  • Patent number: 10262404
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for articulating visual inspection devices are provided. For example, a method can include receiving an inspection template by a control system associated with the visual inspection device. The inspection template can include data associated with at least one point of interest in a scene viewable to the visual inspection device. The method can further include generating, by the control system, an articulation path based on the data. The method can also include actuating an electro-mechanical system of the visual inspection device according to the articulation path.

  • Patent number: 9654822
Abstract: An electronic device displays a first video stream on a display. While displaying the first video stream on the display, the device allocates, in accordance with a historical pattern of video stream switching of a particular user, available bandwidth for receiving data at the device at least between receiving the first video stream and preloading a second, non-displayed video stream. The device receives the first video stream and preloads the second, non-displayed video stream in accordance with the allocated available bandwidth. The device receives a request to display the second video stream on the display. In response to receiving the request to display the second video stream on the display, the device displays the preloaded second video stream on the display.

  • Patent number: 7882170
Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling a host application and uses thereof access to otherwise inaccessible information configured solely for use by other types of applications. The information may be exposed for use by the host application as information elements (e.g., metadata). During execution the host application may dynamically access these information elements using references specifying the information elements. These references may be used to retrieve pieces of information for display and/or modification by users. The content provided by the application may have an associated smart tag or uniform resource locater that specifies the reference. Further, for particular content, references may be generated from a structural abstraction representing the structure of the content. The structural abstraction may have one or more nodes corresponding to one or more respective sections of the content.

  • Patent number: 7870298
Abstract: Two logical partitions within a single computer communicate with each other internally. The protocol stack of a first logical partition generates a frame in a memory space provided in a driver and referred to by the first logical partition. The driver transfers the frame generated in the memory space of the first logical partition to a communication port of a Layer 2 switch using DMA. The communication port of the Layer 2 switch loops back the frame input from the driver. An interrupt is signaled to the driver and the frame is transferred from communication port of the Layer 2 switch to the driver using DMA. The frame is received in a memory space referred to by a second logical partition.
