The present invention relates to a silicon nitride powder for a mold release material of a mold for casting a polycrystalline silicon ingot characterized in that the percentage of primary particles of granular crystals monodispersed in powders is not less than 95% in terms of the area ratio calculated by analysis of an SEM image.
Abstract: A method of laminating a surface of a flexible material to a surface of a rigid, curved material. The method includes pressing an area of the surface of the flexible material into the surface of the rigid, curved material with a holder to create a contact area while the flexible material is conformed to the holder, which has a curvature greater than a curvature of the rigid, curved material surface; and changing the contact area between the surface of the flexible material and the surface of the rigid, curved material while maintaining pressure on the contact area until the surface of the flexible material and the surface of the rigid curved material are laminated.

Abstract: Methods of producing cellulosic or lignocellulosic materials for use in papermaking include treating a cellulosic or lignocellulosic dry feedstock having a first average molecular weight with ionizing radiation, and controlling the dose of ionizing radiation such that the average molecular weight of the feedstock is reduced to a predetermined level. A method of producing an irradiated paper product includes treating a paper product including a first carbohydrate-containing material having a first molecular weight with ionizing radiation, and controlling the dose of ionizing radiation so as to provide an irradiated paper product with a second carbohydrate-containing material having a second molecular weight higher than the first molecular weight. Pulp and paper products are produced.
Abstract: A method for processing a lignocellulose material, comprises the following steps: (1) crushing and sieving the lignocellulose material, and collecting granules with a particle size of between 0.08 and 0.1 mm; (2) mixing the granules obtained in step (1) with water, and dispersing through a colloid mill to yield a suspension with a particle size of 40-80 ?m; (3) homogenizing the suspension obtained in the step (2) under high pressure to have a particle size of between 10 and 40 ?m; and (4) buffering the suspension obtained in the step (3) with a buffer solution of sodium acetate and acetic-acid, adding cellulase, ?-glucosidase, and xylanase, and performing zymolysis for 36-72 hours.

Abstract: A powder press has an upper yoke, a lower yoke, and a tension element that is in effect between the upper yoke and the lower yoke, as well as a die accommodation plate that is guided along the tension elements. The plate can be displaced parallel to the tension element, via a punch that supports itself on the upper yoke or the lower yoke, or to which pressure can be applied. The punch accommodates a die plate provided on an adapter and includes at least a cylinder and/or a piston disposed in the cylinder, to which hydraulic pressure can be applied in the cylinder. The powder press has a particularly compact construction if the cylinder and/or the piston surrounds a passage opening through the die accommodation plate or through the upper or lower yoke and/or a tension element.

Abstract: The method and arrangement is for adding treatment liquor to comminuted cellulose material, preferably wood chips, during the manufacture of chemical pulp in a continuous process. The process uses a down-flow vessel where chips are descending down the vessel in a plug-flow and where treated chips are continuously fed out at the bottom of the vessel. By arranging more than two parallel pipes offset from the center of the vessel a better distribution of treatment liquor is obtained. Any disturbance of the chip plug flow descending down the vessel is reduced to a minimum.

Abstract: A method was developed for: a) improving the filterability of acid-precipitated lignin from kraft black liquors, b) increasing the dry solids content of the final lignin product, c) reducing the acid requirements and d) minimizing or eliminating TRS emissions during the acidification of black liquor to produce lignin and/or the subsequent suspension of the lignin in acid and/or the washing of the lignin with acid. No major difference in the chemical composition, MWD and main functional groups was found in the lignin of the present invention compared with lignins produced by conventional methods.
