  • Patent number: 11619719
Abstract: A sensor network, which includes a sensor controller serially coupled to a plurality of sensor modules, is configured to program the sensor modules so as to transfer measurement data to the sensor controller and to synchronize the sensor modules to picosecond accuracy via on-chip or on-module custom circuits and a physical layer protocol. The sensor network has applications for use in PET, LiDAR or FLIM applications. Synchronization, within picosecond accuracy, is achieved through use of a picosecond time digitization circuit. Specifically, the picosecond time digitization circuit is used to measure on-chip delays with high accuracy and precision. • Patent number: 11581978
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, a user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive a downlink control message (e.g., an uplink grant) that schedules resources for transmitting repetitions of an uplink channel transmission, where each of the repetitions of the uplink channel transmission may correspond to a single transport block. The UE may determine a plurality of sounding reference signal (SRS) resources based on the downlink control message, and transmit different instances of the uplink channel transmission repetitions according to different SRS resources. The described examples for uplink repetitions may support various techniques for uplink coverage enhancement and diversity gains.

  • Patent number: 11581999
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for reference signal design in wireless communications. A base station may select a reference signal density scheme from a set of available density schemes associated with a port count. The reference signal density scheme may also be selected based on the category of the mobile device receiving the reference signal transmissions. The reference signal density scheme may be a higher density reference signal density scheme or a lower density reference signal density scheme, where the higher density reference signal density scheme includes more reference signal resource elements per subframe. The mobile device may determine the reference signal density scheme based on characteristics of a channel. The higher density reference signal density scheme may provide additional channel estimation opportunities for the mobile device. In some cases, the mobile device sends the channel estimated based on the received reference signals to the base station.
