  • Patent number: 12143290
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device obtains quality of experience metrics for an online application whose traffic traverses a particular interface of a router located at a first site in a network. The device identifies a correlation between throughput of the particular interface and the quality of experience metrics for the online application. The device makes a determination that the correlation is a root cause of degradation of the quality of experience metrics for the online application at least in part by determining whether throughput of an interface of a remote router located at a second site in the network is correlated with the quality of experience metrics. The device configures, based on the determination, a priority queue associated with the particular interface for use by traffic of the online application.

  • Patent number: 12143235
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for automatically controlling a participant indication request based on a context of a meeting. The controlling of the participant indication request includes automatic lowering of a raised hand. A context determiner determines the context of the meeting based on meeting data including video, audio, background acoustic data, and chat messaging. The context determiner uses a global participant indication model for determining a context that is in commonly used among participants of the meeting. An individual participant indication model captures participant-specific rules of determining a context. A meeting state manager determines a meeting state based on the context. The meeting state includes a host presentation, a participant presentation, a conversation, and a polling. A participant indication controller automatically lowers the raised hand based on a combination of the determined context and the meeting state.

  • Patent number: 12132623
Abstract: A method includes subscribing, by an agent, to telemetry flow data from each network device of a plurality of network devices and receiving, by the agent, a plurality of streams of telemetry flow data from the plurality of the network devices. Each of the plurality of streams corresponds to a different one of the plurality of network devices. The method further includes aggregating, by the agent, data from at least one stream of the plurality of streams of the telemetry flow data received over a period of time and, at the end of the period of time and/or when the data from the at least one stream exceeds a data threshold, sending, by the agent, the aggregated telemetry flow data to a network analyzer device.

  • Patent number: 12095644
Abstract: A network device transmits, to a server, information of an event that has occurred in the network device, compares, with each of a first threshold and a second threshold greater than the first threshold, a metric that corresponds to a state of the network device pertaining to the event, and switches a method of communicating with the server based on the comparison. When the metric exceeds the first threshold while communicating with the server in a polling method with first communication intervals and is smaller than the second threshold, the method of communicating with the server switches to a polling method with second communication intervals that are shorter than the first communication intervals, and when the metric exceeds the second threshold while communicating with the server in the polling method with the second communication intervals, the method of communicating switches with the server to a push method.

  • Patent number: 12088619
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to identity-based risk evaluation using risk scores for different identities. The disclosed techniques include a server system that provides a service usable to perform computing operations for requesting users. The system may receive a request to perform a particular computing operation from a client device. Based on a name of a user associated with the request, the system assigns an first type of identity that is a birthright identity to the user. Based on details of the request, the system assigns additional identities to the user that are different identity types than the first type of identity. The system may score, based on accessing a risk score database storing known risk information associated with different identity types, the first type of identity and the additional identities. The system may generate a response based on the scoring and transmit the response to the client device.

  • Patent number: 12081720
Abstract: Immersive 3D video content includes a plurality of preferably overlapping cells, each cell representative of a volume in the content, wherein a cell providing both content corresponding to a virtual central camera in the cell and parallax information from virtual peripheral cameras around the centre position can be next to a cell providing only parallax information to be used with the content corresponding to the virtual central camera. A device for rendering immersive video, renders a viewpoint corresponding to a user's current position, tracks and predicts the user position, and if the user position moves to a cell with central camera content, retrieves the content and parallax information, and if the user position moves to a cell with only parallax information, retrieves the parallax information and, if necessary, also the cell with the content. This arrangement can reduce bandwidth and storage for the immersive 3D video content.

  • Patent number: 12074781
Abstract: A machine selects a candidate data service to be tested for service quality. The machine performs a first-phase test of the candidate data service by providing predetermined input data to the candidate data service and measuring a first quality metric that results. The machine may determine that the candidate data service is to undergo the second-phase test based on the first quality metric, and the machine may accordingly perform the second-phase test of the candidate data service. The second-phase test may include: adding the candidate data service to a pool of five data services processing undetermined input data; routing a portion of the undetermined input data to the candidate data service; and measuring a second quality metric resultant from the candidate data service processing the routed portion. Based on the second quality metric, the machine may record whether the candidate data service is to remain in the pool.

  • Patent number: 12002268
Abstract: An amusement park monitoring system may include a plurality of sensor devices configured to acquire data related to one or more individuals within an amusement park and a memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause a processor to process the data from the plurality of sensor devices. The instructions further cause the processor to identify an activity performed by the one or more individuals based on the data and compare the activity to a behavior model. The behavior model may be indicative of one or more behavior threshold values associated with one or more amusement park attractions. The processor may then determine that the activity exceeds a behavior threshold value of the one or more behavior threshold values and initiate an action in response to the activity exceeding the behavior threshold value.
