Abstract: An appliance housing includes a mating component, a confined component, a primary beam, and a pin. The mating component may define an opening. The confined component may be removably connected to the mating component. The primary beam may be elastically moveable relative to the mating component. The pin may be attached to the beam to move therewith between a flexed position and an original position. The pin may extend from a base end proximal to the primary beam to an outer end distal to the primary beam. The pin may be selectively received within the opening to constrain the primary beam relative to the mating component. The primary beam may be flexible to allow the pin to move inward to the flexed direction and return outward to the original position.

Abstract: A shoe organizer unit, a method of using a shoe organizer unit, and a method for storing shoes in a plurality of shoe storing shelves of a shoe organizer unit are described. The shoe organizer unit includes a plurality of shoe storing shelves adapted to store shoes therein. A plurality of linear actuators moves the plurality of shoe storing shelves in a path within a cabinet. A controller manages operation of the linear actuators to move the shoes along the path. Transparent panels secure the shoes within the cabinet. Secure storage and retrieval of the shoes is controlled by electronics including a keypad, a push button and a shoe shelf identification code card printer. The shoe organizer unit provides for sterilization of the shoes stored and secure storing and retrieval of the shoes.

The chest of drawers includes a first identification element visible from the outside of the fixed structure configured to provide information regarding the contents of the drawer.

Abstract: A slide rail mechanism is configured to be mounted to a first post and a second post of a rack. A transverse space is defined between the first post and the second post. The slide rail mechanism includes a first slide rail kit and a second slide rail kit. Each of the slide rail kits includes a fixed rail and a movable rail longitudinally movable relative to the fixed rail. The two fixed rails are respectively connected to the two posts, and are located outside the transverse space. Each of the fixed rails is formed with a passage corresponding to inside of the transverse space. Each of the movable rail is configured to be movably mounted to the passage.

Abstract: This invention is embodied in a bracket for installing side-mount, slide-out shelving. The key to this invention is an offset section of the bracket that permits the bracket to engage with a tab 4 on the side-mount slide. By engaging the bracket and the side-mount slide without having to use a fastener, an installer can locate and fasten the bracket to the existing cabinet base, thus securing the side-mount slide to the cabinet.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a storage system having a drawer supported, when extended from a housing, by a lid. In an illustrative example, the drawer may have a first engagement feature. The lid may, for example, have a second engagement feature. The housing may, for example, have a first slide configured to slidingly receive the drawer. The housing may, for example, have a second slide configured to slidingly receive the lid. In a support mode, for example, the lid may be disposed in the second slide beneath the drawer such that, when the drawer is slid out of the housing beyond a first distance, then the engagement features interact to extend the lid from the housing such that the lid supports at least a portion of a weight of the drawer. Various embodiments may advantageously provide a cost-effective, transportable, and/or modular storage system.

Abstract: A selective locking assembly of extractable components prevents the simultaneous extraction of several drawers. The selective locking assembly includes at least one pair of actuating devices formed by at least one rigid elongated element extending horizontally and arranged so as to be axially rotatable in proximity to a back wall of the drawers, each actuating device being operatively associable with a corresponding drawer through a first coupling device and being also equipped, at drawers not associated therewith, with a stop device arranged and selectively cooperates with the drawers to prevent/allow extraction, each actuating device being adapted to be rotatably displaced, in response to the extraction movement of the drawer to which it is associated, from a first position, wherein the stop device allows the extraction of any of the drawers, to a second position wherein the stop device interacts with the other drawers to prevent the extraction thereof.

Abstract: A fiber optic cross connect system comprising a case defining a tray receiving space and at least one tray slideable in and out of the space between a first closed position, a second intermediate position and a third open or accessible position and a sliding engagement between a sidewall of the case and a side edge of the tray is disclosed. The sliding engagement comprises an elongate link member which is stationary as the tray is moved between the first closed position and the second intermediate position and moves with the tray as the tray is moved between the second intermediate and the third open position and such that the elongate link member does not interfere with fiber optic cables which are interconnecting external devices with devices on the tray. In a particular embodiment the link member is held stationary by a releasable locking mechanism.

Abstract: A powered vanity system with a power outlet positioned on the bottom of a drawer box adjacent a face plate with a pressure switch the prevents the flow of electricity to the power outlet when the drawer box is in a closed position and allows the flow of electricity to the power outlet when the drawer box is in an open position. A cable manager controls the power cord as the drawer box moves between open and closed positions. The drawer box is easily removable from the cabinet carcass and provides for a novel convenience lighting system.

Abstract: A mullion assembly for a merchandiser including an elongated mullion body that has a first end and a second end. The mullion body defines an elongated channel extending from the first end toward the second end along a longitudinal axis oriented along a length of the mullion body. The channel is defined by a support surface, opposite sidewalls, and opposite hooks that are coupled to the sidewalls and that extend in a direction across the longitudinal axis. A light assembly is coupled to the mullion body within the elongated channel, and the light assembly is captured by the hooks to retain the light assembly in the channel.

Abstract: A slide rail assembly includes a first rail, a second rail, a third rail, and a position-limiting member. The third rail is movably mounted between the first and the second rails. The second and the third rails can be displaced with respect to the first rail from a predetermined position in a first direction. When the second and the third rails are at the predetermined position with respect to the first rail, a first portion of the position-limiting member is adjacent to an end portion of the three rails, and a second portion of the position-limiting member prevents the three rails from separating from one another in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction.
