Abstract: Disclosed is a shoe system which comprises a shoe, at least one clip, and at least one detachable upper. The shoe has a midsole portion having a sidewall surface extending around the shoe, and at least one elongated channel defined in and extending along at least a portion of the sidewall surface. The elongated channel is configured for receiving the clip in a locking fashion. The clip has a locking portion for locking within the channel. The clip connects with the detachable upper via a connection portion.

Abstract: A helmet slide assembly is attached to a helmet and functioning to enable a tilting of a visor relative to the helmet. The helmet assembly includes a base plate that is attached to a sidewall of the helmet and a slide plate disposed substantially in a parallel arrangement relative to the base plate and secured to a sidewall of the visor. The slide plate has an elongated slot for receiving a pivot member. The assembly also includes a pivot plate having locked and unlocked positions. The pivot member is secured at one end thereof to the pivot plate and the slide plate is constructed and arranged for a sliding motion once the pivot plate is unlocked.

Abstract: Watersports accessories, including but not limited to handwear and footwear, where a substantial portion of the accessory is molded in a three-dimensional mold with a soft, pliable, and durable material such as EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) or PU (Polyurethane) or similar foam blends that aid in the flexibility, durability, and comfort of the accessory.

Abstract: A method of forming an article of footwear includes knitting a knitted component having a knit element and a tensile strand that are formed of unitary knit construction as a one-piece element. The knitted component is configured to at least partially form an upper for the article of footwear. The knit element defines a body and a trim region, and the trim region defines an outer edge of the knit element. The tensile strand includes at least one inlaid portion that is inlaid within the knit element. The tensile strand also includes an exposed portion that is exposed from the knit element and that is disposed adjacent the outer edge. The exposed portion is spaced from the outer edge in an inboard direction on the knit element. The method further includes manipulating the exposed portion to move and adjust the at least one inlaid portion relative to the knit element.

Abstract: A ventilated hat is provided that includes a crown and a brim, the brim having air passages that extends from the front and/or sides of the brim, through the brim to the crown. Air is enters the air passages at the front or sides of the brim when the wearer moves or when any slight breeze blows into the brim, cooling the wearer's head. The hat can be constructed as a single unit or as a frame upon which replaceable hat covers are mounted.

Abstract: A gown with an opening to allow passage the user's head allowing the gown to rest on the user's shoulders and an opening in the back with one cord attached to the inside of each side of the opening in the back of the gown and each cord then extends toward the shoulder area where each cord is temporarily attached and the cord further extends toward a hole in the opposite side of the opening in the back where it passes through a hole to the outer portion of the gown.

Abstract: An article of footwear has an upper and a sole structure. The upper includes a base layer and one or more tensile strands. The sole structure includes an auxetic element operable to expand in two orthogonal horizontal directions in response to a tension applied in one of the directions. Each tensile strand has at least one end secured in fixed position relative to a peripheral region of the sole structure.

The rear part includes two rear elements; each including: first portions to cover: buttocks lower terminal portion, buttocks lateral portion, and hips portion; and second portions to cover: buttocks central portion and lower central portion at the garment rear fork. The rear part includes an insert increasing elastic modulus and/or tenacity of the rear part first portions relative to second portions. Lateral edges of two rear part rear elements connect along a central rear seam positioned on the buttocks intergluteal cleft; before sewing together, the lateral edges have rectilinear shape in plan view, facilitating seam insertion into the intergluteal cleft and adherence of the two elements to buttocks when wearing pants.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an exercise garment with a crotch part includes a main body portion formed from a material having stretchability; and a tightening portion having higher tightening force than the main body portion, in which the tightening portion includes a pair of right and left first tightening portions respectively covering an approximately triangular region formed by the upper part of the hip, the lateral side of the lumbar region, and the vicinity of a position corresponding to the greater trochanter as the apex of the triangular region, in the right and left sides of the wearer. The first tightening portions include plural partitioned tightening portions extending in the vertical direction and adjoining in the width direction. The partitioned tightening portions are formed such that the directions of high stretchability in the respective partitioned tightening portions approach closer to one another toward the lower side.

Abstract: The present application includes a system and method for protecting the user's clothes from food stains. The system includes a neckpiece convenient to place around the user's neck, a flexible material to attach to the neckpiece and a pair of tabs which are placed on the user to form a pocket to catch food particles. The flexible material may be detached from the neckpiece, allowing the neckpiece to be reused.

