  • Patent number: 5190774
Abstract: An apparatus for calendering cords with elastomeric material which has a main guide board and guide rolls located at the entrance side of the main guide board, with the guide rolls being located along columns of holes in the main guide board and being freely rotatably supported, the guide rolls making the inclined angles of cords, relative to the centerline of the holes, smaller near the holes in order to reduce the friction between the cords and the holes so as to consequently reduce the problem of curling of the coated cords.

  • Patent number: 4993352
Abstract: A squeegee device is used for applying materials of varying viscosities, such as coating substances, varnishes and adhesives to an application surface. The squeegee is pressed onto the application surface by a magnetic force. A profile member houses the squeegee and is pivotably supported by a bearing. The bearing allows the squeegee and profile member to be tiltable along an axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the squeegee or profile member in order to insure a tilting-free and bending-free adjustment of the squeegee on the application surface.

  • Patent number: 4828478
Abstract: A replaceable mold assembly for use in an injection molding machine includes first and second complemental mold halves adapted to be in a face-to-face engagement with one another; a first and a second engagement plate secured to the rear side of the first and the second mold half, respectively; and a bell crank lever pivotally secured to the first mold half and including a locking arm and an actuating arm and having a bolting position and an unbolting position. In the bolting position the locking arm engages the second mold half for interlocking the two mold halves and in the unbolting position the locking arm is out of engagement with the second mold half. A return spring is arranged in the first mold half for urging the bell crank lever into the bolting position. The actuating arm has an engagement face with a rocker profile.
