Abstract: A locking mechanism for container and lid thereof may include a container and a lid, and the peripheral edge of the upper opening of the container has a first periphery edge. At least two first coupling portions, which are located at symmetric positions, and at least two second coupling portions, which are located at symmetric positions, outwardly protrude from the first periphery edge respectively. The lid comprises a second peripheral edge at the outer periphery thereof, and the inner surface of the second peripheral edge is configured to couple with and cover the first peripheral edge of the container. At least two first connecting portions respectively protrude from the second peripheral edge at symmetric positions, and at least two second connecting portions, which are located at symmetric positions, outwardly protrude from the second periphery edge respectively.

Abstract: An improved gripping member for a weight bearing container. The gripping member is specifically designed to either replace an existing gripping member, or improve a two part handle for a weight bearing container by providing a larger diameter gripping surface. The improved gripping member is formed of two identical mating halves that can be releasably attached to form a cylindrical gripping surface with a relatively large diameter. When attached about an existing gripping member or wire handle portion of a two part handle the inventive gripping member provides a large diameter gripping surface to distribute the weight of the container about a larger portion of the user's palm.

Abstract: A backward-folded opening-resistant container structure includes first and second casing members combinable with each other. The first casing member has an outer side to which a foldable member that includes an insertion trough and an engaging member is connected. The second casing member includes a grip portion having a notch. A break-away unit includes a planar portion connected to the notch by means of a perforation line and a fastening portion in the form of a hollow cylindrical body having an end formed with an opening connected to the planar portion. The insertion trough and the fastening portion are combinable with each other, and the foldable member is foldable to have the engaging member inserted into the opening. When the first casing member and the second casing member are separated, the perforation line is broken and the break-away unit detaches from the second casing member.

Abstract: A beverage container lid includes a round rim and a flange extending beyond the rim. The rim and flange form an outer perimeter having a plurality of local maxima, at least one of which is proximal to a spout, such that the container, when tipped over with the spout oriented downward, will gravitationally roll until the rim rests on one of a plurality of local minima, which in embodiments requires rolling through an angle of no less than 30 degree and/or no more than 90. The local maxima can be equally spaced about the center of the lid and equidistant from the lid center. Between each adjacent pair of local maxima, the perimeter of the lid can be shaped substantially as an arc of a circle, where the circles can have equal radii. In some embodiments the flange extends beyond the rim everywhere.

Abstract: A transport box, in particular for partially prepared meals and food, includes a lower part having a receiving space limited by lateral walls and at least one base. The receiving space can be sealed by a cover. The cover has a coolant space for receiving a coolant. In addition, the lower part (11) has two receiving spaces. The receiving spaces can be sealed by a respective cover. The covers can be arranged in two cover positions sealing the receiving space. The cover positions differ in terms of a cooling effect that can be achieved by the coolant, such that the transport box offers at least two different options for temperature control via the selection of the cover positions.

Abstract: A thin-walled plastic container for storing liquids having a pour spout on a top and a handle disposed at a point near the pour spout to a point on a front of the container. In preferred embodiments, ridges are formed into portions of the corners and edges of the container and container body to add structural support. The characteristics of the present invention allow for enhanced storage and display capability, easier product transport, and increased durability.

Abstract: A container for delivering ingredients of a meal kit to a consumer. The container comprises a main container and one or more cups removably locatable within the main container. The one or more cups may vary in size and shape. Various combinations of cups of different sizes and shapes can be located in the main container. In spite of the various sizes and shapes of cups that may be located in the main container, a lid may be provided that seals the main container and each of the one or more cups that are located within the main container for different selections and arrangements of the cups. In some embodiments, each of the one or more cups is supported above a base surface of the main container to create a space between the one or more cups and the base surface of the main container.

Abstract: Containers for storing food in a storage compartment may include a base portion of the container. The storage compartment is sealed with a film to get the food stored in the storage compartment fresh. The container further includes a reversible lid that is able to attach to the base portion of the container in two different configurations. In a first configuration the reversible lid attaches to the base portion without affecting the seal created by the film. In a second configuration the reversible lid attaches to the base portion when the lid is inverted and the film is removed from the base portion.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to storage boxes commonly used to organize and store items such as school-related supplies that may be carried by a student. The storage boxes generally include a lid and a base. The base optionally includes a divider which provides for two or more storage portions within an interior of the base, while also acting as a functional grip on the outside of the box. A latch mechanism is provided which securely latches the lid and base together in a closed configuration.

Abstract: A container for disposal of medical waste is provided that comprises a receptacle with an open top. A lid is attached to the receptacle to cover the open top of the receptacle. The lid has an elongated opening sized to permit the introduction of medical waste into the receptacle. A closure flap is connected to the lid to selectively close the lid opening. The closure flap is movable between an open position, a closed position and a locked position. The closure flap is attached to the lid by axial hubs that extend from each side of the closure flap through openings in the side walls of the lid. Covers attached to the outside of the side wall of the lid and engaged with the closure flap axial hub. The container may also include a locking external cabinet that encloses the receptacle and can be mounted to a wall.
