  • Patent number: 11410167
Abstract: A system includes a first module that asynchronously communicates with a second module. The first module processes a set of digital transactions and transmits instructions for the second module to process the same set of digital transactions. The first module maintains a first aggregated hash value corresponding to the set of digital transactions that have been processed. The first aggregated has value is calculated using a commutative and associative hash function. The second module maintains a second aggregated hash value corresponding to a second set of digital transactions processed by the second module. The first and second aggregated hash values are compared to determine the second module processed the same digital transactions as the first module.

  • Patent number: 11410161
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for executing a transaction includes receiving, by a card network computer system, an identification number, the identification number being received from an acquirer processor computer system after having been routed from a mobile wallet computer system, via a user device and a merchant computer system, to the acquirer processor computer system. The method also includes transmitting, by the card network computer system, the identification number back to the mobile wallet computer system. The method also includes receiving, by the card network computer system, from the mobile wallet computer system, an approval of the transaction, the approval being generated by the mobile wallet computer system based on a match of the identification number transmitted by the mobile wallet computer system to the user device and the identification number received by the mobile wallet computer system from the card network computer system.

  • Patent number: 11392937
Abstract: To facilitate conducting a financial transaction via wireless communication between an electronic device and another electronic device, the electronic device determines a unique transaction identifier for the financial transaction based on financial-account information communicated to the other electronic device. The financial-account information specifies a financial account that is used to pay for the financial transaction. Moreover, the unique transaction identifier may be capable of being independently computed by one or more other entities associated with the financial transaction (such as a counterparty in the financial transaction or a payment network that processes payment for the financial transaction) based on the financial-account information communicated by the portable electronic device.

  • Patent number: 11392939
Abstract: Embodiments are described that are directed to optimizing the provisioning of payment account credentials to mobile devices utilizing mobile wallets. In some embodiments, one of multiple provisioning schemes may be selectively chosen for payment account credential provisioning based upon a determined risk involved with a particular provisioning request. A low risk provisioning request leads to an immediate provisioning of a payment credential, whereas a provisioning request of high risk results in the provisioning request being denied. In some embodiments, medium risk provisioning requests will cause an additional user authentication to be performed before the payment account provisioning is finalized. The additional user authentication may occur using a separate communication channel than the channel in which the provisioning request was received.

  • Patent number: 11373259
Abstract: An example transaction-enabled system may include a smart contract wrapper to access a distributed ledger comprising intellectual property (IP) licensing terms corresponding to IP assets, wherein the IP licensing terms include an apportionment of royalties among owning entities in the distributed ledger. The smart contract wrapper may interpret an IP description value and an IP addition request, and, in response to the IP addition request and the IP description value, to add the apportionment of royalties corresponding to the IP description value. At least one of the plurality of IP assets comprises an instruction set and an operation on the distributed ledger provides provable access to the instruction set. A royalty apportionment wrapper apportions royalties from at least one royalty generating element to owning entities in response to the IP licensing terms.

  • Patent number: 11367071
Abstract: Technologies are shown for tracking transfer of an item on an item tracking data blockchain, where transfers of the item and the holder of the item are recorded in item tracking data blocks of the blockchain. In some examples, a verification of the item is performed for a transfer and recorded in the data block for the transfer. In other examples, the blockchain stores a unique code for the ticket. Transfers of the ticket are recorded in the blockchain. When the ticket is presented for use, a holder identifier and a presented ticket code are validated against a holder identifier in the most recent block in the blockchain and the unique code for the ticket stored in the blockchain. In some examples, a portion of a resale price of the ticket is sent to an issuer of the ticket.
