  • Patent number: 11683235
Abstract: A control device may be configured to delay an attachment procedure while attachment messages are being transmitted over the network. The control device may be configured to initiate an attachment procedure with a router device on a network at the end a back-off period of time. The attachment procedure may include transmitting attachment messages (e.g., parent request messages) that enable the control device to transmit and receive messages over the network through the router device. During the back-off period of time, the control device may determine an attachment message is received from another control device on the network. And, if an attachment message (e.g., a parent request messages and/or a link request message) is received from another control device, the control device may increase the back-off period of time (e.g., delaying when the control device initiates its attachment procedure).

  • Patent number: 11664886
Abstract: A routing method and apparatus for SDN-based LEO satellite network are disclosed. The LEO satellite network includes a control plane and a data plane. The control plane includes a central controller and a plurality of local controllers. The data plane includes a plurality of LEO satellite nodes and user terminals connecting to the LEO satellite nodes. The control plane may be located on the earth, and thus the centralized management and control of the data plane are placed on the earth. A local controllers monitors LEO satellite nodes in a subnet or subnets of the local controller. The distance between a local controller and a LEO satellite node is much smaller than the distance between a GEO satellite node and the LEO satellite node, and thus the time delay and the traffic loss of communication are reduced.

  • Patent number: 11664941
Abstract: A system and method for data coding and transmission for improving a retry mechanism are disclosed. A system and method allow the receiver to perform decoding based on increased data bits rather than by repeatedly processing the same retransmitted information, thereby reducing the number of retries and improving the performance of a communication system. Also, with the reduced number of retries, the computing costs of the electronic devices used in the communication systems are reduced. When mobile devices are often used in wireless communication, this is particularly advantageous since the battery life of these devices is significantly improved. Moreover, the system and method provide incremental data transmission and therefore optimize the utilization of channel bandwidth.

  • Patent number: 11588565
Abstract: System recognition is performed on devices connected to an identical system without recognizing a device of a different system as a device of the identical system in high-frequency communication. In a device network system, in a state in which a first device group is set in advance as a physically connectable system or in a state in which the first device group is recognized as a physically connectable system, in a case where the first device group or a second device detects occurrence of a state in which the second device outside the system is recognized as belonging to the system, the first device group or the second device causes the second device to leave the system. As a result, a network can be normally maintained even in high-frequency communication.

  • Patent number: 11582153
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of load-balancing establishment of connections among groups of connector servers in a public computer network by performing operations that include receiving a connection request from a connector client in a private computer network, requesting establishment of a connection between the connector client and one of the connector servers in the public computer network. A number of connections between the private computer network and each group is determined. An identified group is selected from the groups based at least in part on a number of connections between the private computer network and the identified group being less than or equal to a number of connections between the private computer network and each other group. The connection request is provided toward the identified group, which enables establishment of the connection between the connector client and a connector server in the identified group.
