Abstract: A packaging assembly includes a base and a divider. The base includes a bottom piece and first, second, third, and fourth walls extending from the bottom piece. The bottom piece of the base and the first, second, third, and fourth walls of the base define a product receptacle. The divider is connected to the bottom piece of the base and extends through the product receptacle. The base and the divider are jointly formed from an integral planar member having a plurality of folds therein. Other products, assemblies, and associated methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: A container for collecting sharps includes an opening adapted to receive sharps in a substantially vertical orientation, and an interior region for storing sharps received through the opening. The container includes a means for reorienting the sharps into an arrangement in which the sharps lie substantially parallel to one another within the interior region of the container. A method for configuring a sharps collection container includes the step of positioning a contoured surface of a guide element beneath an opening of the container to reorient sharps that are deposited through the opening into an arrangement in which the sharps are stored substantially parallel to one another in the container.

Abstract: Each of the first and second side panels of a tubular carton includes a notional longitudinal line disposed at an elevation above the bottom panel that is below the elevation of the shoulders of the bottles. At least one of the opposed ends of the tubular carton is closed by a composite end wall. The composite end wall includes pair of first and second side end closure flaps hingedly connected to the side panels of the carton along first fold lines respectively. Each of the first fold lines is interrupted by a pair of at least substantially triangular panels, each of the pairs of at least substantially triangular panels is formed such that a lowermost triangular panel of the pair is disposed below the respective notional longitudinal line and such that an uppermost triangular panel of the pair is disposed above the respective notional longitudinal line.

Abstract: An approach is provided for decreasing infection risk and simplifying operation while wearing a contact lens. A contact lens blister package comprises a body. The body has an opening and an inner space where the contact lens is housed. The contact lens has a convex surface that is corresponded to the body opposite from the opening, so that the contact lens is pushed forward to the opening by a finger and the body is turned inside out and transformed to form a protective sheath that is temporarily worn on the finger as the contact lens is placed onto the wearer's eye.

Abstract: A financial transaction card is packaged by a carrier which contains the card and restricts motion of the card sufficiently to inhibit removal of the card by improper means (e.g., creating a slit in the exterior of the package and sliding the card out) prior to activation of the financial transaction account associated with the card at the point of sale. In a preferred embodiment, the package is a simple three-panel construction having an internal panel provided with slits that do not contact the card unless improper removal of the card is attempted. Such a feature provides substantial security for the packaged card, at minimal manufacturing cost.

Abstract: To improve a buffer effect on cartridges as well as to make it possible to suppress deformation or breakage of the cartridges in the case where, after a storage case containing the data recording cartridges has been put in an outer case for packaging, the outer case is dropped. A sheet-shaped member is folded so as to cover an upper surface, a lower surface, and one side surface of a storage case 40 to form a backing plate member 30. The backing plate member 30 is formed with first cutout portions 35a for receiving first projecting portions 48a of an upper surface of the storage case 40, and second cutout portions 35b for receiving second projecting portions 48b of a lower surface the storage case 40.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a package assembly for placing it on a surface and for storing and/or delivering substances, preferably dental substances, comprising: at least one container with at least one base and at least one lid; and at least one hinge connecting the base and the lid; wherein the base and the lid comprise at least a first and second lever; the first and second levers are provided at the container essentially on the side of the hinge and; a projection of the first lever onto the surface and the second lever extend with their free ends essentially in a direction away from the hinge; and wherein the container can be opened or the lid can be removed from the base by moving the ends of the first and second lever towards to each other. The invention is further directed to a method for providing dental substances, a kit with an assembly, as well as the use of an assembly and a method for storing and/or delivering dental substances.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to electronic cigarettes, and more particularly, to a container for storing the electronic cigarette. In one embodiment, the container includes a cover coupled to a base through a hinge. The hinge can provide three settings: opened, closed and middle. Within the base of the container, a number of sections can be provided. One section can enclose the hinge. At a distal end from the hinge, another section can include a portion where an electronic cigarette can be held. The section can incorporate a spring loaded mount whereby the electronic cigarette can be held firmly into place or loosely removed.

