Abstract: Computer systems and computer-implemented analysis methods may be used for assistance in planning and/or performing a medical procedure, such as percutaneous nephrolithotomy or percutaneous nephrolithotripsy. The method may include receiving one or more radiographic images of an anatomical structure of a patient, generating a display of the radiographic image(s), generating at least one request for user input to identify features of the anatomical structure, receiving user input identifying the features of the anatomical structure, identifying at least one access plan based on the received user input, and generating a display of the identified access plan(s) associated with the radiographic image(s). The method may include generating a patient template that indicates an insertion site according to the identified access plan(s).

Abstract: The present application relates generally to in-home monitoring and an early health crisis alarm system for elderly individuals and patients with chronic diseases. In one aspect, using artificial intelligence and signals from electricity usage, water usage, ballistocardiography (BGC), and ultra-wideband radar, the system and methods may be used to identify and track daily human activities and physical status in the home. Anomalies to patterns can be determined by identifying disruptions in previously established patterns.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods of the present disclosure include a database layer queries patient-related raw data from data tables of distinct data collection services, normalizes the patient-related raw data to produce common format normalized patient-related data, and stores the common format normalized patient-related data. An algorithmic processing layer, in real-time, analyzes the common format normalized patient-related data based on patient-related data metrics, a healthcare facility-related data metrics, or both, to determine patient-related data points, where each patient-related data point is associated with a respective threshold condition and a respective ranking score, ranks the patient-related data points based on the threshold condition and the ranking score to determine a priority, and generates actionable medical directives related to patients, where the actionable medical directives cause real-time operational changes in the way that the healthcare facility services the patients.

Abstract: A home automation (HA) system may include addressable HA devices and a user interface device configured to permit user social networking and generate user social networking data based thereon. The HA system may also include a controller and a memory coupled thereto and configured to store measured user health data and determine user physical activity data based upon the addressable HA devices. The controller and the memory may be configured to generate a user health score based upon the user social networking data, user health data, and user physical activity data and communicate the user health score via the cloud.

Abstract: A wait time control method, system, and computer program product, includes extracting wait times for treatment at emergency facilities and routing times to the emergency facilities based on an emergency request and assigning a patient to an emergency facility by calculating a minimal treatment time for the patient comprising a minimum combined time of a wait time at the emergency facility and a routing time to the emergency facility from a location of the emergency request.

Abstract: A method of treating a patient to prevent heart failure readmission can include identifying one or more risk factors for the patient, and selecting one or more interventions relating to the one or more risk factors in a graphical user interface (GUI) of a treatment support system. The method also includes receiving a statistical score of the one or more interventions to determine the effect of the one or more selected interventions on heart failure readmission, and treating the patient as a function of the received statistical score using the one or more interventions.

Abstract: Techniques for determining issues associated with a current state of an area of a healthcare facility are provided. In one example, a computer-implemented method comprises identifying an area of a healthcare facility included in image data captured of the healthcare facility, and characterizing aspects of a current state of the area of the area based on analysis of the image data, including determining object information characterizing objects included in the area. The method further comprises determining whether one or more of the aspects of the current state of the area deviate from a defined requirement for the area based on evaluation of the object information. Based on a determination that an aspect of the current state of the area deviates from the defined requirement for the area, the method can further comprise generating feedback information regarding the deviating aspect of the current state of the area.

Abstract: Power-efficient health affliction classification. A method controls execution of a set of health affliction classification applications on a wearable device of a user. The controlling includes monitoring device notifications on at least one mobile device of the user for health affliction information. The controlling further includes invoking an analysis of one or more notifications of the monitored device notifications, the analysis attempting to ascertain a health affliction and an afflicted individual having the health affliction. Based on the analyzing being initially unable to ascertain a health affliction, the controlling initiates execution of the set of health affliction classification applications in a prioritized order of execution.

