Abstract: An outsole with a conformable substrate with a depression and a core inset in the depression. The core includes a plurality of plates, a first one of the plates is hingedly attached, at one or more edges of the first plate, to one or more substantially adjacent other plates in the plurality of plates, where each hinge hingedly attaching an edge of the first plate to another plate joins less than the entire respective hingedly attached edge to a corresponding one of the one or more substantially adjacent other plates and is integrally connected to the first plate and the other plate. The hinges attaching edges of the first plate to other plates disperse impact forces from the first plate to a corresponding one of the other plates, and a subset of the plurality of plates in the core form a row of three or more interconnected plates.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention comprise a garment; a first design comprising fluorescent material placed on the garment, wherein the first design is externally visible when the garment is worn by a wearer; a second design comprising reflective material overlaid on the first design to create a resulting design, wherein the resulting design provides 360 degree external visibility of the wearer when the garment is worn by the wearer; and wherein the resulting design is an artistic expression. Other embodiments comprise the steps of: creating a design, wherein the design is an artistic expression and comprises a first partial design and a second partial design; transferring the first partial design to a garment comprised of clothing fabric using a fluorescent material; and transferring the second partial design to the garment using a reflective material, wherein all the materials cause a wearer of the garment to have 360 degree external visibility.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes a sole and an upper. The upper includes a restrictive fabric portion. The restrictive fabric portion includes elastic and restrictive strands. A restrictive-side resistance index is greater than an elastic-side resistance index, when a tensile load is applied to the restrictive fabric portion in a direction of stretching the elastic and restrictive strands, where the restrictive-side resistance index is a ratio of an increase in tensile stress to an increase in rate of stretch of the restrictive strand, in a range in which a rate of stretch of the restrictive fabric portion is greater than a predetermined value, and the elastic-side resistance index is a ratio of an increase in tensile stress to an increase in rate of stretch of the elastic strand, in the range in which the rate of stretch of the restrictive fabric portion is greater than the predetermined value.

Abstract: A goalkeeper's glove for a goalkeeper includes a base knit and a plurality of finger stalls. Two or more of the finger stalls can include a compression knit area configured to be located circumjacent a proximal interphalangeal joint of fingers of a wearer. A wrist collar with a compression knit area can be configured to be located circumjacent the radiocarpal joint of the wearer. The compression knit areas of the finger stalls and the wrist collar can be configured to provide support to the fingers and wrist of the wearer, respectively, in a manner similar to athletic tape.

Abstract: A garment is provided, the garment including a base fabric layer having an inner surface and an outer surface, the base fabric layer further having on the inner surface, an absorption region and a non-absorption region. In a particular implementation, the non-absorption region is configured to be in contact with the skin of a wearer of the garment. The garment further includes a moisture prevention insert that includes a moisture resistance layer in contact with the absorption region of the base fabric layer, wherein the moisture resistance layer includes at least two sub layers, each sub layer having a thermoplastic polyurethane coating; a fluid absorption layer configured in contact with the moisture resistance layer; and a mesh layer configured to have one surface thereof in contact with the fluid absorption layer and an opposing surface thereof in contact with the skin of the wearer.

Abstract: A sleeve cuff is provided for a sleeve including an anterior patch affixed to the sleeve and covering at least a portion of a cutout in the sleeve, a distal strap affixed to the sleeve and spanning over at least a portion of a cutout in the sleeve, and the distal strap overlapping at least a portion of the anterior patch to form an aperture for receiving a thumb therethrough. The sleeve cuff has a plurality of configurations, including at least a closed configuration where the aperture is closed and minimizes the wearer's exposure to wind and air elements therethrough, and an opened configuration where the aperture is opened and minimizes the air penetration around the received thumb.

Abstract: A safety helmet (100) with a helmet shell (7), with a bearing element (5), with at least one holding element (2, 9.l, 9.r, 28) and with a tubular shape textile sheathing. Each holding element (2, 9.l, 9.r, 28) is permanently connected to the helmet shell (7). A distance is present between a holding element (2, 9.l, 9.r, 28) and the head of a user of the safety helmet (100). The bearing element (5) is adjacent to the head. The textile sheathing encloses the bearing element (5) and is located in some areas between the bearing element (5) and the head. The bearing element (5) is detachably connectable to a respective holding element through at least one connection opening in the textile sheathing. A process for removing the textile sheathing from the safety helmet (100), as well as to a process for manufacturing a safety helmet (100) are provided.

