Abstract: A barrel assembly for a composite structure includes a barrel of composite material, a first end ring, and a mid support. The barrel of composite material has a first end, an interior surface and an outer surface, and the first end ring is removably attached to the first end. The first end ring has a perimeter that is substantially congruent with the first end, and is configured to maintain a shape of the barrel. The mid support is removably disposed within the barrel, and has a plurality of spokes extending outwardly from a central hub to contact the interior surface, to maintain a shape of the barrel.

Abstract: Machines and system for 3D printing are disclosed. One machine includes a machine frame having a plurality of ground engaging elements to facilitate movement of the machine frame, a telescoping boom pivotably coupled to the machine frame and configured to pivot along at least a horizontal plane, a material line coupled to the boom and configured to convey a material therethrough, a printhead coupled to the boom and in fluid communication with the material line to receive the material and to dispense the material, and a controller configured to receive 3D printing information and to convert the 3D printing information into positional coordinates of the printhead, wherein the controller is to cause movement of the boom to position the printhead based at least on the position coordinates.

Abstract: A control system for an implement associated with a machine, the machine operating on a work surface lying in a surface plane, is disclosed. The system includes a base plate attached to the machine, the base plate establishing a plate plane and the orientation of the plate plane alters with changes in orientation of the base plate. The system may further include an orientation leveling system which includes an orientation sensor, one or more plate actuators for altering orientation of the base plate, and an electronic controller. The electronic controller is configured to determine if the plate plane is substantially parallel with the surface plane and actuate the one or more actuators to alter orientation of the base plate to position the base plate such that the plate plane is substantially parallel with the surface plane, if the plate plane is not substantially parallel with the surface plane.

Abstract: An exemplary atomizer includes an atomizing sleeve, an air pipe received in the atomizing sleeve, a mouthpiece assembly arranged at one end of the atomizing sleeve, and an atomizing assembly received in the atomizing sleeve. The atomizing sleeve and the air pipe cooperatively define a sealed liquid reserving chamber for reserving tobacco liquid. The atomizing assembly includes a liquid obstruction cover and a glass fiber core. The liquid obstruction cover includes a sidewall. The sidewall and the atomizing sleeve cooperatively defining a gap. The glass fiber core is fixed by the sidewall, and two opposite ends of the glass fiber core are both positioned in the gap. The glass fiber core is configured for absorbing the tobacco liquid in the liquid reserving chamber through the gap.

The amino acid acetate salt and glycerine stabilize the triacetin in order to maintain the structural firmness of the tow material.

Abstract: A spool assembly comprising a housing structure, a spool rotatably retained in an interior region of the housing structure, and a sealed sheath encasing the housing structure to define a barrier for the encased housing structure and the rotatably retained spool. The spool assembly further comprises a locking arm disposed outside of the sealed sheath and configured to operably engage the spool through the sealed sheath and through the housing structure in a manner that does not penetrate the sealed sheath, where the locking arm prevents the spool from rotating relative to the housing mechanism when operably engaged with the spool. The locking arm may disengage from the spool in a hands-free manner when the spool assembly is loaded into a bay of an additive manufacturing system.

The mixing device includes a mixing housing which encloses the tobacco and additive to form a mixing chamber in which the tobacco and additive are mixed and a gas stream unit which is operatively connected to the mixing housing and configured to provide a gas stream which moves the tobacco and additive through the mixing chamber.

Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic cigarette and an atomizer assembly mounting base thereof. The atomizer assembly mounting base used for an electronic cigarette, includes an elastic body engaging with an inner sidewall of a housing of the electronic cigarette, and a rigid support for supporting an atomizer assembly of the electronic cigarette. The elastic body defines a first central hole, and the rigid support is inserted into the first central hole. By virtue of the combination of the elastic body and the rigid support, on one hand, two spaces divided by the atomizer assembly mounting base in the housing of the electronic cigarette are not isolated completely, on the other hand, the rigid support provides better support for the atomizer of the electronic cigarette.

Abstract: An apparatus or three dimensional (3D) printer is provided for generating a 3D object. The apparatus includes a print chamber and a liquid print matrix such as a photo-curing resin positioned in the print chamber. The apparatus includes an optical assembly focusing light into the print chamber in the form of a real image whose light initiates curing processes for a volume of the liquid print matrix to form the 3D object. The light focused into the print chamber has a wavelength within a wavelength curing range for the photo-curing resin. The real image may be formed using an optical assembly reflecting or redirecting and focusing light reflected from outer surfaces of an existing 3D object. The real image may also be provided in the form of a volumetric image displayed by a volumetric display device displaying planes of a 3D digital model or image of a 3D object.
