In the method, a request is received for a content asset to be inserted in the linear video stream at a specified time. The linear video stream is to be presented on the personalized channel. Responsive to the request, a network location is provided for accessing a specified content asset to be inserted in the linear video stream at the specified time.

Abstract: A wireless hub device may receive wireless signals associated with a plurality of audio or visual output (A/V) devices for registering with a wireless hub system, wherein the plurality of A/V devices are configured into a plurality of zones. The wireless hub device may receive a command and transmit signals to a plurality of A/V devices in one of the zones so that the plurality of A/V devices are calibrated within the zone. The plurality of A/V devices are calibrated to adjust a specific role of each speaker within an audio system.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for content recommendations based on user activity data are described herein. An analytics subsystem may receive first activity data. The first activity may be indicative of a plurality of first engagements with a first plurality of media assets. At least one machine learning model may be configured to receive an input of activity data, such as the first activity data, and to determine at least one content recommendation on that basis. The at least one content recommendation may comprise a recommendation for at least one media asset. The at least one media asset may be associated with at least one media asset classification. The analytics subsystem may send the at least one content recommendation.

Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include systems for generating personalized avatar reactions during live video broadcasts. For example, the systems and methods described herein can access a social networking system user's profile to identify an avatar associated with the social networking system user. The systems and methods can generate an avatar reaction by modifying one or more features of the avatar based on a corresponding emoticon reaction. Once generated, the social networking system user can select the avatar reaction for addition to an ephemeral reaction stream associated with a live video broadcast. The method may continue by generating a metadata object to facilitate sync playback on the user interface by determining what data is in the source buffer of the user interface that needs to be removed and searching for data using a first time format that is not natively supported by the user interface and converting the first time format into a second time format that is natively supported by the user interface. The method also includes synchronizing between videos using a sync playback controller from the generated metadata object, wherein each video is represented as a sequence in the source buffer of the user interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods for video presentation and analytics for a sporting event are disclosed. In one embodiment, the sporting event is an auto racing event. A server platform is provided to collect and analyze real-time raw data and historical raw data, and compare drivers/vehicles from a current auto racing event and/or a historical auto racing event. The server platform is operable to overlay a ghost driver/vehicle on the images of a driver/vehicle in the current auto racing event based on the comparison. The server platform also provides a GUI for displaying the current auto racing event with enhanced features.

The notifications can be preemptive and/or can indicate a predicted time and/or source for the events. The event can be, for example, a person attempting to contact a user who is viewing content at a display interface. The person can be associated with a food delivery that has been ordered by the user via a delivery application. An application, such an automated assistant application, can predict when the person is expected to arrive with the food delivery, and generate a notification ahead of the person arriving. In some implementations, the notification can be rendered at a scrubber user interface (UI) at a location corresponding to the time that the food delivery is expected to arrive, thereby putting the user on notice of when the streaming content may be interrupted.
