Abstract: An in soil data collection and analysis system and process is disclosed where the data from a plurality of in soil sensors is combined with other data that is acquired by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to create a fused data set that can be used to determine an appropriate corrective action or response to the fused data.

Abstract: An inventive animal collar device is described herein that monitors location, physiological information and/or environmental information relating to an animal wearing the device. The collar may include multiple sensors and other electrical components embedded within the collar body that provide means for: tracking and monitoring an animal's activity and whereabouts, increasing visibility of the collar, and storing and retrieving animal, environment and system information. The collar may implement one or more wired or wireless communication devices so that the collar may transmit data to a connected computing device. The collar may also include one or more antennas to send and/or receive location information associated with the device. The collar may include a removable module that attaches to the collar via a module dock. The removable module may include any of the electronic components and may allow for the collar body to remain on the animal during information transfer and/or charging.

Abstract: A fishing line guide member is formed in a ring shape, and has a curve surface curved from an inner circumferential side toward an outer circumferential side in a cross-sectional view with respect to a cross-section of the fishing line guide member taken along a cut plane including an axis line of the fishing line guide member. In an inner circumferential side part of the curve surface, R1 is larger than R2, in which R1 denotes a curvature radius of an axial center side part of the curve surface and R2 denotes a curvature radius of an axial end side part of the curve surface.

Abstract: An automated fluid maintenance system comprising a sensor system and a pump configured to deliver fluid from a refillable reservoir to a container holding a Christmas tree, such as a Christmas tree stand. Embodiments of the system include tree attachment hardware capable of controlling the flow, delivery and direction of the fluid being pumped from the of the fluid system's reservoir to a fluid-holding container of the Christmas tree stand and further capable of securing the point of fluid delivery to the tree stand and/or the tree itself. The tree attachment device universally attaches to any available tree stand, even the most complex stand mechanisms, sizes and shapes that obstruct the path to the Christmas tree being maintained by the automated fluid delivery system of the present application.

Abstract: An animal feeding system is provided. The feeding system includes a container that holds dry pet food, and a receptacle that gravitationally receives the pet food. The system also provides a conveyor system. The conveyor system moves the dry pet food from the receptacle to a feeding bowl. Additionally, the animal feeding system includes a processor. The processor is configured to deliver start and stop signals to a motor in response to signals sent from a user control unit. The animal feeding system additionally comprises the user control unit. The control unit offers a user interface for programming the system according to a desired feeding schedule. A method for feeding an animal using the feeding system is also provided herein.

Abstract: A multi-layered animal garment is configured to aid shedding of fur from an animal. The garment includes a fur agitation layer comprising a plurality of fur agitation features to facilitate the shedding as the fur agitation layer moves relative to the fur and a mesh layer configured to retain fur pieces shed from the fur. Each layer includes at least one leg band configured to be attached to a leg of the animal. The fur agitation layer and the mesh layer are elastically connected to each other. The leg band of the fur agitation layer and the leg band of the mesh layer cause the fur agitation layer and the mesh layer to move in relation to each other.

Abstract: A watering assembly is provided. The watering assembly includes a reservoir body, a support assembly, a wicking assembly, and an inlet assembly. The reservoir body defines an enclosed space. The support assembly is structured to support soil. The support assembly is coupled to the reservoir body. The wicking assembly includes a number of wicking elements; the wicking elements are coupled to at least one of the reservoir body or support assembly. The wicking elements extend from the reservoir enclosed space to a location outside the reservoir enclosed space. The inlet assembly is coupled to the reservoir body and structured to provide fluid communication from a location outside the reservoir enclosed space to the reservoir enclosed space. When the reservoir body, the support assembly, the wicking assembly and the inlet assembly are assembled, the reservoir body, the support assembly, the wicking assembly and the inlet assembly form a contained watering assembly.

Abstract: A fish attraction device that includes a jig body, a blade with a snap, a pair of crimping sleeves, a quick change snap swivel and a crinkle resistant leader wire. The jig body includes an attachment in its front portion for attaching the blade, and the rear portion of the jig body includes a first crimp sleeve that is attached to a first end of the leader wire. The leader wire extends from the rear portion of the jig body a sufficient length for attaching to a chase bait that can be appropriately attached on an opposite end of the leader wire using a second crimp sleeve and quick change snap swivel.

Abstract: A pet toy includes a handle, a cord, a retractable cord apparatus coupled with a first end of the cord and being structured to retract the cord into itself after the cord has been pulled out, an attachment mechanism coupled to the second end of the cord and structured to releasably couple to an object, and a telescopic pole having a first end coupled to the handle and a second end coupled to the retractable cord apparatus.

Abstract: A waste disposal apparatus having outwardly-canted sidewalls and a base wall forming a basin. A liner is centrally disposed on an interior of the basin. At least one litter sieve is centrally arranged on the liner. A securing flange is located on a top portion of the sidewalls and is operable between a closed position and an open position and includes at least one handle protrusion. The litter sieves and the liner are held securely in place by the securing flange when the securing flange is in the closed position. A litter sieve can include opposing handle ribbons removably disposed in corresponding envelopes on opposite sides of the sieve. The envelopes can include frangible elements that selectively secure the handle ribbons, but that fail upon application of a force so that the ribbons can at least partially exit the envelopes and thereafter used to lift a loaded sieve.

Abstract: A flashing fish lure includes a bore to receive a glow stick. At least one water wheel on or in the body rotates as the body is pulled through water. Each water wheel includes at least one aperture, such that as the water wheel rotates, light is intermittently communicated from the glow stick, through the aperture, and out or both of the opposing side surfaces to appear as a flashing light. The glow stick may use a chemiluminescent or phosphorescent material. The pail is alternatively couplable to the housing in an inverted position wherein the pail extends upwardly relative to a top wall of the housing defining an elongated compartment with the interior space and an interior of the bucket for holding an elongated implement such as an ice fishing rod.

Abstract: A grooming device for animals includes a glove and one or more grooming pads affixed (possibly molded) thereto. The glove is made from anti-static material, and may additionally be treated with a spray or solution, that is resistant to electrostatic accumulation and discharge caused by friction during the grooming process. The grooming pads include multiple protrusions that are used to cling to and collect extraneous debris and hair from the animal's body and coat. Due to the materials and the placement of the molded pad, the glove facilitates hand movement dexterity and reach. The device also allows the user increased tactility between the thumb and index finger by keeping them free of coverage by the grooming surface. The device may include a soft material on the back of the glove for grooming and brushing sensitive areas of the animal's coat.
