information transmission server, in response to the second message, wherein the receipt information transmission server transmits the receipt information received from the merchant terminal to the mobile terminal.

Abstract: A point of sales (POS) system includes a server configured to store a list of commodities registered for purchase in association with identification information about a customer and a terminal comprising first and second scanners through which a commodity code is read. The terminal is configured to acquire identification information, upon reading of a commodity code through the first scanner, transmit first data including the commodity code and the identification information to the server, and upon reading of a commodity code through the second scanner, transmit second data including the commodity code and the identification information to the server. The server is configured to, upon receipt of the first data, register the commodity having the commodity code in the first data in the list, and upon receipt of the second data, delete the commodity having the commodity code in the second data from the list.

Abstract: An identification validation system and method may include detecting that a first age restricted item has been selected for purchase at a first point of sale by a user, determining that an age validation is not enabled, requiring that the user submit an identification instrument to verify an age of the user, after the purchase is complete, prompting the user to enable the age validation feature of the mobile wallet application of the user mobile device, directing a software application loaded on the user mobile device to access at least one biometric data input functionality of the user mobile device to capture the at least one biometric of the user, and comparing biometric features of the user captured by at least one camera.
