Abstract: A collapsible container having an expanded storage configuration and a collapsed storage configuration is provided, the collapsible container comprising a floor portion; a ceiling portion opposed to the floor portion; at least one wall portion disposed between the floor portion and the ceiling portion; at least one door portion disposed between the floor portion and the ceiling portion; and at least two posts having a collapsed length configuration and an expanded length configuration, the at least two posts, in the collapsed length configuration, being adapted to interconnect the ceiling portion to the floor portion when the container is in the collapsed configuration and, in the expanded length configuration, being adapted to interconnect the ceiling portion to the floor portion when the container is in the expanded configuration. A collapsible container kit and a method of using the collapsible container is also provided.

Abstract: A seamless can body in which the flatness of a center panel of a bottom of the thin can body can be stably maintained and the can body has high pressure resistance, high formability, and excellent properties for an internal pressure test. The seamless can body has a can bottom shape having a rim portion protruding to an outside of the can, an annular concave portion protruding to an inside of the can, and a flat center panel extending continuously from an inner peripheral side of the annular concave portion with a corner portion interposed therebetween. The curvature radius (R3) of the corner section is in the range of 1.5 mm<R3?6.0 mm, the depth of the annular concave section is from 1.5 mm to less than 3.0 mm, and the flatness (BSD) of the center panel is from ?0.15 to 0.15 mm.

Abstract: According to various aspects, exemplary embodiments are disclosed liners, linings, tanks including the same, and methods of providing liners and linings for tanks. In an exemplary embodiment, a liner or lining includes a bottom sheet and a plurality of side sheets. At least one pair of adjacent side sheets is joined by an extrusion weld along an interface between the pair of adjacent side sheets. The extrusion weld is coupled to at least one mechanical fastener which is coupled to at least one structural component such that the pair of adjacent side sheets is anchored to the structural component.

Abstract: Containment berms (40) for the collection of hazardous materials are provided which include a floor (42) with an upstanding, continuous, foldable sidewall (44) to define and internal zone (46) for receiving and holding hazardous materials. The sidewall (44) may be supported by means of external support structure (48) and/or internal support structure (50). The support structures (48, 50) each include a plurality of support leg assemblies (52, 52a) which are secured to sidewall (44) and are pivotal about respective upright axes (66, 66a, 150) and are pivotal from retracted positions close to the sidewall (44) to deployed positions extending from the sidewall (44) and substantially perpendicular thereto.

Abstract: A closure 1 for closing a container comprises a closure body, which has a front wall 3, a side wall 2 and a transition portion 4 between the front wall 3 and the side wall 2. An annular projection 8, extending from the front wall 3, is provided for contact on the top side 10a of the mouth piece 10 of the container. An outer seal 9 is formed as a tongue 9 which extends from the side wall 2 and/or from the transition portion 4 towards a central axis A of the closure 1. The tongue 9 rests flexibly against the contour of the outer edge 10b and/or outside 10c of the mouth piece 10 when the closure 1 is attached to the mouth piece 10 of the container.

Abstract: A wastebasket for facilitating reuse of plastic shopping bags includes a first, open topped receptacle; a second receptacle, sized and shaped to receive therein the first receptacle; and a lid. The first, open topped receptacle may be formed unitary with the second receptacle or the first, open topped receptacle may be removable from the second receptacle. The first, open topped receptacle and the second receptacle are cooperatively adapted to form a bag storage compartment generally within the second receptacle and about the outside, upper portions of the first receptacle. The lid is cooperatively adapted with the first, open topped receptacle and the second receptacle to form an aesthetically pleasing closure for the bag storage compartment while simultaneously providing an also aesthetically pleasing opening to the interior space of the first, open topped receptacle.

Abstract: A container includes a basket and lid. The basket and lid each have a lip along at least a portion of a periphery and a tear strip connected along at least a portion of the lip. An outer edge of the lip includes notches and an inner edge of the tear strip complements the outer edge of the lip. The tear strip is connected to the lip by links arranged at notches of the outer edge of the lip. The basket tear strip is bonded to the lid tear strip to resist separation of the lid from the basket. The bonded basket tear strip and lid tear strip are detachable from the basket lip and the lid lip urged away from the basket and the lid, exposing the outer edge of the basket lip and the outer edge of the lid lip.

Abstract: A drinking vessel for a liquids packaging product. The drinking vessel is adapted to engage with and seal the opening of a bottle. The drinking vessel incorporates a frangibly linked portion which is adapted to, (a) engage with the bottle when the drinking vessel is fitted to the bottle to seal the bottle, and (b) remain with the bottle when the drinking vessel is subsequently removed from the bottle. Preferably the frangibly linked portion which is adapted to engage with the bottle is in the form of a ring.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a stackable packaging unit (1) for the packaging of products (100), the said packaging unit (1) comprising at least one encircling wall (2) provided at least with a corner ridge (3) dividing it into at least two retaining panels (2a) Partially folded down towards one another about the said corner ridge (3) so as to hold the said products (100) to be packaged, at least one end of the said corner ridge (3) being connected to the corresponding edges of the said retaining panels (2a) by at least one inclined centring profile. The stackable packaging unit (1) also comprises an intermediate element. The invention also pertains to a packaging comprising at least one such packaging unit (1).

Abstract: A lockable cap is a security feature for a medical prescription bottle. The lockable cap may have a dial locking mechanism that is attached to the cap and the dial locking mechanism and the cap can be attached or removed from the bottle only when the user has the correct combination on the dial lock. When the combination is incorrect, the cap cannot be removed from the bottle.

The front part is formed by a pair of side pieces and at least one central piece extending to and connected to the side pieces. The central piece has a constant cross-sectional shape.

The first insert has a first side edge and a second side edge and includes bottom and top portions bent out-of-plane from a side portion at first and second score lines. The second insert has a top edge and a bottom edge and includes two side portions bent out-of-plane from a middle portion at first and second score lines. The bottom portion of the first insert is located adjacent a bottom of the bag and the side portion of the first insert is located adjacent a first side of the bag. The bottom edge of the second insert abuts an interior surface of the bottom portion of the first insert. An interior surface of the top portion of the first insert abuts the top edge of the second insert.

Abstract: A lid for a beverage container is described. The lid has a basin that is designed to enhance the user's olfactory experience when drinking a beverage from the container and lid. As the user tilts the container and lid to take a drink, the beverage pours through an opening on the basin valley and flows across a sipping surface area to the user's mouth, thus allowing the beverage to aerate, evaporate, and cool. The basin is sized and dimensioned to channel and concentrate the vapor rising from the beverage towards the user's nose as the user sips the beverage. The basin and the opening are sized and dimensioned to provide a comfortable and secure feeling when drinking hot beverages. In this manner, the lid enhances the drinker's olfactory experience and provides better controllability of the flow of a hot beverage to prevent burn injuries.

A welding joint is formed in the overlapping portion between the panel and the annular support surface to integrally fix the panel to the annular support surface.

Abstract: Cups that color liquid contents and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed herein. The cups include an inner wall with a colorant disposed and affixed therein. The colorant is predisposed (i.e., affixed) before the introduction of a liquid, and remains affixed until a liquid is introduced into the cup. The colorant can be disposed within a recess. The colorant can also be affixed to a first cup such that stacking an identical cup within the first cup does not result in the colorant touching the identical cup.
