  • Patent number: 11304649
Abstract: Disclosed is a system for objective self-assessment of physical capabilities and condition changes of individuals with conditions like multiple sclerosis, the system has a mobile device with an appropriate software for carrying out a set of tests for assessment of motor capabilities such as body balance, muscle strength, and muscle spasticity, and receiving assessment feedback. The system has inertial motion sensors for performing motion sensing, wherein said inertial motion sensors are integrated with said mobile device, e.g., a smartphone, a smart watch, or a personal computer, or in a separate wearable sensor device, connected with said mobile device over wired or wireless data connection. Also disclosed is a method for such self-assessment with such system.

  • Patent number: 11179065
Abstract: Systems, methods and software products determine an overall motion and/or flexibility envelope for an individual. Movement and position data of the individual is captured and processed to generate an overall motion and/or flexibility envelope for the individual defining overall motion and/or flexibility of the individual. The systems include a flexibility server with memory and a processor adapted to receive movement and position data of the individual, a motion and/or flexibility analyzer, implemented as machine readable instructions stored in the memory and executed by the digital processor, capable of processing the movement and position data to generate an overall motion and/or flexibility envelope for the individual defining overall motion and/or flexibility of the individual.

  • Patent number: 11141109
Abstract: A bite force measuring system comprising a mouthpiece interfaced to a control unit. The mouthpiece comprises memory for storing calibration parameters. The mouthpiece comprises a fluid-filled compressible cavity, and a fluid-pressure-sensing device for measuring a pressure of a fluid contained in the fluid-filled compressible cavity. The mouthpiece comprises a communication interface for transmitting the calibration parameters and the measured pressure to the control unit. The control unit comprises a communication interface for receiving the calibration parameters and the measured pressure from the mouthpiece. The control unit comprises a processing unit for calculating a bite force corresponding to the measured pressure. The calibration parameters and the measured pressure are used calculating the bite force corresponding to the measured pressure.
