Abstract: A system for sensing water status in soil includes a porous material selected for actively proliferating root growth and a water status sensor that is hydraulically coupled to the porous material. The porous material is configured to have an area of at least 0.025 m2.
Abstract: A system to attach a luggage having a band assembly and an anchoring assembly. The system comprises an anchoring member and a connecting band. The anchoring member is designed to be securely tucked in, while the connecting band is specifically intended for attachment to the luggage. By utilizing this innovative system, users can securely fasten their luggage and enjoy a hands-free experience, allowing them to move freely without the need to constantly hold onto their belongings. This system offers a practical solution for those seeking convenience and mobility while traveling or on the go.
Abstract: A personal mirror apparatus for viewing a surface of a body of a user which is obscured from view by the user includes a mirror assembly comprising a plurality of mirror panels. The mirror panels are pivotally interconnected, and each mirror panel of the plurality of mirror panels has a reflective surface and a back surface opposing each other. The mirror assembly is positionable in a use condition wherein the plurality of mirror panels partially bound a region such that the plurality of mirror panels face the region. A light emitting assembly is coupled to the mirror assembly and is positioned to direct light away from the reflective surface of one of the plurality of mirror panels. A mount is attached to the mirror assembly and is positioned on the back surface of the first mirror panel. A handle is coupled to and extends away from the mount.
Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to an end cap for use on a self-standing structural frame, for example, a self-standing framed hammock. The hammock includes: two end bars that connect the x-shaped frames; and at least one panel of fabric suspended between the two end bars of the x-shape; wherein the panel of fabric is gathered and distributed along an end bar that is fixed to the end caps, and wherein the panel of fabric has foam padding to cover the end bar. Wherein the corner end caps have the ability to attach additional frame parts and/or accessories to the frame, and wherein the feet are extended to have two points of ground contact and extend the width of the base footprint of the frame.

Abstract: The present invention relates to seat systems, and more specifically to seat systems suitable for supporting users sitting in a cross-legged or kneeling position during activities such as meditation. Sitting closer to the ground, cross-legged, and/or kneeling enables the brain to easily enter a parasympathetic mode, providing users of the seat system a greater sense of calmness. The Multi-Angle Knee blocks (MAKs) offer a greater level of hip support for users.
Abstract: A display container includes (a) an enclosure having a container body and a lid mounted to the container body to enclose an interior chamber for storing botanical samples. The lid includes a lens defining an optical axis. The container body includes (i) an open top covered by the lid and defined by an opening, (ii) an interior base surface in the interior chamber and defined by an area smaller than that of the opening, the optical axis intersecting the base surface, and (iii) an interior sidewall surface sloping toward the base surface. The display container further includes (b) one or more scent ports extending through the lid, and (c) a port blocking member attached to the lid and movable between a closed position for blocking the scent ports and an open position for sampling an aroma of the botanical samples through the scent ports.
Abstract: A pot lid for a household cooking pot made up of a conical main body having a lid edge designed to interact with the top edge of a cooking pot or pan. The main body has a central through-opening, wherein the lid bottom side of the pot lid has a downwardly projecting spiral guide wall which extends from the lid edge to the through-opening. The pot lid has, on its lid top side, a channel which is connected to the through-opening, extends at least over part of the lid radius towards the lid edge and is open towards the lid edge.
Abstract: A frypot of a commercial deep fat fryer includes a foam deck and a front wall that is a downward extending vertical face of the frypot. The foam deck and the front wall are formed by sheet metal that has a radius bend between the foam deck of the frypot and the front wall.
