  • Patent number: 9403532
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of reducing the output speed of a transmission in a vehicle, whereby the transmission includes a speed sensor and a controller and the vehicle includes a proximity sensor. The method includes measuring the output speed with the speed sensor and comparing the measured output speed to an output speed threshold. The controller receives throttle percentage and compares the throttle percentage to a throttle threshold. The method further includes receiving an input signal from the proximity sensor and comparing the input signal to a signal threshold. The output speed of the transmission can be controlled based on the values of the measured output speed, throttle percentage, and input signal.

  • Patent number: 9355295
Abstract: A device has a deposit, a sell, and an audit mode of operation to monitor and reconcile bills. The device includes a memory storing records, an input receptacle to receive bills, an image scanner to image bills, a transportation mechanism to transport bills, and one or more processors. In the deposit mode, the one or more processors extract serial numbers and generate records. Each record includes a physical bill location field to indicate the location that the bill is expected to be physically located. In the sell mode, the one or more processors update the physical bill location fields to indicate that the expected physical bill location is a second location. In the audit mode, the one or more processors determine if each record corresponds with an audit record and generate an indication that the teller drawer is balanced responsive to a determination that each audit record corresponds with a respective record and a determination that each record corresponds with an audit record.

  • Patent number: 9212709
Abstract: A power transmission device for a vehicle equipped with a wet multiple disk clutch for disconnecting the power at the time of gearshift by using a clutch controller, wherein the amount of engagement where the clutch is half-engaged is learned maintaining precision. In the present invention, the clutch controller of the wet multiple disk clutch moves a clutch piston over the whole stroke thereof by using the working fluid for varying the amount of engagement at the start of learning the amount of engagement at a point where the clutch starts half-engaging and, immediately thereafter, the amount the clutch is half-engaged is detected. Upon moving the clutch piston, the working fluid present among the friction disks of the wet multiple disk clutch is drained and is replaced by the new working fluid avoiding detection error caused by the fluctuation in the temperature of the working fluid and eliminating unstable operation of the clutch piston caused by static friction of a large resistance.