Abstract: A wafer container utilizes a rigid polymer tubular tower with slots and a “getter” therein for absorbing and filtering moisture and vapors within the wafer container. The tower preferably utilizes a purge grommet at the base of the container and may have a check valve therein to control the flow direction of gas (including air) into and out of the container and with respect to the tower. The tower is sealingly connected with the grommet. The tower may have a getter media piece rolled in an elongate circular fashion forming or shaped as a tube and disposed within the tower and may have axially extending. The media can provide active and/or passive filtration as well as having capabilities to be recharged. Front opening wafer containers for 300 mm sized wafers generally have a pair of recesses on each of the left and right side in the inside rear of the container portions.

Abstract: Case accessories for portable electronic devices are disclosed. In some embodiments, a case accessory may include a base configured to sit on a working surface, a support coupled to the base and configured to support a portable electronic device in an elevated position, a rotational mechanism coupled to the support configured to allow the holder to rotate in one or more directions relative to the support, and a holder coupled to the rotational mechanism and configured to secure the portable electronic device.

Abstract: A two-compartment container in which the first compartment has an upper layer and a lower layer and contains a first component that is to be added to the second compartment. There are at least two lacquer layers on the lower layer of the first compartment outside of the first compartment, between the second component and the first compartment. Above the first compartment is a dome that is bowed upward and is flexible. Depressing the dome by pushing downward on it causes the lower layer of the first compartment to be ruptured without cutting or rupturing the upper layer, releasing the first component into the second compartment.

Abstract: A screw driver tool box includes an accommodating box, a plurality of screw heads, and a driver rod. Both sides of the accommodating box are provided with a turnable accommodating base respectively. The accommodating base is provided with a plurality of accommodating troughs for allowing the driver heads to be inserted therein. One end of the driver rod is formed with a handle portion, and the other end thereof is formed into a connecting end. The connecting end is provided with an insertion trough for allowing the driver heads to be inserted therein. The present invention is characterized in that: the accommodating box comprises a sleeve. One end of the sleeve is formed into an opening for insertion. The walls around the opening are provided with a plurality of grooves and a plurality of clamping claws. The clamping claws protrude from the opening. A through-hole is provided on a wall of the accommodating box to correspond to the opening.

Abstract: A lower cushioning structure and a package cushioning structure for a display panel are disclosed. The lower cushioning structure comprises: a supporting frame, comprising a baseplate as well as a first side plate and a second side plate extending upwards from two opposite sides of the baseplate respectively; two first cushions, being disposed at a location where the first side plate of the supporting frame borders the baseplate and a location where the second side plate of the supporting frame borders the baseplate respectively; and two second cushions, being disposed on an inner wall of the first side plate and an inner wall of the second side plate of the supporting frame respectively, wherein the second cushions are located above the first cushions. The present invention has a low cost and can provide satisfactory cushioning for the display panel.

Abstract: An earphone protector device includes top and bottom compartments partitioned by and releasably attachable to opposite sides of a central partition member. A passage through the partition member is sized for insertion of earphone cords, wherein the corresponding earphones are located on the top side of the partition member and the earphone plug is located on the bottom side of the partition member. When used in conjunction with a portable media player, the earphones and earphone plug may be extended through slots located on each corresponding compartment, thereby limiting the amount of slack in the earphone cords during use. In another embodiment of the device, the central partition member does not include a passage and the device may be used for separately storing complimenting articles in the two compartments.

Abstract: A cardboard cover that seals a package and that also enables the resealing of the package. The lower surface of the cover (2) is provided with a downwards directed annular profile (3) made of an injection mouldable material, which enables the resealing of the cover and is placed inside the package when the package is sealed. The invention also relates to a package which is sealed by using the above-described cardboard cover that enables resealing. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a card-board cover and a method for sealing a package.

Abstract: A package includes a pair of opposed package end surfaces and a first package wall spaced from a second package wall and connected thereto by an end wall forming a first compartment for holding one or more product pieces. The first compartment has an opening. A cover extends from the first compartment and is movable between an open and closed position to selectively cover and uncover the first compartment opening. A closure is disposed at one of the opposed end surfaces and retains the cover in the closed position. The closure includes a first closure member on the cover and a second closure member on the container. The first closure member is selectively, operatively couplable to the second closure member.
