  • Patent number: 9328785
Abstract: A brake caliper assembly comprising a housing including inlet and outlet ends collectively defining forward and rearward directions. The housing includes an abutting surface facing in the rearward direction and positioned closer to the inlet end than to the outlet end. A pad assembly includes an engaging surface in engagement with the abutting surface to thereby substantially prevent movement of the pad assembly in the forward direction. The outlet end of the housing is free from a feature that substantially prevents movement of the pad assembly in the forward direction. The pad assembly includes a base and a projection extending from the base in the rearward direction and defining the engaging surface. The outlet end of the pad assembly can include an alignment member extending in the forward direction and engaging the housing in a direction substantially perpendicular to the forward direction.

  • Patent number: 9205825
Abstract: An electric caliper includes an electric drive mechanism which generates a pressing force for pressing a friction pad against a disc rotor, and a retraction mechanism provided in a piston of a pressing mechanism. The mechanism includes a reversing member which is compressed by a force transmission portion and a pressing portion of the piston to thereby generate a reverse force. Also, the mechanism includes a movable element which relatively retracts due to the reverse force, and a first elastic member which is compressed by the movable element and the advancing force transmission portion to thereby apply a restoring force. Thus, in the mechanism, the reversing member generates the reverse force as a result of advancement of the force transmission portion, and the movable element relatively retracts due to the reverse force and compresses the first elastic member.

  • Patent number: 9169889
Abstract: The invention is generally directed to the field of fluid pressure operated devices such as air springs and fluid dampers and more specifically directed to the field of such devices having externally mounted structures. In particular, one of the mounting elements, such as a mounting hole for mounting the device between sprung and un-spring masses can be reoriented relative to the device and its externally mounted structures. Therefore, the reorientation of the mounting element may be achieved: using ordinary maintenance techniques and tools, without accessing the inside of the device and especially the fluid contained within the device, and/or without changing the length of the device.

  • Patent number: 9155238
Abstract: A stabilizer serves for stabilizing a link of a three-point suspension system of an agricultural tractor. The stabilizer has at least one telescope consisting of a tube and a piston held displaceably therein. Said tube and piston are coupled elastically by at least one spring. The piston is designed such that it can be adjusted in length by means of at least one thread. In order to retain the telescope, the stabilizer has at least one pivotably held retaining clip. In a retaining position, said retaining clip engages over an abutment of the piston whereas, in a release position of the retaining clip, the piston can be freely moved. In order to obtain simple handleability of said stabilizer, the abutment is formed by at least one substantially rotationally symmetrical disc. The piston length can therefore be adjusted in or in the vicinity of the retaining position.
