Abstract: A washing machine includes communicator, a display, a sensor for detecting a water temperature of residual water of the washing machine, and a processor. When the water temperature is equal to or lower than a first temperature, the processor is configured to receive data regarding a temperature of an area where the washing machine is located from an application server. The processor is configured to transmit the received data regarding the temperature to a data server so that the received data regarding the temperature is transmitted to a user terminal device. When the water temperature is equal to or lower than a temperature that is lower than the first temperature, the processor is configured to display a notification regarding freezing of the washing machine. The processor is configured to transmit the notification to the application server so that the notification is transmitted to the user terminal device.

The bracket includes a body portion having a first through hole, and a detection target portion extending from the body portion to the confirmation hole and overlapping the confirmation hole.
Abstract: A pinch valve assembly has opposing pinch members for pinching oppositely against a fluid conduit sleeve and a hydraulic displacement mechanism acting on the opposing pinch members. The hydraulic displacement mechanism a hydraulic displacement push rod coupled to a first pinch member at one end and penetrating a hydraulic reservoir at an opposite end to displace hydraulic fluid therein and a pinch member push rod penetrating the hydraulic reservoir at one end and coupled to a second pinch members at an opposite end. As the first pinch member moves towards the sleeve to pinch against one side of the sleeve, the at least one hydraulic displacement push rod moves into the hydraulic reservoir to displace hydraulic fluid therein to cause the pinch member push rod to be pushed from the hydraulic reservoir under pressure to push against the second pinch member to pinch against an opposite side of the valve.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices of the various embodiments may enable distributed prefix signing by including a signature in a transitive Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) attribute of a new prefix announcement, and sending the new prefix announcement to peer components. The peer components may query an address and routing parameter area (ARPA) record to obtain nameserver information for an entity associated with the received prefix announcement in response to determining that the received prefix announcement includes a transitive BGP attribute that includes the signature, retrieve a public key from a Domain Name System (DNS) text record, and determine whether the signature included in the transitive BGP attribute of the received prefix announcement is valid based on the public key retrieved from the DNS text record.
Abstract: A method for handling of an offshore wind turbine component includes using a vessel having a hull on which a motion compensating crane is mounted. The crane includes a main boom; a main boom luffing assembly; a mobile hoist cable suspension member; and a hoist winch and a hoist cable driven by the hoist winch. An object suspension device is suspended from the hoist cable. The mobile hoist cable suspension member is supported by a motion compensating support device that is fitted to the tip end of the main boom, the motion compensating support device including one or more motor powered motion displacement actuator assemblies and a motion compensating support device controller. The method includes connecting the offshore wind turbine component to the object suspension device; and operating the motion compensating support device to provide motion compensation in at least one direction of the object suspension device and the connected offshore wind turbine component.

Abstract: A convertible shoulder bag and backpack includes: (a) a bag body defining front, back, top, bottom, first side, and second side panels; and (b) a strap defining first and second portions thereof extending between first and second pairs of connection points for connecting the first and second portions to the bag body, respectively. An interconnecting portion slidably extends between a pair of diagonally opposing connection points such that slidably increasing the length of the first portion decreases the length of the second portion and vice versa, the strap being configured to enable the convertible shoulder bag and backpack to be converted between a shoulder-bag configuration and a backpack configuration without disconnecting or reconnecting the strap. The strap may include a retractable hip belt and/or securing strap. Additionally, a tote handle may be coupled to the first and/or second portion by a length-multiplying interconnecting portion.
Abstract: A system includes a sensor, a weight sensor, and a tracking subsystem. The tracking subsystem receives an image feed of top-view images generated by the sensor and weight measurements from the weight sensor. The tracking subsystem detects an event associated with an item being removed from a rack in which the weight sensor is installed. The tracking subsystem determines that a first person or a second person may be associated with the event. In response to determining that the first or second person may be associated with the event, buffer frames are stored of top-view images generated by the sensor during a time period associated with the event. The tracking subsystem then determines, using at least one of the stored buffer frames and a first action-detection algorithm, whether an action associated with the event was performed by the first person or the second person.

Abstract: A liquid filtering bag comprises a liquid-permeable fabric and zipper. When the zipper is fully engaged, the fabric folds to form a liquid filtering bag suitable for filtering liquids. When the zipper is fully disengaged, the fabric unfolds to form a flat sheet suitable for thorough washing.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a chaff dispensing system that is provided on an aircraft. The chaff dispensing system includes a container, a dispensing assembly, a controller, and a volume of chaff material. The container has a first end, a second end, and a chamber that extends between the first and second ends, and the second end defines an ejection port. The dispensing assembly is provided on the aircraft, and the dispensing assembly is operably engaged to the container. The controller is electrically connected to the dispensing assembly. The volume of chaff material is disposed inside the chamber of the container. The volume of chaff material is dispensed by the dispensing assembly operably through the controller in metered volumes of chaff material. In addition, a first volume of chaff material may be metered at a first time and a second volume chaff material may be metered at a second time in which the second volume of chaff material is different than the first volume of chaff material.

Abstract: A system for dispensing abrasive materials includes a transfer pump configured to pump abrasive material to a metering pump configured to pump the abrasive material to an application. Dynamic interfaces within the pumps are at least partially formed by sleeved components of the pump interfacing with a seal configured to engage with the sleeved surface during relative movement between the sleeved surface and the seal. The smooth exterior surfaces of the sleeves interface with the seals to prevent abrasive particulate in the material from adhering to the sleeve, preventing the abrasive particulate from being pulled between the sleeve and the seal.
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a display in which a plurality of pixels are arranged in an array, and a generator configured to, in a first frame, generate first data corresponding to a first region of the display to display a first image in the first region of the display and, in a second frame, generate second data corresponding to a second region of the display, which includes the first region and is larger than the first region, to display a second image in the second region of the display is provided. A region of the second region is defined as a third region, a resolution of the first image and a resolution of at least the third region in the second image are different from each other.
Abstract: A thrust mount assembly includes a thrust link-lever that has a first end region, a second end region, and a fulcrum region disposed between the first end region and the second end region. A thrust link-lever may be coupled or couplable to a fulcrum body of an aft engine-mount at a fulcrum position of the thrust link-lever. When coupled to a turbomachine, the fulcrum position of the thrust link-lever may be laterally offset and/or laterally adjustable relative to an axis of rotation of the turbomachine.
