Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating cancer, comprising extracts of Anemone raddeana and Lonicera species containing a high concentration of antitumor saponins, and a method for preparing the same, wherein saponins contained in the extracts of Anemone raddeana and Lonicera species, are converted to anticancer saponins having high antitumor activity, thereby producing extracts containing a high concentration of the antitumor saponins, and the extracts thus prepared have been confirmed to show desirable antitumor activity. Accordingly, the extracts containing a high concentration of antitumor saponins of the present invention are promising for use in the development of drugs for cancer treatment.
Abstract: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of a stress disease and depression, the pharmaceutical composition be safely useable without toxicity and side effects by using an extract of leaves of Vaccinium bracteatum Thunb., which is natural resource of Korea, so that the reduction of manufacturing and production costs and the import substitution and export effects can be expected through the replacement of a raw material for preparation with a plant inhabiting in nature.

Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of health care products or foods and provides the use of a ginseng alcohol extract in sleep-promoting health care products or foods. Through analysis utilizing DAM2 drosophila behavior monitoring system, it is found that the ginseng alcohol extract can increase total sleep duration of normal and sleep deprived drosophilae, and relieve sleep rhythm disorder caused by sleep deprivation. Through a climbing experiment, it is found that the ginseng alcohol extract can improve the climbing ability of normal and sleep deprived drosophilae. The ginseng alcohol extract, on the one hand, improves the quality of sleep to protect the steady state of sleep rhythm, and on the other hand, increases the motive ability after sleep. The ginseng alcohol extract of the present disclosure is intended to be used to sleep-promoting health care products or healthy foods and improve the quality of sleep.
Abstract: A biologically active food additive for normalizing the function of the thyroid gland comprises roots or rhizome or the above-ground part of white cinquefoil, or a mixture thereof, purple echinacca and laminaria, with the following ratio of components in mass %: 10-75 of white cinquefoil, 10-50 of purple echinacea and 10-80 of laminaria. The technical result of the invention is the showing of increased efficacy in treating thyroid gland disorders and enhancing the body's immune status, with no side of effects.

Abstract: The present invention provides a tablet of sporoderm-removed Ganoderma lucidum spore, which includes the following raw materials by weight parts: 13-20 parts of an aqueous extract of sporoderm-disrupted Ganoderma lucidum spore powder, 3-5 parts of sorbitol, and 0.8-1.2 parts of povidone K30; A method for preparing the tablet of sporoderm-removed Ganoderma lucidum spore includes the following steps: mixing the aqueous extract of sporoderm-disrupted Ganoderma lucidum spore powder, sorbitol and povidone K30 for 10-30 min, and subjecting the obtained mixture to granulating, screening and drying to obtain a granular material; and tableting the granular material to obtain the tablet of sporoderm-removed Ganoderma lucidum spore. The tablet of sporoderm-removed Ganoderma lucidum spore has a much higher content of active components, which are also easier to be absorbed.

By eluting the anthocyanins from the cation exchanger by means of L-arginine, the process has the advantage that no salt needs to be purified from the eluate to produce an extract powder suitable for use as a dietary supplement.

Abstract: A method for improving body shape and improving skin condition using a noni fruit ferment is provided, and the method includes: administrating a composition to a subject in need thereof. The composition includes an effective amount of noni fruit ferment. Abstract: Disclosed is a method for preparing bitter Ganoderma lucidum spore powder, and relates to the field of drugs or health care products. The method includes: removing visible impurities from Ganoderma lucidum spores, conducting ice bath and heating extraction, filtering through a microfiltration membrane, sterilizing by drying, and conducting sporoderm disruption to obtain the bitter Ganoderma lucidum spore powder. The preparation method effectively improves the content of the bitter substances in the Ganoderma lucidum spore powder by removing shriveled spores through multiple times of impurity removal and filtration in combination with the manner of conducting sporoderm disruption after extraction. Taking the total Ganoderma lucidum triterpenoids in the Ganoderma lucidum spores as a representative of the bitter substances, the content of the total Ganoderma lucidum triterpenoids can reach 5-8%. Meanwhile, the preparation method can also make the content of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides reaching 6-10%.
