Abstract: A method for managing resource allocation in an Edge Computing, EC, system (30), carried out in an EC management entity (300) connected to at least one EC host (220). The method comprises detecting (501) a request from a user equipment, UE, (303), which request is associated with an EC application; providing (502) at least one application instance of said EC application in a host of the EC system; receiving (503) user assignment information from the EC application; and determining (504) a mapping between the UE and a specific application instance based on the received user assignment information.

Abstract: A system includes a common display, a display computer to run collaboration software connected to the common display that drives the common display, the display computer being on a first network, a first mobile device to run a sharing application and a streaming application, the first mobile device being on a second network, separate from the first network, the streaming application to convert a display of the mobile device into stream data, a control channel between the mobile device and the display computer, and a stream channel between the display computer and the mobile device. The mobile device sends stream data directly to the display computer, wherein the display computer is to display the stream data on the common display. The stream channel may be directly between the mobile device and the display computer or may be over a relay server.

Abstract: Techniques have been developed to facilitate the livestreaming of group audiovisual performances. Audiovisual performances including vocal music are captured and coordinated with performances of other users in ways that can create compelling user and listener experiences. For example, in some cases or embodiments, duets with a host performer may be supported in a sing-with-the-artist style audiovisual livestream in which aspiring vocalists request or queue particular songs for a live radio show entertainment format. The developed techniques provide a communications latency-tolerant mechanism for synchronizing vocal performances captured at geographically-separated devices (e.g., at globally-distributed, but network-connected mobile phones or tablets or at audiovisual capture devices geographically separated from a live studio).

Abstract: A system and method are provided for provisioning code snippets for programming a content delivery network. The method includes receiving a first client code snippet from a first client. The first client code snippet includes identity information of origin servers, standard responses for network requests, and configuration parameters to configure programmable content delivery nodes to respond to the one or more network requests. The method also includes publishing the first client code snippet to a snippet library, and indexing the first client code snippet in the snippet library. The method also includes receiving, from a second client, a request for a second client code snippet. The method also includes selecting a subset of client code snippets stored in the snippet library. The method also includes rendering identification information for the subset of client code snippets, and outputting a selected client code snippet from the subset of client code snippets.

Abstract: Methods, non-transitory computer readable media, and web service management apparatus that assists with exposing mainframe data as a web service include receiving a web service request from a client device. Data in the received web service request is identified. One or more drivers and one or more functional application programming interfaces (APIs) are identified based on the identified data. Provide response data from a mainframe system based on the execution of the identified one or more functional APIs.

Abstract: A method is provided. The method includes based on an online meeting ending, receiving, by a user terminal, a link for creating a meeting note for the online meeting from an external device; based on a first user input of selecting the link for creating the meeting note, displaying a user interface for creating the meeting note on a display of the user terminal; receiving at least one second user input within the user interface for creating the meeting note; and transmitting information associated with the at least one second user input to the external device to control the external device to share the meeting note created based on the at least one second user input with at least one participant of the online meeting.

In some embodiments, the P-CSCF serving a PLMN passes through the ANBR attribute in the SDP when the P-CSCF recognizes that the PLMN supports ANBR functionality. In some embodiments, the UE can include ANBR attribute in the SDP offer and answers when the P-CSCF indicates its support for the ANBR attribute in the SDP.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for allocating a server to a terminal are provided. The method includes receiving an Internet protocol (IP) packet with a domain name system (DNS) query from a terminal, including terminal location information in the IP packet, transmitting the IP packet to a DNS server, receiving, from the DNS server, a response IP packet location information of a proximity server, the proximity server being located within a certain distance from the terminal, and transmitting the response IP packet to the terminal.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing an authenticated groupcast stream of content to destination receivers are disclosed. A method may include receiving information indicating that a media capturing source(s) located at a premises and destination receivers are included in a group. Content captured from a media capturing source(s) may be received. The content may include an image(s)/video(s) and a destination network address associated with the destination receivers. The content may be copied. The number of copies of content may correspond to a number of the destination receivers. A respective copy of the content may be sent to the destination receivers.

Abstract: A network device determines when multiple users each connect to a network using one or more devices. The network device obtains device or network-related parameters associated with the one or more devices and generates profiling vectors for each of the multiple users, that connects to the network using the one or more devices, to produce multiple profiling vectors. The network device clusters the multiple profiling vectors to identify cluster centers associated with a plurality of user groups, and determines first users of the multiple users for, or with, whom to perform certain actions or activities based on the first users' affinity with one or more of the plurality of user groups. The network device performs the certain actions or activities with respect to the determined first users.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for deploying an application. One method includes acquiring a computational graph corresponding to an application. The computational graph includes a plurality of nodes corresponding to operations performed by the application, the nodes including at least one input node for exchanging data with at least one terminal device and at least one computational node for processing data. The at least one input node is deployed to a first group of edge nodes co-located with a first base station serving the at least one terminal device, and the at least one computational node is deployed to a second group of edge nodes co-located with an area data center. Illustrative embodiments of the present disclosure enable an input node to be as close to a user as possible, thereby achieving low response delays while meeting the requirements of a computational node for storage and computational resources.

Abstract: A disclosed method may include (1) generating a configuration file that represents a specific configuration of a network device included in a network, (2) storing the configuration file that represents the specific configuration of the network device among a set of configuration files available via an NMS, (3) assigning to the configuration file via the NMS, a configuration identifier that uniquely identifies the configuration file among the set of configuration files available via the NMS, (4) receiving, via the NMS, a rollback request to restore the network device to the specific configuration based at least in part on the configuration identifier, and then in response to receiving the rollback request, (5) restoring the network device to the specific configuration based at least in part on the configuration file. Abstract: A storage controller of a network controlled content recording system that uses a combination of network and local storage determines to record content for a user. The storage controller performs an evaluation to determine whether to store the content in network or local storage. The evaluation may include evaluating a set of rules and/or characteristics of the user, characteristics of the content, characteristics of a request to record the content, and so on. The storage controller then arranges for the content to be recorded accordingly. Subsequently, the storage controller may reevaluate storage locations and direct transfer accordingly. This reevaluation may include determining that various characteristics related to the user, the content, and so on have changed and that transfer is appropriate due to that change.

Abstract: A computer-implemented technique is described herein by which a first user can forward notification information to one or more other users, including a second user. The first user can interact with the notification information via a first computing device, while the second user can interact with the notification information using a second computing device. In some implementations, both the first computing device and the second computing device have access to an application which has generated the notification information or to which the notification information otherwise pertains. In other implementations, the second computing device may lack access to the application. In some implementations, the first user receives the notification information and then explicitly and manually controls the forwarding of the notification information (or a version of the notification information) to the second user.
