  • Patent number: 4462549
Abstract: A manual type miniature atomizer having a container for liquid to be atomized, and further having mounting means, a main cylindrical member, a hollow tubular member, a spring, an atomizing head, and an outer cylindrical member. The mounting means is detachably engaged with the neck of the container. The main cylindrical member depends from the flange of the mounting means into the container. The hollow tubular member is elevationally movably engaged at the lower end within the small-diameter portion of the hollow tubular member. The spring urges upwardly the tubular member. When the atomizing head is manually depressed in operation, the interior space in the small-diameter cylinder is reduced and hence the interiors of both the small-diameter and the large-diameter cylinders are simultaneously pressurized.

  • Patent number: 4462544
Abstract: Device for beverage drinking for use by a plurality of drinkers. The device comprises a base mountable on a beverage container opening, such as the mouth of a beer mug with the base defining plural bores through which flexible drinking tubes extend into the container. Short posts or pegs are provided on the base onto each of which the drinking end of a tube can be placed, thus serving as a tube-retaining means when the tube is not in use. An elongate handle is additionally provided to facilitate handling of the device.

  • Patent number: 4462550
Abstract: An apparatus (10) for distributing a substance (18) from a container (16) among a plurality of delivery channels (22) is disclosed. Apparatus (10) includes an auger (20) for moving a stream of substance (18) upwardly for outward centrifugal deflection by paddles (44) into a plurality of distributor pockets (60). Substance (18) which impacts and is retained in distributor pocket areas falls gravitationally into delivery tubes (22) for subsequent movement by pressurized air to outputs (26).

  • Patent number: 4434937
Abstract: A reaction drive sprinkler, particularly of the large gun type, is provided with an improved drive assembly adapted for full- or part-circle rotation of the sprinkler in steps about the axis of a water supply standpipe. The sprinkler includes a relatively large and outwardly inclined range tube from which a relatively high energy water stream is projected a substantial distance for irrigation purposes. The drive assembly comprises a drive nozzle mounted on the range tube for bleed passage of a relatively low energy portion of the irrigation water supplied to the range tube and for directing this low energy stream into engagement with one of a pair of oppositely angled deflector spoons at the end of a counterbalanced and pivotally mounted reaction drive arm.
