Abstract: Disclosed herein is a protective cuff guard for protecting the hem of a pants leg. In exemplary embodiments the cuff guard comprises a body comprising at least one layer of durable material such as neoprene or nylon; a first fastener element and a second fastener element, disposed such that when the body is folded around the hem of the pants leg, the first fastener element engages the second fastener element, detachably affixing the body to the pants leg. In further embodiments at least some of the fastener elements are magnets. In further embodiments the cuff guard may further comprise a decorative device affixed to the body of the cuff guard.

Abstract: A labor and delivery outfit designed to provide function, comfort and dignity, comprises: a sleeveless, wrap shirt having an upper portion with nursing flaps, lower portions extending from the flaps, a back having straps, lower portions defining an opening therebetween; a built-in, supporting, nursing bra with nursing cups, releasable fasteners for covering the nursing cups, and, a wrap skirt having an elastic waist, a built-in pregnancy panel, and, a rear zipper. Releasable fasteners are provided for fastening the rear lower portions to the upper portion of the shirt, thereby providing access to the spine.

Abstract: A sanitary arm sleeve structure includes an arm sleeve, adapted for receiving the user's arm therewithin, having an outer side, an opposed inner side, and a free edge end, and a sleeve protection layer having an upper edge end attached on the arm sleeve and a lower edge end extended to the free edge end of the arm sleeve so as to overlappedly encircle the sleeve protection layer around the outer side of the arm sleeve. An elastic retaining loop is provided at the inner side of the arm sleeve above the free edge end thereof for applying an elastic binding force around the user's arm above the wrist thereof, so as to retain the arm sleeve in position that the sleeve protection layer is capable of encircling around the user's arm.

Abstract: A band that extends around a garment appendage, such as a sleeve or trouser leg. The band has a concealed position that hides a reflective tape and a deployed position where the reflective tape is visible. The band includes a cylindrical strip that fully encircles and is attached to the garment appendage at a distance from the free end of the garment appendage. The reflective tape is bonded to the underside of the strip or to the garment appendage.

Abstract: Garments having an inside-out appearance are disclosed and are designed to be inside-out and fashionable. Unique fasteners, belt carriers and modifications of pockets make possible wearing a garment having an inside-out appearance. When a conventional garment is turned inside out many features such as belt carriers, zippers, and pockets become difficult or impossible to use when the garment is worn. Garments disclosed herein permit full use of features such as belt carriers, buttons, zippers, and pockets.

Abstract: A sports garment including a pullover shirt having inner and outer lower layers. The inner lower layer is almost always worn tucked into pants to provide comfort and support to the wearer. The outer lower layer may be worn outside of the pants to provide the wearer with a neat and trim appearance.

Abstract: A medical gown includes separable portions that can be joined using color coded fasteners. The garment includes a pair of sleeve portions each having a separable seam extending from a neck opening to a distal end of the sleeve portion. Disposed along each of two opposing edges of the separable seam are a plurality of mating, color-coded fasteners allowing a medical worker to easily secure the garment about a patient. The garment also includes a back flap that wraps around to partially overlay a front surface of the garment, and which is likewise secured with color-coded fasteners.

Abstract: A finger guarding device, in combination a culinary finger guard plate, two finger guards upstanding from a side of the plate and having spacing therebetween to receive a user's middle finger to extend generally parallel to the plate, each finger guard having a finger retention portion overhanging the plate to provide adjustable spaces to receive the user's first and third fingers, between said overhang portion and the plate.

Abstract: A pant cuff protecting device includes a clip member that has a central section and a first leg and a second leg each attached to and extending away from the central section so that the clip member is U-shaped. Each of the first and second legs has an inner surface facing each other and an outer surface facing away from each other. The central member biases the first and second legs toward each other. The clip member is positioned on a pant cuff such that the cuff is adjacent to and extends along the central member and such that the first leg is positioned outside of a pant leg of the pant cuff.

Abstract: A swimsuit especially adapted for use by elderly and physically challenged women includes a one-piece body having an upper wraparound portion and a lower trunk portion. The upper portion includes first and second panels or flaps that overlap one another and include free ends that are secured to the body by readily securable and releasable fasteners such as hook and loop fasteners.