Abstract: Mechanisms are provided which configure a medical treatment recommendation system to implement a medical condition independent treatment recommendation model. The medical condition independent treatment recommendation model operates on medical condition independent scoring features that are independent of any specific medical condition. The mechanisms configure the medical treatment recommendation system to receive a medical condition cartridge providing at least one medical condition specific evaluation feature that is specific to a medical condition, and process patient information based on a combination of an application of the at least one medical condition specific evaluation feature, and an execution of the medical condition independent treatment recommendation model of the medical treatment recommendation system, to generate a treatment recommendation for a patient medical condition associated with the patient. The mechanisms then output the treatment recommendation for the patient.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes an input module, a memory in which a self-diagnostic application is stored, and a processor configured to execute the self-diagnostic application. Herein, upon execution of the self-diagnostic application, the processor extracts multiple queries corresponding to a body part selected by a user on the basis of the user's input signal to select any one of multiple body parts and generates a diagnosis result for the user on the basis of the user's answers to the multiple queries. Further, the diagnosis result corresponds to at least one of multiple diseases.

Abstract: A method for modeling, validating, and monitoring a service level agreement (SLA) associated with a business process is disclosed herein. Such a method may include providing a library of reusable SLA component types. Functionality may be provided to enable a user to create SLA components from the reusable SLA component types. Functionality may also be provided to enable the user to assemble the SLA components into an SLA model having a hierarchy. In the SLA model, events may be passed between the SLA components to trigger behavior by the SLA components. SLA components at the lowest levels of the hierarchy may be configured to receive events from the business process. The method may further validate the SLA model against the business process to ensure the business process can generate the events required by the SLA components. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: A method and system for guiding end-users with respect to payment card data security standards. The system uses guidance questions that are worded simply and intelligibly so that end-users, regardless of their technical background or expertise, can understand the underlying issues and provide the proper answer. The guidance questions are generated from the PCI DSS SAQ and related guidance documents, to generate a list of positive, negative or non-applicable SAQ answers at the end of the process. The system generates action items with applicable policy statements for negative answers, if necessary, such that a completed questionnaire can be generated with all positive answers and sent to the authoritative entity. The system also generates vulnerability level reports based on the end-user's answers to assist the end-user and the host in assessing PCI DSS compliance readiness. The host can process the generated information, for example, to do risk analysis or risk management.

Abstract: Methods involve adding sorbent components, such as calcium oxide, alumina, and silica, as well as optional halogens as part of environmental control. Use of the sorbents leads to significant reductions in sulfur and mercury emissions that otherwise would result from burning coal. Use of the sorbents leads to production of waste coal ash that, while higher in mercury, is nevertheless usable as a commercial product because the mercury in the ash is non-leaching and because the coal ash has a higher cementitious nature by virtue of the increased content of the sorbent components in the ash. Thus, the methods involve adding powders having qualities that lead to the production of a cementitious coal ash while at the same time reducing emissions from a coal burning facility.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide for systems, apparatuses, and methods for collaborative watershed restoration projects, which may include one or more restoration actions involving a variety of different stakeholders that, when completed, provides a positive contribution to the ecological health of at least one watershed. The identified restoration actions may be a comprehensive list of actions recognized as addressing limiting factors that may exist in a watershed. Ecological outcomes may drive stakeholder involvement in collaborative watershed restoration projects. While the system provides transparency to the projects that are being funded, stakeholder confidence may benefit from additional assurances provided through a certification that the projects are satisfactorily completed.

Abstract: A method for estimating a used vehicle's market value is disclosed. The method searches for a set of comparable vehicles in an existing historical database of used vehicles. Estimations of the used vehicles are established based on each comparable vehicle (neighbor) in the set of comparable vehicles by adjusting their resale value in accordance with the individual differences found between the neighbor(s) and the used vehicle whose market value is to be estimated/predicted (the target vehicle). Finally, a distance-weighted average of all such estimations is calculated to arrive at a market value estimation for the target vehicle.

Abstract: A display method and apparatus for a navigation system promotes to quickly search a desired on a map image with respect to an order of distance from a current vehicle position or other reference position. On the screen of the navigation system, it displays a specially designed screen to implement the city search operation which includes a state selection box and a city selection box. The navigation system detects the search direction specified by the user and moves the cursor to the location of the candidate city in response to every operation of the input device in the order of distance in the specified direction.
