  • Patent number: 11310142
Abstract: Network attacks are detected by a protocol engine that works in conjunction with one or more streaming protocol analyzers. The protocol engine receives network packets over a computer network and generates metadata of the network packets. The metadata are placed in a transport envelope, which is streamed over the computer network. The transport envelope is received over the computer network. After receiving the transport envelope over the computer network, the metadata are extracted from the transport envelope and provided to the one or more streaming protocol analyzers, which analyze the metadata to detect network attacks.

  • Patent number: 11301310
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for shared application interface data through a device-to-device communication session. A user may utilize a device to engage in an electronic communication session with another user, such as a shared messaging or video chat session. During the session, the user may utilize another application on the same device to perform separate application data processing, such as accessing a website or an online marketplace that may include interface output data. The user may activate a plug-in or add-on that may allow application data sharing for current application data in the separate application during the communication session. The device may determine the present application data, such as a displayable instance of the current interface data, and may transmit the data to the other user's device through the communication session. Further, the plug-in may allow for split transaction and data processing.

  • Patent number: 11265337
Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and methods for traffic inspection via embedded browsers. An application inspector module of an embedded browser executable on a client may intercept network traffic for an application. The network traffic may include packets exchanged between the application and the server via a channel. The application inspector module may identify a computing resource usage on the client in providing a user with access to the application via the embedded browser. The application inspector module may generate analytics data based on the intercepted network traffic and the computing resource usage. The application inspector module may maintain a user behavior profile based on the analytics data. The application inspector module may determine that a portion of the network traffic directed to the remote server contains sensitive information. Responsive to the determination, the application inspector module may block or remove the portion of the network traffic.

  • Patent number: 11258801
Abstract: A smart hybrid acceleration method includes receiving a handshake request from a client terminal, and determining whether the handshake request contains a self-defined resource extension field. If not, a target domain name with which the client terminal is to connect is acquired from the handshake request, and whether to use a hardware acceleration or a software acceleration is determined according to a level of the target domain name. If so, a resource level of a resource accessed by the client terminal is determined according to content in the self-defined resource extension field, and whether to use the hardware acceleration or the software acceleration is determined according to the resource level.

  • Patent number: 11252014
Abstract: A system and method for the aggregation and grouping of previously identified, causally related abnormal operating condition, that are observed in a monitored environment, is disclosed. Agents are deployed to the monitored environment which capture data describing structural aspects of the monitored environment, as well as data describing activities performed on it, like the execution of distributed transactions. The data describing structural aspects is aggregated into a topology model which describes individual components of the monitored environments, their communication activities and resource dependencies and which also identifies and groups components that serve the same purpose, like e.g. processes executing the same code. Activity related monitoring data is constantly monitored to identify abnormal operating conditions. Data describing abnormal operating condition is analyzed in combination with topology data to identify networks of causally related abnormal operating conditions.

  • Patent number: 11233763
Abstract: Methods and devices are presented for managing communications in an ephemeral communication system. In some embodiments, messages in the system are analyzed to determine a complexity value for the message. This may be based on various algorithms, models, or system associations. The complexity information may then be used to recommend an availability value for the message, and to set a deletion trigger for the message based on the recommended availability value. When criteria of the automatically set deletion trigger are met at a device receiving the message, the message is automatically deleted from the device. In some embodiments, this deletion trigger at the device may also be used to initiate deletion of the message from other parts of the system.

  • Patent number: 11228651
Abstract: Techniques for network validation are provided. A first request is received at a first manager component, from a first client. The first client and the first manager component are on a first node of a plurality of nodes, and the first request specifies a desired network service. A first network service endpoint that is capable of providing the desired network service is identified, where the first network service endpoint is on a second node of the plurality of nodes. A connection is established between a first validation agent on the first node and a second validation agent on the second node. Finally, upon determining that the connection between the first and second validation agents satisfies predefined criteria, a connection is established between the first client and the first network service endpoint.

  • Patent number: 11223541
Abstract: The present invention provides a virtual network function network element management method, apparatus, and system. A VNF resource pool management apparatus receives a VNF network element request message sent by a VNF resource pool user apparatus, where the VNF network element request message includes attribute information and a location policy of a VNF network element that is requested; the VNF resource pool management apparatus determines a first VNF network element that matches the attribute information and the location policy from the VNF resource pool; and the VNF resource pool management apparatus sends a VNF network element response message to the VNF resource pool user apparatus, where the VNF network element response message includes identification information of the first VNF network element. In this way, a risk that a functional group formed by VNF network elements cannot properly work can be avoided.
