  • Patent number: 10874803
Abstract: Drive systems for a drug delivery device are provided. The drive systems can be positioned within a container that stores a liquid drug to be delivered to a user. The drive systems can be coupled to a plunger positioned within the container. The drive systems can be incrementally advanced to drive the plunger further into the container, thereby expelling a portion of the stored liquid drug from the container for delivery to the user. The container can be any type of container including a pre-filled, standardized drug cartridge. The drive systems and container can be components of a wearable drug delivery device.

  • Patent number: 10702662
Abstract: A syringe needle shield that includes a first part and a second part. The first part is connected to the second part by a pivotable first connection portion. The second part is pivotable on the first connection portion toward the first part, and a needle hub is clamped between the first and second parts. The first and second parts are securely connected to each other by the first snapping portion which cannot be unlocked from each other. The first part is connected to a needle shield by a flexible plate. The shield receives a push force from its back so as to move from a first position to a second position. When the shield is located at the second position, a restriction portion is fixedly engaged with an engaging portion.
