  • Patent number: 7371008
Abstract: A tamper indicating, resealable closure for a package includes first and second film layers releasably adhesively joined together such that the first and second film layers are at least partially separable when the second film layer is pulled away from the first film layer. The first film layer includes first and second tear lines formed thereon to define first and second panel sections respectively. The first panel section defines an access opening through the first film layer when it is separated along the first tear line during an initial separation of the first and second film layers. The second panel section also becomes separated from the first film layer when the second film layer is separated from the first film layer to provide an indication of an initial opening of the closure. Subsequently, the second film layer may be re-adhered to the first film layer to reseal the access opening, while the second panel section remains separated from the first film layer.

  • Patent number: 7331715
Abstract: Provided is a valve element for venting fluids, such as gas or liquids, entrapped in a packaging enclosure. The valve element includes a base element having an aperture disposed through it and a membrane having a protruding raised portion. The membrane is attached to and overlays the base element. The raised portion is selectively configurable between a concave position and a convex position by applying an external force against the apex of the raised portion. When configured in the convex position, the raised portion is spaced apart from the aperture allowing fluid communication therethrough. When configured in the concave position, the raised portion obstructs the aperture preventing fluid communication therethrough. To vent air passing through the aperture into the environment, an expandable channel for providing a clearance is provided between the membrane and the base element.

  • Patent number: 7275869
Abstract: An inner bag for a transport tank is constituted of a doubled tubular film in which a tubular film is inserted into another one. An inner bag supply-discharge opening is thermally welded to an attachment hole formed in the doubled tubular film. When thermally welding one end of the doubled tubular film, a reinforcing film is put on a two-layered portion constituted only of an outer tubular film, so that the two-layered portion has the same thickness as a four-layered portion constituted of the outer and inner tubular films. Thereby, the whole thermal welding line has approximately uniform thickness such that the thinner portion dose not exist. This will prevent the deterioration in sealing property, strength and durability of the thermal welding line caused by rubbing of the thinner portion during transporting and or the application of welding energy to the thinner portion.

  • Patent number: 7232048
Abstract: This device is noteworthy in that it comprises two elements of positional control and adjustment made using manual remote controls that are independent of one another and that allow the position of a back frame to be adjusted with respect to a carrying harness. The first element allows the back frame to be raised with respect to the harness and the second element allows the back frame to be lowered with respect to the harness. The back frame is designed to receive an endless belt arranged in its median longitudinal plane. The belt is secured by a strand to the carrying harness allowing the back frame to move relative to the harness via the positional control and adjustment elements. A locking mechanism tensioned by the second control element acts and locks the endless belt in position or releases it according to the desired phases of movement.