Abstract: An article of footwear including cleat sets and/or cleat members can include provisions for maximizing traction between a chassis and multiple types of ground surfaces. In some embodiments, a chassis can include cleat sets and/or cleat members disposed in different locations to achieve maximum traction on multiple types of surfaces. In other embodiments, a chassis can include distinct types of cleat sets and/or cleat members that each maximize traction for a distinct type of surface. Each chassis includes a distinct type of cleat configuration. Different cleat configurations may be used to provide varying degrees of traction. In some embodiments, the chassis can include varying levels of flexibility, to provide user with options to customize the stiffness and support of the article of footwear.

Abstract: An article of headwear including a crown component, a brim component, and an elongated attachment component is provided. The attachment component is configured to attach the brim component to the crown component. The attachment component may include a female-type engagement element along a first elongated edge of the attachment component and a flange element along a second elongated edge of the attachment component. The second elongated edge is opposite to the first elongated edge. The female-type engagement element has first and second arms defining therebetween an elongated channel having a length and a depth. The flange element extends in a direction transverse to the length of the channel. The crown component is attached to the flange element. The brim component includes a connection region configured for insertion into the channel. An article of headwear having an attachment component for attaching decorative elements to the headwear is also provided.

Abstract: A suspension connection arrangement for a suspension system for a safety helmet, the suspension system including at least one strap connected to at least one tab, which is attachable between a headband arrangement and at least one headband slot positioned on an internal surface of the safety helmet. The suspension connection arrangement includes: at least one projection member extending from the at least one tab; and at least one keyhole connected to at least one slot, both extending at least partially through a headband member, wherein the at least one keyhole is configured to at least partially receive the at least one projection member therethrough, such that the at least one projection member is configured to slide along the at least one slot, thereby removably attaching the at least one tab to the headband member. A suspension system and a safety helmet are also disclosed.

The sewing cycle is repeatedly performed to form a stitch, so that stitches form a stitch line in a surface sheet. A direction of a force, which is generated by applying tension to the lower thread and which acts to rotate thread ends of a pair of adjacent stitches in each needle receiving hole about a crossing part of the upper thread and the lower thread, is defined as a rotation direction. The sewing needle is rotated in a direction opposite to the rotation direction to incline a diagonal line of the quadrangular shape forming the cross section relative to the feeding direction of the upholstery member.

Abstract: A convertible garment and a method of converting a convertible garment is disclosed. A convertible garment includes a piece of fabric possessing a periphery, and a plurality of fasteners disposed on the piece of fabric along the periphery at substantially regular intervals. One of the plurality of fasteners is configured to fasten to each of the other fasteners to form armholes. The convertible garment is configured to adopt a first configuration in which the fasteners are not fastened to one another so that the convertible garment is wearable as a scarf. The convertible garment is configured to adopt a second configuration in which one of the plurality of fasteners is fastened to each of the other fasteners so that the convertible garment is wearable as a vest.

Abstract: An article of apparel includes a concealed weapon pocket positioned at a location on the article of apparel which allow for easy access by a user, such as a lower side portion of a coat or jacket, for example. The front panel includes an upper portion that is releasably secured about its top edge and upper side edges to the main panel, and a lower portion that is fixably secured about its bottom and lower side edges to the main panel. A flap associated with a front cargo pocket may be grasped by hand and moved in a generally forward and downward direction to expose the upper portion of the concealed weapon pocket. The user may then grasp and deploy a weapon disposed in the pocket with minimized structural interference from any portion of the pocket or surrounding apparel structure.

Abstract: A garment for improving the wearer's posture provides cords that, when secured in place, exert a slight pressure against the wearer's shoulders each time he/she starts to slouch, serving as a reminder to be more erect. The garment had a horizontal channel that is located around the body of the user, preferably just below the breast area, that accommodates a first cord. The garment further includes vertically-extending channels that extend upward from the horizontal channel and over the shoulders of the user.

Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a wearable knitting needle support device. The wearable needle support or knitting pad includes an anchoring filling configured to support a needle in a desired position, a needle reception area with apertures on all or parts of the surface that covers the anchoring filling, and a contoured substrate opposite of the needle reception surface. The contoured substrate is concavely curved along at least one axis and serves to produce an identical curve in the lower piece 116. The knitting pad may be connected to a belt or other attachment mechanism that secures the pad to a select position on a user.