The device includes a base underlying the control bar and connected to the medial side arm at a first joint and to the lateral side arm at a second joint. The device includes a medial anchor arm extending downwardly and forwardly from the first joint and partially under the foot-receiving void. The device includes a lateral anchor arm extending downwardly and forwardly from the second joint and partially under the foot-receiving void. The medial side arm and the lateral side arm resiliently bend to a loaded position when a downward force is applied to the center segment.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes an upper coupled with a sole structure that defines a forefoot region, a midfoot region, and a heel region. The sole structure includes an upper midsole cushioning member, a lower midsole cushioning member, an outsole coupled to a bottom surface of the lower midsole cushioning member, and a plate positioned between the upper midsole cushioning member and the lower midsole cushioning member. The plate includes a toe segment that extends through the forefoot region, the toe segment defining a first concave curved portion that extends downward from a distal end to a first inflection point disposed within the midfoot region. The plate further includes a middle segment defining a second concave curved portion that extends upward from the first inflection point and toward the heel region before transitioning to a convex curved portion at a second inflection point in the midfoot or heel region.

Abstract: A shoe accessory is provided that can be removably attached to a polygonal hole of a shoe. The shoe accessory may include an outer flange having a first length, an inner flange having a second length greater than the first length, and a connecting portion spacing the outer flange from the inner flange. The connecting portion may have a polygonal cross-section. The inner flange may be configured to be inserted through the polygonal hole. The connecting portion may be configured to be disposed within the polygonal hole. The outer flange may be configured to be disposed adjacent an outer surface of the shoe. The outer flange may further include a face whereby a member may be disposed on the face with an adhesive to customize the shoe accessory with indicia, graphics, colors, and a combination thereof. A related shoe accessory kit and method of inserting the shoe accessory is provided.

Abstract: A garment includes a garment body, a pillow housing (including a pillow pad), and a drawstring assembly. The garment body is configured to enclose a torso of a wearer. The pillow housing is secured to the garment body. The pillow housing encloses a pillow pad. The pillow housing is convertible between an uncompressed and a compressed state. The drawstring assembly includes at least one drawstring extending around the pillow housing. A pull force exerted on the drawstring causes the pillow housing (and the pillow pad contained therein) to convert from the uncompressed to the compressed state. In the compressed state, the pillow housing and pillow pad form a cushion configured to provide support for a wearer's neck and head.

The article of footwear includes a sole with a heel cushion mechanically engaged with a first end of a shank at an interface that includes one or more connectors in the shank that are snap-fitted with corresponding holes in the cushion. The sole further includes a midsole body at least partially surrounding the heel cushion and the shank and the midsole body has a greater hardness than the heel cushion.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a helmet shell mounting assembly. A system includes a mounting component and a locking slider configured to interface with the mounting component when the locking slider is in an engaged position to secure an outer helmet shell to an inner helmet. In another embodiment, the system also includes an anchor that is configured to pass through the outer helmet shell via a through hole and be received by the mounting component, and the locking slider is configured to retain the anchor within the mounting component when the locking slider is in the engaged position.

Abstract: A shoe with a heel that is adjustable in height. The heel includes a hollow body fastened to a sole of the shoe, and provided with grooves arranged at different heights from one another. A group of components including a lever are inserted into the hollow body for mutual sliding. A button is connected to the lever for causing rotation of the lever. A locking element is connected to the lever to switch from a locked position to a sliding position. In the locked position, the locking element is inserted into a groove of the hollow body, whereby the group of components and the hollow body are mutually locked in position. In the sliding position, the group of components and the hollow body can mutually slide. An elastic member is arranged to exert a force which brings the locking element from the sliding position to the locked position.

A damper is at least partially disposed in the chamber. Each damper extends into the interior space along a respective longitudinal axis. Each damper has an outer end disposed at a fixed position relative to the outer layer and an inner end disposed longitudinally opposite the outer end in the interior space. The protector includes a plurality of separate engagement members corresponding to the plurality of dampers. Each engagement member is disposed at the inner end of the corresponding damper and is configured to engage the body part of the user. Each damper includes a plurality of compressible damper elements concentrically arranged about the longitudinal axis.

An outsole is mounted to a bottom surface of the midsole. The outsole includes a first outsole portion, a second outsole portion and a third outsole portion. The first outsole portion, the second outsole portion and the third outsole portion are spaced apart from each other so as to provide flexibility to the sole structure. The first outsole portion, the second outsole portion and the third outsole portion may be formed of a first material and a second material. The second material is more durable relative to the first material.

Abstract: An adjustable length garment device allowing an individual wearing a romper to remove, or partially remove, the romper without having to remove all of one's clothing or risking the romper from falling on the ground. The adjustable length garment device includes an elongated member dimensioned to cover a portion of the torso of the wearer. The elongated member includes an upper opening and a lower opening and a fastener disposed at the lower end of the elongated fabric member. The fastener divides the lower opening into a pair of leg openings when engaged. The leg openings define a lower channel including at least one drawstring. The at least one drawstring is connected to a first strap and a second strap, such that pulling upward on the first strap and the second strap will elevate the drawstring.
