Abstract: A die button for the punching in and fastening of a fastener element having a piercing section to a planar workpiece, in particular a sheet metal part. The die button includes a jacket. Also included is a die plunger movably arranged in the jacket. Further included is a biasing device for pressing the plunger against the workpiece when the workpiece is supported on the jacket with a pressing force made available by the biasing device and selected such that the die plunger first moves when a slug has been detached from the workpiece by the piercing section of the fastener element.
Abstract: A centrifugally cast composite roll comprising an outer layer made of cast iron having a chemical composition comprising, by mass, 2.7-3.5% of C, 1.5-2.5% of Si, 0.4-1.0% of Mn, 3.7-5.1% of Ni, 0.8-2.2% of Cr, 1.5-4.5% of Mo, 2.0-4.5% of V, and 0.5-2.0% of Nb, the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities, a mass ratio of Nb/V being 0.18-0.65, and a mass ratio of Mo/V being 0.7-2.5, and a structure comprising, by area, 15-45% of a cementite phase and 1-10% of a graphite phase, and an inner layer made of cast iron having excellent mechanical strength and metallurgically bonded to the outer layer; a usable region of the outer layer as deep as 10 mm or more from the surface containing substantially no speck-like-segregated dendrites of bainite and/or martensite having diameters of 1.5 mm or more.
Abstract: An assembly jig for a radial roller bearing comprises a retaining structure having a plurality of axially-projecting projections configured to retain a plurality of roller bodies disposed in a ring-shape during a bearing assembly process. The roller bodies are supportable in a first radial direction on a first component and each roller body contacts two adjacent projections in a second radial direction, which is opposite of the first radial direction. The projections are configured to press the roller bodies against the first component and such that a portion of the roller bodies projects past the projections in the second radial direction. The assembly jig is removable from the roller bearing in the axial direction after final assembly of the roller bearing.
Abstract: The invention relates to a support for metal coils (1, 11, 31), wherein a metal coil (1, 11, 31) substantially has a circular circumference as viewed in cross section and the support comprises at least three support points (2, 2?, 12, 32), which are arranged in such a manner as to make contact with the metal coil (1, 11, 31) in the circumferential direction of the metal coil (1, 11, 31) when the metal coil (1, 11, 31) is laid on the support. The support permits particularly secure storage and/or transportation.
Abstract: A window frame insulation assembly and sealing arrangement, comprising an elongated, extruded block of foam material having a first or inner side and a second or outer side. A unitary air fin is co-extruded therewith. The air fin comprises an elongated flange of flexible foam material. The air fin and the elongated block define an elongated receiving-channel that is filled with a foam compression rod there between creating a seal for blocking air and moisture from a building in which said window frame assembly has been placed.
