  • Patent number: 11580166
Abstract: Techniques for generated regular expressions are disclosed. In some embodiments, a regular expression generator may receive input data comprising one or more character sequences. The regular expression generator may convert character sequences into a sets of regular expression codes and/or span data structures. The regular expression generator may identify a longest common subsequence shared by the sets of regular expression codes and/or spans, and may generate a regular expression based upon the longest common subsequence. Alignment of span data structures may be performed when generating the regular expression.

  • Patent number: 11573945
Abstract: In a system for storing in memory a tensor that includes at least three modes, elements of the tensor are stored in a mode-based order for improving locality of references when the elements are accessed during an operation on the tensor. To facilitate efficient data reuse in a tensor transform that includes several iterations, on a tensor that includes at least three modes, a system performs a first iteration that includes a first operation on the tensor to obtain a first intermediate result, and the first intermediate result includes a first intermediate-tensor. The first intermediate result is stored in memory, and a second iteration is performed in which a second operation on the first intermediate result accessed from the memory is performed, so as to avoid a third operation, that would be required if the first intermediate result were not accessed from the memory.

  • Patent number: 11567952
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention utilize a “data canopy” that breaks statistical measures down to basic primitives for various data portions and stores the basic aggregates in a library within an in-memory data structure. When a queried statistical measure involves a basic aggregate stored in the library over a data portion that at least partially overlaps the data portion associated with the basic aggregate, the basic aggregate may be reused in the statistical computation of the queried measure.

  • Patent number: 11567990
Abstract: A method and system for providing on-demand updating of metadata information associated with clinical image data files is disclosed. The system allows for extracting, on the fly, additional metadata fields from clinical image data files and re-indexing the metadata to include the additional fields so that an end-user can perform operations (e.g., searching, browsing, etc.) based on the newly indexed fields. The metadata fields may be defined in a configurable schema file (e.g., XML, YML, etc.). The system can gain efficiencies by, for example, reading only a subset of the DICOM file (e.g., reading only the first few kilobytes that contain the header), scanning only a subset of source data folders, etc.

  • Patent number: 11562036
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include computerized methods, systems, and devices, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for generating terms of a search query based on a user's spoken utterances, identifying multiple cross-platform messages based on the generated terms, and to generating, via a presentation device, a single interface that enables the user to interact with identified messages. Based on a spoken utterance, the disclosed embodiments may determine user-specified search terms and/or criteria, and based on the user-specified search terms and/or criteria, may obtain cross-platform message data that corresponds to the search query. The communications device may generate one or more interface elements that describe corresponding ones of the cross-platform messages, which may be presented within a unified graphical user interface or voice-user interface by a communications device.

  • Patent number: 11561950
Abstract: In some embodiments, a hierarchical tree may include nodes that each indicates an objective, and each non-root node of the nodes indicates an objective supporting an objective of at least one node with which the non-root node has a direct relationship. Based on a modification to an objective of a given node of the tree, a determination of whether at least one child node of the given node indicates an unsatisfiable objective (e.g., no longer suitably supporting the given node's objective). For a child node of the given node determined to indicate an unsatisfiable objective, a corresponding subset of the tree may be replaced with replacement nodes that each indicates a satisfiable objective (e.g., suitably supporting the given node's objective), where the corresponding subset includes (i) the child node and (ii) descendant nodes of the child node.

  • Patent number: 11550826
Abstract: A method and system generates a model of a geographic area for use in identifying locations of the geographic area. A set of variably sized tiles is defined for each of a set of overlapping geometries in the geographic area. Each of the variably sized tiles is defined by a geohash, where the size of the tile is dependent on a granularity of the geohash. A geocode trie structure representing the variably sized tiles can be constructed and used to map one or more provided location coordinates to at least one of the geometries represented by the tiles.

  • Patent number: 11467914
Abstract: A method and system for migrating data and metadata from a first backup system to a second backup system via a content staging system is disclosed. The system accesses the backup data from the first backup system and restores it, along with the associated metadata, to a staging system. A metadata file is created at the staging system which comprises of the metadata that is to be migrated to the second backup system. The system then migrates the data from the staging system to the second backup system. The metadata is also migrated to the second backup system in a format such that it can be indexed. As a result, the migrated data can be browsed and searched based on one or more search criteria based on the associated metadata. Other details are provided herein.

  • Patent number: 11468025
Abstract: A tree structure represents a terrain area as nested polygons organized in a parent-child relationship, each polygon associated to a specific geographic location. The tree structure defines at least one parent node and a plurality of child nodes, some being leaf nodes containing a height value. A processor uses a distance measure to change the tree structure topology assessing whether all leaf node children of a first parent node lie outside a predetermined distance from an aircraft runway, and if so, converting the first parent node into a leaf node by storing in the first parent node a height value representing the greatest of the respective height values of the leaf node children and by removing the leaf node children; and iteratively repeating for each remaining parent node until it has been determined that every remaining parent node in the data structure cannot be pruned without violating accuracy requirements.

  • Patent number: 11461281
Abstract: Techniques are provided for utilizing a log to free pages from persistent memory. A log is maintained to comprise a list of page block numbers of pages within persistent memory of a node to free. A page block number, of a page, within the log is identified for processing. A reference count, corresponding to a number of references to the page block number, is identified. In response to the reference count being greater than 1, the reference count is decremented and the page block number is removed from the log. In response to the reference count being 1, the page is freed from the persistent memory and the page block number is removed from the log.

  • Patent number: 11461301
Abstract: In an approach for database index optimization, a processor detects a pattern of characters and numeric digits of an index key. The index key provides an access to a database through an index access without a sorting operation. A processor determines a converting format based on the pattern of the index key. The pattern includes a string of the numeric digits. A processor converts the index key into a converted key by converting the string of the numeric digits into an integer.
